Another day passes, and another "paid transfer" thread begins ...

Of course you expect paid transfers would come after consolidation, why? Because it makes sense! I know it, you know it, the birds outside pooping on my car knows it! But when was the last time Bioware did something that made sense? But honestly, if you have a group of monkeys (*ahem EA) managing a game's development things that make sense will inevitably be overlooked. Like you, I've been waiting since April for paid transfers ...

This goes out to all of the guilds on Jedi Covenant. What times do you do ranked PvP?

Agreed, if you're gonna blame anyone, blame those executives at EA in the ways that they are handling the direction of the game.

I absolutely agree with you that CD has a high force cost and take a while to cast. I also agree that to maximize damage output crushing darkness may not be the best given how much force it costs. However, as an assassin tank my role isn't to dole out as much damage as possible. My goal is to stay alive (while holding threat), which is where crushing darkness comes in. Each critical ticks on the DOT will heal me for 1% of health, which will increase survivability; not by a whole lot, but every little bit counts right?

Yea Parasitism doesn't work on Force Lightning, because Force Lightning is merely a channeled ability and not a DOT. Agreed, I've been waiting for paid transfer for months. Hopefully after the event ends next Tuesday, they'll get rid of those locked servers, and enable paid transfers.

The world event is ending on Tuesday, so maybe Bioware will shed some light on paid transfers then?

I feel like asking them about the whole paid transfer deal is like continuously beating on a horse in a coma. My advice: Don't bother with it for the time being and try to enjoy all of the current content that this game has to offer; I mean, the horse has to wake up at some point right? I surmise that they'll talk about this paid transfer thing once the current event is over.

I completely agree with you. It's ridiculous that they're still sitting on this. The free transfer service started like a month and a half ago, do they REALLY need that long to monitor server population? Besides, I'm WILLING to pay money to consolidate all characters on the same server. It's a win-win situation: Bioware gets money (happy Bioware), and I get all my toons together (happy me). It's just baffling why they're still waiting ...

Yea I want paid transfers as well. I don't know what Bioware is waiting on, the rewards thing for the free transfers was up two days ago, why can't they just merge all the origin servers now? This is ridiculous, I'm sitting here saying, hey Bioware, I WANT to give you my money to transfer characters to consolidate legacy. This way everybody wins, Bioware is happy because they made more money off of me, and I'm happy because I'll have all my toons on the same legacy.

Bioware announced today that SWTOR is going free to play. There are positives and negatives to this I'm sure, and many people in the community feel very differently about it. But Bioware, here's an idea, how about Paid Transfers? Why are you still sitting on that? Yesterday was the last day for the free transfer reward thing, why couldn't you just merge servers, close servers, and move on to Paid Transfers? Do you not realize that I, along with many others, will GIVE you money to consolidate our toons on the same server? I love this game, but please, communicate!

Geez, exaggerate much? Honestly, how many people do you know who are gearing their 5th alt in Campaign or War Hero? Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that those hardcore gamers aren't out there, but to characterize a few as many is a bit of a stretch.

My favorite line actually does not come from any of the characters in the game, but from a pick-up line I read in General Chat on fleet the other day: "Girl, what are the drop rates on those pants?" HAHAH

I just set things at my own prices. I can care less if people undercut me, I have a GTN terminal on my ship I'll just repost my item when it expires!
