I'm a long time WoW player so sorry in advance for any WoW terms/references used as I am unsure of a lot of the terminology right now. I'm looking for a good solo class to casually play in battlegrounds. I do not plan to play in a group at all. Also, please keep in mind I am trying to avoid staying away from classes that need dev attention because they may be severely under powered at the moment, so please do not suggest one of these classes! I'm looking for a solid, well-performing class/spec. That being said, I am looking for suggestions for which class/spec. Generally, I prefer toe-to-toe combat instead of tactical/ranged style play. I really enjoy being able to take a beating but also apply the same amount of pressure back. I'm not looking for a tank role but more or less a bruiser role. If there are any WoW players around here, my pvp classes have always been arms warrior/ret pally/DK. I generally do not care what faction I am playing unless there is a huge difference with racial bonuses. It's a pleasure to be playing Star Wars and thank you for reading my post.

Agreed. Darth Vader was Palpatine's only minion. If he would have just took the quarter of the cost of the death star and invested in sort of sith academy. The other sith wouldn't have cared that Vader's family was luke. They would have annhilated Luke since there would of 1.) been multiple sith 2.) have years of experience over Luke.

I would say they don't exist other than in the SWTOR universe. I think the whole reason there even is a shadow/assassin is because they wanted a WoW rogue class in this game. My opinion anyways.

This is not a complaint nor a QQ thread, I simply trying to inform the unaware. Certain players are offering credits for sub referrals. This is a SCAM. Players will take your referral, add you on ignore and enjoy their cartel coins. If something seems to good to be true, it probably is! I remember when I played UO, I had an uber weapon that I saved, and saved for. In UO you can only hold a certain amount of items. A random player came and gave me a 5k check along with a black dyed bag ( that you couldn't see because it matched the black background ) with a bunch of crap in it to match my inventory capacity. I didn't think anything of the check, I just thought someone was being nice. I didn't know the black bag was with it. He offered me an absurd amount of gold for my weapon, I accepted. I put my weapon in the trade and he cancelled the trade. The weapon was then suppose to go to my pack, but since my backpack was at its capacity, it fell to the floor and he picked it up and laughed. My point is, it's not my first rodeo when coming to scammers. ( FYI yes I was "scammed" but I fully expected the consequences, but the reward for referring someone was well worth the pay off on its own. So it was a win for me either way) My advice to you is get the credits partial up front or not accept the offer at all.. or find someone who just truly needs your referal. There are people who truly don't have much money to spend on cartel coins. Help them over obvious scammers. People are dishonest, it's natural human behavior especially this day in age over the internet. I am by no means saying all people who do this are scammers, most are though. Just be aware when dealing with unfamilar players. May the force be with you!

Meh I've always wondered this. I haven't seen the Jango Fett style Mandalorian armor in game. Is it the first generation style Mandalorian Armor or something? When exactly does the Jango Fett Mandal come into Star Wars. The reason I ask is because in SWG I had Mandalorian Armor, and the helmet was my favorite look...EVER. If I could just spend the next year of my life grinding out the mats to get that Mandal for a bounty hunter....

Sorry to sound so much like a noob here, but better while my char is young than when he's 55 So who usually generates the most threat? I was told to guard the healer, but I read somewhere it's best used on DPS who are drawing way to much agro.

I am level 29 first of all, and I can not figure out why I can not keep agro. For the most part, 50-75% of mobs I can control, but in big groups where they are spread out I have the worst trouble keeping agro. How do I do it? I am not new to MMOs at all and have experience tanking in WoW. I understand threat management, but what I don't understand right now is my lack of ability to generate it. I can't but help feel like a noob right now. The only sure-fire agro for me is " taunt " which is on a 15 second cool down. Also it's quite aggravating to see a vanguard tank have absolutely no trouble with this. Right now I'm 20/0/0. Force Leap/Force Sweep(after trying to group them together as best I can)/Freezing Force/Sundering Strike is how I usually start my rotation off. Maybe I have no idea what I'm doing on this guardian, a little advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, with other peoples' tank companions steal agro from me, there is nothing I can do. I've simply tried every kind of rotation, and just have to taunt the ( which is on a 15 second ) enemy in order to keep agro. What's the solution here? Ah, man my pally days were so much more simple

Seriously. I think everyone is on the same page at this point in time. I'm kind of bored. I have a 50 I haven't logged into in about a month. I'm scarcely logging in my jedi alt. I'm feeling very disappointed at this point in time. So, why everyone is slowly enduring this game while we wait for a new expansion or anything else for additional content, what is keeping you busy? Call of duty? An active WoW account? Leveling alts? Just curious. I'm still going to play this game as I am a huge Star Wars geek and bioware fan, I'm thinkin just mess around with a game that's been around a bit longer tell this game improves ( which it will, it's just a matter of time ) like UO or WoW. Anyways... yea... maybe I'll go play some Elder Scrolls. I use to be an adventurer, then I took an arrow to the knee.
