    Mapping Assets to Patch Versions?

    Hey,

     

    I've been gone a while and wanted to update a map of the game assets to their associated Patch versions.

     

    E.g. Patch 6.1.4a having:

    assets_swtor_main_334

    assets_swtor_en_us_339

    retailclient_swtor_280

     

    I remember Jedipedia had a list for this a while back but I can't find it anymore.

     

    Does anyone have a mapping for each game update? Thanks!

    SWTOR Game Update 5.x Master Utility Builds Compendium

    The purpose of this thread is to compile a collection of the best PvP, PvE, and Hybrid utility builds for each class.

     

    Please submit builds using the TORCommunity Discipline Builder found here. Simply copy the "Sharing URL" link and post it here along with the name of the Advanced Class, Discipline, build type (PvE/PvP/Hybrid), and the name you want to go by.

     

    Example:

    Jedi Sentinel - Combat - PvE - https://tor.community/l1ODbh - Hayward

     

    If possible, please also include the mirror build for the opposite faction.

     

    I'll compile them here and also include them in the TORCommunity Class Guide pages for easy viewing. Let me know if you have any feedback or suggestions for the thread format!

    Update: A user suggested we add the ability to "flag for deletion" records that are incorrect or in the wrong category - we will add this over the next few weeks, as well as the ability to manage your own records.

    I know they didnt submit a screenshot, but now this person with 86 kills has the #1 record for most kills, while in reality there is a higher record. The way it is now, the leaderboard is a bit unrealistic because it doesn't show the actual highest records, just only the submitted ones. I hope you understand what Im trying to explain. :)

     

    I understand :) Someone can resubmit the same screenshot if it has proof of a different record (even a higher one like that screenshot in question)

     

    I can't go through and submit records for every single character in a screenshot though, that would take years ;)

    So many screenshots are going through that all we have time to do is verify the submitted record against the screenshot, not generate additional ones from the screenshot.

    We have a records page for TRE aswell. Perhaps you can somehow add it completely to your website. You can find it here: http://redeclipse.eu/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2168.

     

    Btw, when someone posts a record, you should/could check it for better records. For example, the current (submitted) record for Total Kills on your website is 86, while in that same screenshot someone else had a total of 117 kills.

     

    Thanks for posting! I will work on importing those records as well.

     

    The total kills one was submitted by a different user so they didn't submit the higher kill record.

    This is awesome! I had the idea to put all the server's records together at the end but this seems a lot better. I'm glad the records from my thread are on there. Though I guess it's kinda gonna be obsolete now maybe.

     

    I like how I can just apply filters now to see which records I want without having to go through lots of others, and people being able to put their own on there is good, especially when some servers don't have their own place to submit on the forums, it also looks nice on mobile so. +1

     

    Hey! Glad you like it - I know you put a lot of work into the forum version so if you want access to be able to manage this version too then shoot me a PM! :) We're looking to make an export function too so you could post a copy in your server's forums too :)

    Hey all! The team over at TORCommunity has built an automated system to manage all future PvP Arena and Warzone records for all servers:

     

    PvP Warzone & Arena Records - 4.X

     

    You no longer need to wait for someone on the forums to add your posted records - you can do it yourself with our easy-to-use form :)

     

    Enter the Character, Server, Patch, Record Category, and link to the record screenshot (Imgur Direct Link), press submit, and your record will automatically be added to the leaderboards!

     

    If you are interested in helping us verify records, please send me a PM! By default, submitted records are listed as unverified until a manager approves or deletes them.

     

    Feedback is welcome and appreciated! We are thinking about creating a record "Export" script so that we can still post a copy of the records here on the official SWTOR forums. If you have any suggestions then please let us know in the comments!

    Are there any friendly, sociable casual guilds on Republic side?

    I'm trying to get back into the game and one of the main reasons why I always fell off is that I've always felt like I'm playing the game alone. I'm interested in finding a casual group Republic side that isn't complete crickets in the gchat. I would prefer Republic but if there is a great group on Imp side I would totally consider rolling Imp full time. I really enjoy the game and am currently leveling two characters simultaneously. I have a 50 Gunslinger (original toon pre-xpacs) and a high 50s Guardian that will be 65 soon. I want to play my Gunslinger as main, but am totally interested in seeing what other classes have to offer. I've played numerous MMOs as a successful PVE'er, and I've played all roles from tank, heals, melee and ranged DPS. I may be interested in diving in full fledged but would hope to find the right crowd to enjoy the game with. Thank you for your time!

     

    Look for "Working as Intended" guild - they are casual and very friendly ;)

    Jedi Covenant Guild Summit #4 Summary and Audio ft. Eric Musco

    The 4th monthly Jedi Covenant Guild Summit hosted by TORCommunity was held on Saturday, May 30th, 2015. GMs and officers from guilds on Jedi Covenant were joined by special guest Eric Musco (Bioware Community Manager) to discuss game improvements, suggestions, bug fixes, and more for SWTOR.

    When does the 12X start?

    Hey Shirahko,

     

    We have a few edge case players who have not had it activated yet. We are actively looking into fixing these right now!

    I've restarted my client multiple times (and entire computer) and still have not had the Epic XP activated on my account. I've been a subscriber since launch and currently have an active subscription.

     

    Guess I'm one of those "edge cases"...
