  1. It is I had the same issue. The dam email you get sent when you subscribe still says its 50, but sure enough when I hit 51 I could do it.
  2. The Aartan Legacy What is The Aartan Legacy you may ask, well some of you may have listened to our the audio stories we produced before launch or one of the Aartan Away Pod Casts The Aartan legacy is a continuation of the earlier audio stories, but bigger bolder and hopefully more fun, if that was possible. We have re-edited the original dramas into episodes to reflect the new format and as well as the original episodes we now have episode 3 up and ready. Episode 4 will follow next month with more episodes later in the year. They are a collaborative effort by our members to produce a galaxy spanning story of Excitement adventure and myth, using our in game characters to tell a tale of redemption and hope, in a galaxy on the brink of civil war. We hope you will enjoy these stories as we release them over the coming months, we have no set time frame or length, we are doing these for fun, not as a job, but we all enjoy doing them so much I'd expect to see a new episode every couple of months. Its a time consuming process to make each episode and we hope to show you some of the magic from the men and women behind the curtain as we move forward. Who are we? good question, we are members of The Watchers Of Aartan, A Mature, European, PVERP Guild dedicated to having fun in SWTOR, from raiding to RP we do a bit of everything on the Trask Ulgo server. Each Episode will be around twenty to twenty five minuets long and tell the interweaving tales that all combine into the larger narrative. They will be hosted on the Worlds away site for your listening pleasure. If you would like to join our merry band to help out, be it with voice acting, writing artwork or if you have any suggestions please give me a shout. These stories are for the community by the community. If you have any questions please let us know and I hope you enjoy listening to these stories as much as we did making them. Just a note to new listeners, Episode one is mostly history and back story, though beautifully told. The real adventure begins in Episode 2 so you may want to listen to 2 and 3 first and then come back to 1. The Aartan Legacy Episode 1, 2 & 3 Link
  3. Am I missing something, I've read a lot of this thread, by no means all of it, but wouldn't changing the dailies and weekly quests to medals won solve most of these issues? If say you had to get 20 medals to complete your daily and say 150 medals to complete your weekly every game played would increase your total and people would stop leaving, you don't need any penalties, the good players would still get more medals and complete their quests quicker and the poor players, such as myself could still work towards completing the quests without feeling we are letting the side down. It wouldn't be like Ilum where you have 50 imps all trying to farm central for weapons caches and the pubs unable to do anythingh as they don't have the numbers and don't want to be farmed, because the sides would be even. Wins and looses wouldn't affect your progression, bad players wouldn't affect your progression, other leavers wouldn't affect your progression, afkers wouldn't affect your progression, the only thing that would is how well you play. Afkers wouldn't get anything from being in warzones, leavers wouldn't get anything but people who are just starting PVP and are under geared and still learning will progress without holding back the really good people. If randoms go against premades it wouldn't mater as much as your still contributing to your daily, I've constantly lost matches where I had a decent showing in the medal table but still lost and its frustrating. Isn't this a viable solution, have I missed something?
  4. Not sure about this, I'm half way through Hoth and the last time I heard from CR was during his cousin quest on Corusant. I just wish they had tied it to affection and not tried to tie it to the dam story line quest too.
  5. Dear The Management While a very funny response, this is rather an issue for us smugglers who don't get a healing companion until around level 50. Also if the dam Droid isn't supposed to be used as a companion I have a question? Why does he have any healing skills at all and why does he have the Carbonite stream skill that can only be used with a weapon in hand, which of cause at the moment doesn't work? Please Fix him so he is useful to us hard working freighter captains who want to have a healing companion and who are tired of our first mate the wookie who dies if he stubs his hairy toe, or the farm boy who yanks every passing Krayt Dragon onto my head.... Actually scratch that just give us a decent healing companion at or around level 30 when everyone else gets one. Your Faithfully Hacked off of Hoth.
  6. Short answer. No. Long answer NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I really miss this feature from LOTRO where pressing the N key would turn off all the nameplates in one go. Now to take a screen shot you have to go into the preferences and turn them all off. Hopefully BW add this sometime but I wouldn't hold my breath as they have a long list of bugs to fix first.
  7. Thank you very much for the guide, lots to get my head around before I choose an AC.
  8. First a little background, I've just come from LOTRO where I spend 5 happy years playing a Burglar, for those who don't know its a mele based stealth class which sounds much like the Scoundrel AC in TOR. Now while I loved my Burg there were some problems with the Class. Stealth was great fun to level with, but became next to useless in End game due to the very long cool down of our hide in plain site skill that allowed us to get back into stealth while in combat. Also the class was based on positional damage so we had to be behind targets to do our maximum damage. Lastly all our attacks had to be done while standing still and this could be a pain when fights became more mobile and you were having to chase a boss that was being kite tanked. Now with that all in mind I'd like some advice from my fellow smugglers who played both Gunslinger and Scoundrel in Beta, preferably to high level, how do the classes play once you are up there. I've read the nice guides that have been posted here and while they are in depth I'm really looking to someone with experience to give me an idea of how the classes play in a general way during operations and instances. Gunslinger looks like a nice ranged dps and CC option with out the hassle of having to run into mele range or worrying about taking AOE damage during boss fights. So guys which should I choose.
