Sniper's are pretty amazing. If you cant win in most situations as a sniper, **** and reroll. Actually, dont make a sniper. You will probably give us a bad name. Go make an assassin or something.

My guess is that you are having problems because you are not using a good rotation for Marksmen. I never had a problem solo'n anything reasonable with Kaliyo. She was the only companion besides Scorpio that was any help prior to 50. She holds threat easily on Elites while i sit there and wail away. Now that im 50 and geared I use ET. We smoke pretty much any elites very quickly.

What in the heck is up with the stats on the Field Tech's Set? They are endurance heavy, and the jump from Columi to Rakata on certain pieces is actually worse. For instance Columi Field Tech's Gloves: (tier 2) 123 endurance 105 cunning 29 crit 48 surge Rakata Field Tech's Gloves: (tier 3) 124 endurance 99 cunning 51 accuracy 57 power It just makes zero sense. THE JUMP from tier 2 to tier 3= +1 endurance -6 cunning -29 crit -48 surge +51 accuracy +57 power This is just stupid. Can someone please xplain this? Or if They have said they are changing this soon? thanks

My thoughts-- At first, I hated and loathed the Snipers survivability in PvP. But, alas, as weeks passed my ability got better. You will learn good spots to hide at on particular maps, ways too move around and get out of LOS of enemy players. Do not be afraid to run up and use your melee ability to stun a player when you have your 1.5 second Ambush active. Stun > Crouch > Instant Snipe > Ambush (knocking them back with talent) leg shot > Series of shots > takedown > shot blast if needed. BAM-- dead.

The cast is most definitely instant. BUT, it has travel time. If your oponent is right next to you, it will be almost instant. If they are at the maximum range for Leg Shot to work, then it will be slightly, very slightly longer. They should change the tooltip to correctly label how Leg Shot works. I aggree with you there. Travel times= bad.

This bug happened to me too. Im lvl 49, max of 5 deployable, yet im only able to send a maximum of 2 out on missions. Pretty stupid. Ive come to enjoy the firepower light shows that Ensign has. That girl can crank out the lasers now.

Im currently 44. I have used Kaliyo as my companion the entire time. Ive never had any problems solo'in elites or any group or pack for the most part. Dont forget about flashbang, its a great tool for some quick CC.
