  1. yea that ticked me off... there have been two but no more ever again.... sooooo stupid. i think the only rule there should ever bee in the Star Wars Universe is that there can never bee a Yoda back story of telling where he came from. that is the only rule that Lucas has come up with that i think makes since anything else is just stupid!!! and Han shot FIRST!!!!

  4. you people have very small closed minds!!! the romance thing was brought up many many many times and it was also stated it was a joke. it was stated it was a joke by a Bioware official on these very forums. and just an FYI there was a romance between a human and a bothan in the EU Novels sooooo just because YOU would not want to romance them dont mean someone else wouldn't!!!!

Selonian, Klatooinian, Gamorrean, Mon Calamari those are just a few of the ones i would like to see before any more mostly human looking ones are added... yes even before Togruta
  6. you know what would be nice if they implemented?? an in game poll.. Star Conflict has it and since this game already ripped that game off for GSF might as well rip that off too. in Star Conflict they ask questions (usually every week) about what the players like, use, might like, and just general questions about the game. they give usually 5 choices to choose from. they also give you some gold coins for answering them as well . but this would be good on may different levels, for one it would let them know just how many players in game would be ok with 12x XP so we could see if it really is a small amount of people that would like it or not. they could also use it to find out what people like and dont like. anyways it was just a thought after reading someone saying people wanting the 12x XP back are in the minority. though you would only get answers from people in game playing and happen to log in during the time the questions was asked, you dont get all the people that are no longer playing or the people that still subscribe but no longer log in. but it would give you a good number to go off of, they could also send out the question in emails to past players. p.s. 12x XP obviously isn't too much because they had it in the past. if it was too much they wouldn't have done it B^P
  7. he is just trying to push your buttons and troll you just ignore him.. he will go away eventually. i say keep on with the good fight and i hope someone will listen. this game needs something to put a spark of life back into it instead of the same ole dead wet leafs they keep adding to the coals.
  8. http://www.swtorstrategies.com/2014/10/swtor-revenues-climb-over-100-million-for-2014.html 2013 it was 8th on the list... below maple story and Lineage I in October of 2014 it wasn't even on the top 10 list. now you can spin that and say in November this game had a huge spike in subs because of the 12x XP but by January of this year most if not all of those players had left and unsubbed.
  9. 1) they can speak basic no problem there 2) anything can be romanced it just depends on the person so that is a gray area pluss it was said that they were just joking about that anyways so it really should not be a problem 3) there have been Jedi Rodians and if there are Jedi there can be Sith as well 4) no problem with armor because they come in all shapes ans sizes just like humans. they can be tall, short, skinny, fat, and muscular i for one am all for any non human looking playable races humans are boring as hell!!!
  10. my bad you did say SWG:NGE to be honest i dont know how the leveling/questing was in NGE because i was already max level when it hit..... but since you brought up the NGE it was pretty much dead during most of its life, within a year of it hitting actually. i went back about a year after it hit and you could spend an hour on one of the more popular planets and never see anyone!! slowly but surely the servers became empty, this game right now kinda reminds me of SWG right after the NGE hit.... lets hope this game dose not follow the same path! the class stories are not as boring as the planetary ones. there is actually stories that impact your game and involve you unlike the fluff ones. though i do agree they fall off around level 30 on a lot of them but they are still better than that fluff crap!

  12. well if you noticed he was a SWTOR youtuber that had many SWTOR videos with a lot of fans so that is prolly why he has a referral link in his sig. he makes a lot of good points in his video though... you should go back and watch the entire thing.
  13. i leveled up 2 hunters on the same server up to max level, the only quests that i repeated were the ones for certain pets that you could only get form those quests, and quests to get into certain areas. other than that i had a plethora of quests to choose from to level up. in SWG you mostly leveled from taking missions form the mission terminals, yea they were all go out and get this and bring it back but it was always different things depending on what hide was good that day/week/month. not to mention you had FULL planets to wander around on and go anywhere on. Lineage II you had your normal starting quests but once you hit like level 10 you were sent out on your own and you found quests out in the world where ever you went. sure you can do PVP after level 10 but everyone knows PVP sucks in this game, KDY is just repeating the same thing over and over again so again its just repetitive junk and is no fun. GSF is a joke as well its a crappy rip off of Star Conflict. of coarse all the planetary quests are brand new to you the first time... but that's my point they are BORING and pointless and there are SOOOOO many in between your class story quests. not true only quests that you were required to repeat were the starting area quests. once you moved on from the starting area you were free to roam and do other quests how ever you chose. also in SWG you didn't really have quests you mostly had mission terminals that's how you leveled unless you wanted to unlock Jedi then you had to do the trials.
  14. heh you just admitted we would get more good players and who says they would leave?? maybe they would say and continue to make alts and some might even give the end game stuff a try. you never know what will happen. how do you know those people that left after the 12x XP wouldn't have stayed if the 12x XP would have stayed?? yes it took me that long to level up my two main toons (one light side one dark side) up to level 55. i also have one of each class at level 30. i would get bored with one class due to the fluff quests and move to another until i got bored with the fluff quests on that one. so yes the fluff quests kept me from fully leveling any of my toons.
  15. even with 12x XP and only doing class quests there are plenty of time sinks in game. there are still travel times, crafting times, not to mention if they decide to do some of the planetary heroics and flashpoints. it all boils down to the fact that Bioware should have put more time into class story quests instead of having such a small amount of class story quests and such a huge amount of repeatable fluff quests. I know this is a MMO but dose Bioware know?? i haven't played an MMO that forces you to do the same exact quests over and over for each toon just to level up to max level. all other MMOs that i have played i had plenty of options to choose from so every toon was a different experience. This game is more like KOTOR 3 than it is a true MMO it is very linear and one path driven, at least with 12x XP you will fill more like you are doing a quest line made just for your character.
  16. that is why i stopped even caring about 2xp week events. i started day one and it wasn't until the 12x XP that i got my first original toon to 55 and my second toon to 55. before the 12x XP i would hit every double xp weekend with boosts and i had all the xp unlocks unlocked. but even with that buff it still took for ever to level my main toon... why?? because i still had to do some of the fluff planetary quests and that bored the heck out of me. and who is refusing to participate in the stories?? what is why we want the 12x XP so we can just participate in the stories. but you are ignoring the flip side of your argument... it will also mass produce good players as well. More players > Fewer players
  17. no its to skip all the boring as heck fluff planetary quests and get to see the class stories in a more fluid and complete manner. its not really a RUSH to max level as fast as you can... people are just fed up with all the fluff crap. what was it?? some one said it was like 87% crap fluff quests and only 12% actual story?? now if it was the other way around there would be no need for 12x XP but as it is now the game is very repetitive and boring.
  18. do you think that was because they knew it was only for a short time?? i knew people that would have stayed around if the 12x XP would have stayed. from what it looked like to me is that you would have to complete one class on one faction to get the double XP and then do it again on the other side just to get to triple XP. that's if you want to play both sides but what about the people that want to play only light, or only dark?? and still triple XP still isn't enough. with 12x XP you can just stick with the class stories. that way you dont have to repeat any content unless you want ot reroll the same class in a different way. your way is still too slow and would still require a lot of the fluff planetary quests even with buffs and the xp unlocks.

  20. it is not mass producing bad players it is mass producing players period!! again the amount of time spent leveling dose not = better players!. and again the reason a lot of the people left is because they cut off the 12x XP who knows how long those people would have stayed around but during that entire stay of 12x XP the servers were actually full again unlike now and before it.
  21. to create more players??? yes!!! this game needs more players!!! why would it need less?? again amount of time in game leveling dose not = knowing how to play your class! and again what would you rather have?? more players or very few players?? they are in the same place as 12x XP is... gone why stick around if the reason you are here in the first place is gone?? huh?? what?? you dont think its verifiable that if you have more players in game (when i say players i mean subscribers) that it would be better for the game?? and if the game keeps loosing players that it wont die out and get shut down?? o yea sure SWG lasted for a LONG time after the NGE hit BUT you could go hours without ever seeing another player on a once highly populated planet, it would be like going to fleet and not seeing another player for an hour!!! but then again SWG even with the NGE was something special and unique. this game?? not so much.

  23. you do know there are people now reaching max level, leveling the slow way that have no clue how to play their class right?? it dont matter how fast or slow you reach max level there will always be people that have no clue how to play their class for end game content. its up to the vets, guild members, and experienced players to teach them. the reason you saw so many more people that didn't know how to play their class during the 12x XP was because there WAS MORE PLAYERS at that time. its kinda common since, the more players you have in game the more people you will have that wont know how to play their class. the fewer players you have the fewer people you will have not knowing how to play their class. so what would you rather have?? more players in game or fewer players in game?? the more you have in game will help sustain the longevity of the game! if you keep having fewer and fewer players in game the game wont last and die off.
  24. you do know that amount of time in game leveling does not contribute to how well you play your class right??? o yea sure it may help some people but most people it wont matter at all. so again what would you rather have?? A) fewer people in game? or B) many more people in game?
