  1. Easy answer. Have a talent that costs 1 point to take and does the following: - Removes hybrid tax on ability's for dps but removes all healing abilitys from class. Cannot have it both ways. Want the same dps then no healing whatsoever. Want to be able to heal and dps except you are not going to put out the same numbers.
  2. Really you went with a Learn 2 Play on the 1 cc removal you have against the amount of stuns in the game. And as all stuns/roots don't generate the same amount of resolve you can be very easily stun locked. The fact that if you do time your cc breaker correctly when you have a full resolve bar to maximise the time you cannot be stunned again then all people do is just wait for your resolve bar to flick off and then use one of there other stuns to stun lock you again. So again the L2P argument on resolve which has already been proven a broken system is laughable
  3. Yeh and look at that game now. Still releases more content than this one after all these years. Still has more pvp content in general and a slightly better (yes I said slightly) better system in regards to not getting gibbed without pvp gear. At least it is not known as much these days as world of stuncraft but this will always be known as stun wars....
  4. Snap and you soon fine which are the cookie cutter spec's that work and which ones are crap.... And you can play every spec, whether you play it awesome or just play it is another thing
  5. I agree with you. Does it take skill to add force crush to a player. Get 3 stacks of buff and smash = NOPE That is the greatest argument for balance needed in this game
  6. Never have to worry about getting a warning in the pvp forums. Bioware don't look at them
  7. What I always love about this is that the ones crying for a don't nerf it all play scoundrel/op healers who have no troubles with energy managment anyway. The fact that it is AN ESCAPE MECHANIC and people are saying no it is a gap closer is another problem in itself as it is not being used for what it is intended. Also the people who say it is only huttball that has this problem. Well play voidstar where you can roll over the bridge and cap before anyone has spawned. Play alderon where you can roll to whichever node you are capping before anyone gets near you. The whole slow and you only go 6m in front. WOW guess what you still can roll, roll, roll, roll. If I use my sage guess what I can force speed and YEP COOLDOWN Also those saying it is needed in pve. Well you are the ones that need to L2P then as if you are needing roll in pve situations you suck at paying attention to what is going on
  8. I can only say one thing on the matter. How many times do you play huttball which is where the original complaint comes from and there is an op/scoundrel who guess what always gets the ball cause he can roll over the entire map to it before we even get half way. That is the problem END OF Every escape mechanic should have a cooldown. Everyone else has so why do you OP (overpowered not operative) think you are better than the rest of us
  9. Well I am afraid you are the minority here. The problem with Bioware is they have to cater to the casual player = pve'er. So in that sense when a casual goes into a warzone and gets face palmed into the canvass because he has not worked to get his pvp gear he goes and whines like a little girl to Bioware to fix it. Hence we now have the bolster system to help all the pve players do pvp. If that is what they want then they should also add a pve bolster that helps all pvp players go and do pve. OH WAIT HE SAID WHAT>???????????? All the pve players have just spat out there dummys and said no way will pvp players get to do our content oh no...
  10. It is just another show of Bioware's hand of saying no point in getting pvp gear. Pls Pls go and do the operations we created as that is all we want our players doing
  11. It is already dead. This is why they are moving onto 4v4 arenas. So there is your premade vs premade. That is all they want to do from now on and can then ditch the whole warzone mechanic
  12. Ok I will keep this brief. If you have a healing spec then that is what you must spec to be any use in pvp. All I see is healers now. Nothing else. Have been doing warzones all day and faced 4-5 healers in every group = nobody gets anywhere. There is no point saying l2p. If you are such a god that you can take out that much cross healing then well I will bow down and kiss your feet. (oh that is if you can prove it) What will more than likely happen as a damage dealer is you will die slowly to a dot that the healer has put on you while he laughs as you try to kill him. If you have as many healers as they do which happens again alot = stalemate and pointless game. They need to do something about the whole pvp situation. Not just healing but the whole dynamics. I know again people will whine that if you nerf my healing in pvp I cannot do aswell in pve. Hey guess what made this problem in the first place THE PVE healers.
  13. All I have to say is bring in a shaman class to swtor. That is what wow did. This class can purge said heals, dps increase and such. And for those saying it needs to be on a long cooldown = idiots. What happens if you have a 40 second purge. Ok I remove the scoundrels heals = yay Oh snap he can just spam them back on again at no cost and I have to wait 40 seconds to remove them again = pointless. HOT's need to be able to be removed by the opposition that is all and pvp would be a little bit more balanced.
  14. Easy way to settle the argument - make all gear cosmetic only. Want to pve then fine you get bolstered stats to make your character the right sort of level for the encounter. Then it all comes down to execution and skill. This would be same as pvp. Now those that say pve is all about getting better gear so you can do harder challenges is alot of bullcrap. The reason you want to do pve is to get better stats on gear so you can go in again and have an easier time beating the bosses. No other reason. So if you had a bolster so it was always a challenge similar to what WOW did with challenge modes then you would have a better experience and the dungeons/raids would last longer.
  15. To be honest it is an op ability anyway. It ruins huttball as it makes you pretty much 99% the best ball carrier
