  1. The Dev's working on the Visceral game had said it's not open world but fan sites still put out old and incorrect information. Their are rumors that BW is working on something, but like the old saying goes "Rumors are like A-holes, everyone has them".
  2. It's in the form 10-Q. They tried to bury it in with how much they made off Galaxy of Heroes.
  3. From EA's Quarterly Report: "$1 million or 1 percent decrease in subscription net revenue primarily due to Star Wars: The Old Republic."
  4. Well, they did one thing off the list. The continued ability to define your chosen server playstyle, PvE, PvP, RP, RP-PvP. By making instances.
  5. The devs have already said that because of the Hero Engine it would be way to costly to put the game on console. EA isn't going to give them any more money for something that's going to cost more to make then the return on the profit. It's just business101.
  6. Signed!! As it is now this is not an event, it's just a gimmk to get new players and f'over the Vets.
  7. The cannon one is TCW produced by GL. So you can't get more cannon then that and the show was great; CW is the first one that's not cannon. And yes Traviss books sucked. And yes Wookieepedia is your friend: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Star_Wars:_The_Clone_Wars_(TV_series)

  11. So EA just had their Investor's call, and they talked a lot about Star Wars but don't say anything about SWTOR. Seeing how fast they were to say last call that "Q3, STAR WARS™: The Old Republic grew to its highest subscriber level in nearly three years" It would appear that there is no grew or a decline (More Likely) in subscribers. And seeing how they don't try to off set this with "SWTOR generated X% in digital sales" I would say that yes their has been a net lost in subs and income. Now lets see if EA will still let BW continue to do STROY,STROY, STROY.
  12. Wow; you are going to try and use the lore argument , but say that only Pre-Kotfe is in universe lore. Maybe in your head canon but in universe the lore stands at Ch. 12.
  13. I love how the naysayers keep saying wait for next qrt for the last 2 qrts. Just face it, the world doesn't revolve around Raiding. And this shows that must players are casuals that play for the story.

  15. They already posted the actual presentation. http://investor.ea.com/events.cfm?li...ed,Future,Past.
  16. Good news for SWTOR from EA’s FY16 Report According to the latest EA Q3 FY 2016 Financial Results репорт, our favorite game Star Wars: The Old Republic has registered the highest number of Subscriptions since “nearly 3 years”. Here’s the quote from EA’s document: In Q3, STAR WARS™: The Old Republic grew to its highest subscriber level in nearly three years. Quote: Star Wars fans are deeply engaged in our experiences on mobile and PC as well. On mobile, Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes quickly built a strong player base after it launched in November, reaching the top 5 most-downloaded iOS games in more than 130 countries. On PC, our Star Wars: The Old Republic community has grown to the highest subscriber level in nearly three years, driven by the latest digital expansion, Knights of the Fallen Empire. More great content is on the way for players in each of these experiences, as well as new Star Wars titles for multiple platforms in development across the company. Quote: Subscriptions, advertising, and other digital revenue contributed $90 million, down 10% from last year, due to the natural decline in the recognition of Battlefield 4 Premium revenue. However, EA Access is delivering strong, sustained growth, and we launched a similar PC subscription service, Origin Access, in January. Our most recent update to Star Wars: The Old Republic has fueled subscriber growth with its rich content and deep story-telling. Read the whole report here: http://investor.ea.com/releasedetail.cfm?ReleaseID=952277 Guess those sub numbers confirms that the silent majority very much is into story!
  17. AOE Taunts appear to be bugged after the last patch. I can single taunt without issue, but can't AOE Taunt. The Mobs don't react at all to it.
  18. I'm going to watch the new trailer for Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens on Monday Night Football:)
  19. I foresee that Darth Acina will become the new Sith Empress.
  20. About the guild The Imperial Guard was originally founded to play in Star Wars Galaxies. In Star Wars Galaxies, we were located on the Naritus Server and stood as the strongest Imperial guild in terms of members and successes. We had developed a large base complex that we defended from multiple Alliance attacks and we would lead "RP-ish" Imperial crackdowns of major cities. The Imperial Guard ran strong for two years and then slowly phased out as Star Wars Galaxies saw less and less content upgrades. For SW:TOR, we continue to be known as "The Imperial Guard" and we have brought everything that was great about the original and adding to it with a updated organizational structure, streamlined ranks, more player interaction in the guild, and Awards/Medals to recognize those of our players who have dedicated themselves to the Guard. The Imperial Guard focus on the two primary aspects of a massively multiplayer online game; Player vs Player and Player vs Environment. Our approach to Player vs Environment is that we have a staggered raid schedule that allows for multiple runs of Ops each week. This allows players in varying time zones to have a chance to participate, without being on-line at some ungodly hour. Our approach to Player vs Player is driven by practice and training. We select those individuals, whom enjoy "mastering" PvP in an MMO, and then take their expertise and train our other members to create a fighting force the likes of which rarely see. Our approach to Role Playing is completely optional. We feel that if you like to Role Play, that is great; but If you don't like to, that is fine too. We want all types of people to enjoy their time spent in The Imperial Guard. The community is important to us, and it is what makes The Guard what is it. Please take some time and enjoy our site, we have lots of information and resources available. If you think The Guard is the sort of guild you'd like to be part of; review our Code of Conduct / What Is Expected Of You information and then apply! Joining the guild We are currently taking applications for all classes. We emphasize a 18+ environment, but if you are younger you are still free to apply, as we do make exceptions. To apply, please visit our website listed above, and click the Apply for the Guard button. Members The Imperial Guard is structured like a military organization; we have the pleasure of running with mature individuals that can contribute certain skills to make the experience for its members a notable one. http://empirebeforeall.enjin.com/home Lt. 21. Lesson to lady Insanity"s talk to the dev's They said that you will keep HK and Treek.
  22. First off I have been doing Op and PvP from the Launch of this game; I also played through all 8 classes and the xpacs , but I came mainly for the story. And I think there are probably more people like me who would take more story over One or Two New Ops. The point is that in MMO's today the hardcore raiders are a dying breed; and it's not just SWTOR that is going for the casual player, Bioware is just using Story to get them. This is really good news for us casual players; Like I said before I would take more story over one or two new Op's any day.
  23. Just how badly is the Republic and the Sith Empire beaten? And is Darth Marr and Satele Shan still alive?
