  1. That's funny... A player making a TO DO list for Developers. Just my opinion though, but I'm paying to play a BioWare game, not a game made by a bunch of people I don't know who may or may not have the same priorities as I do.
  2. As far as I understand any credit card that is not backed up by a bank account, which would enable recurring payments, cannot be used for subscriptions. What you probably could do however is to use your card to obtain a time-card code and fee that code as if you bought the time-care from a store. I think EA actually sells them. Try this link, but I think you may need to create an Origin account.
  3. I wasn't expecting more. For the longest while I was happily staying away from all the hype and then I was invited to a Beta Weekend and was amazed how great the game felt to me. Naturally I subscribed and had fun ever since!
  4. MMO's aren't Banks, Game Development companies aren't banks. Game Publisher companies aren't banks. MMO's are constantly a work-in-progress. Your analogy isn't suitable in this case.
  5. I'm here, and so's the wife! I've got not problems waiting for the new legacy system and well as the guild bank... just enjoying taking my time and soaking in what I feel is the first true MMORPG.
  6. Which is why it's never a good idea to play just one character to Lv50 focusing on just XP-gain in a newly launched MMO. MMO veterans should know this by now. To the OP, I hope you're also using the Fleet Pass ability you get for free that's on a 20hr cooldown.
  7. This is the innovation in SWTOR and the reason its whole is indeed larger than the sum of all its parts. In my opinion, BioWare is putting the RP in MMORPG. And speaking of opinions: I stopped reading after that "Personally", and thank you for putting it there.
  8. I only Space Bar through quest scenes if I earlier pressed Escape to cancel the conversation and once I restart the conversation when I'm ready to do it, I press the Space Bar to skip lines I already remember from the previous iteration. Other than that, not really.
  9. Just a simple question here to all of you who are already Lv50 and bored: Have you played both Republic and Empire across all 8 classes?
  10. If you call sleep deprivation an accomplishment, you Sir are a failure. At least go deprive yourself of sleep in a Sleep Lab, they'll probably pay for your MMO subscription fee!
  11. If that was true, WoW wouldn't be adding Kong Fu Pandas. All the real Hardcores moved along to MOBA's anyway, it's time to claim back MMOs' by allowing them to grow into MMORPG's! Also, just to bring some math and business into things, if you and I pay $15 per month and in under a month you get one character to Level 50, see there's not a lot for you to do there and foul-mouth SWTOR and leave, while I spend my time having fun with multiple characters which ensures I'll level all of them much much slower than you and exhaust the available content over many more months than you... in the long run, who do you think brings EA/BioWare more money?! Hardcores aren't paying more than Casuals and Casuals are less fickle than Hardcores. Think about that when you say Casuals look up to Hardcores. Pffft!
  12. MMO => Massively Multiplayer Online. Therefore, any game that is played online and allows a group of players to play within a virtual world that can house massive amounts of players at the same time, by definition that's an MMO. Trouble is, some people read more into that definition than others.
  13. Yes. As opposed to characters created during Beta, these characters will carry through Early Access into and post Game Launch.
  14. I'll be re-playing through Mass Effect on the PC.
