  1. The best build in beta was the one right before they nerfed the item modification system. That build was probably the peak of all the content that they started to take out in every build thereafter. Yes, there were more titles, more variety in gear, more character creation choices, match to chestpiece color, and a few more missions. I think it was a better game at that stage and there probably wouldn't have been as much griping if they had released that version (minus the bugs).
  2. Exactly. The GoD expansion started that. WoW also started that along with all the hand holding. I think they went too far the other way, especially now, and all MMOs that follow are just copying that. I think developers need to take a step back and create something that is in the middle of the EQ and WoW models.
  3. I could do without the corpse run in EQ1 but other than that it's probably the most fun I've had in any MMO that I've played including SWTOR.
  4. Someone does that to me the group can find another healer to heal them, cya!
  5. Stepping into the Plane of Time for the first time was very awesome and memorable after all the work it took to get there. I've never had that feeling of accomplishment in any other game since then. Planes of Power was some of the best content ever even though it made you pull your hair out at times. Nice example of good game design.
  6. What bugs? We worked our butts off reporting bugs. The release version of the game the beta testers got as a reward for testing doesn't have most of the bugs people are complaining about and is about 6 mos. ahead of the release the general public has.
  7. Wait to be the last person to make their need/greed selection. If a person needs for their companion and didn't ask the group first, go ahead and need it yourself if your companion can use it, or if it's a BoE then give it to the person who can actually use it.
  8. Sort of like how I hated rogues in WoW but now I'm an IA OP! I love it!
  9. It takes absolutely no skill to reach level 50, just time. Of course if you were in beta and know all the content you're gonna get there faster. If you spacebar everything you're gonna get there faster. Now on the other hand, it does take some skill to actually run an end game character in PvP, raids, and such. Mostly good reflexes/reaction time, knowing your class and what it can do, good attention span, and paying attention to details to name a few. It helps to be able to take directions from others too.
  10. LOL @ this, like it was hard to get credits from sources other than slicing. My stuff on the AH is still gonna be bought, just not by you. Even if it's not, it's not really gonna affect me one bit as I have more than enough credits from other sources.
  11. Wow, BioWare could give everyone 100 bucks and you all would find something to complain about that What, does everyone have ADD in here? Give it some time, sheesh!
  12. If you run through a flashpoint like BT say 20 times you can really rack up those points by the time your level 20.
