The fights in normal and hard mode are just fine. Yes, more droids than before... So what? Learn to adapt! More challenges is always better... Easy games are boring!

Either make social orange gear just white gear without mods at all, then we will see IF consulars and inquisitors still will use the actual "social" gear in combats, or make medium/heavy social orange gear versions too... I dont care if a SWTOR Recount thing will come or not. Bosses are getting killed without it and probably will continue. I don't know if i like or not recount, in WoW it helped me to improve my DPS, but also i learned that DPS meters results are not accurate, all depends on the mechanic of the fight. To measure DPS using test wood dummies is so scrub!

The game is awesome! The community as well! Yes, there are bugs and Bioware is working on them. For those haters and/or Blizzard spies employeers, go find something more productive to do, because every doom and gloom thread you create, is just rain of LOL's and /coolstorybro's replies.

I had these insta kills with my group too... So annoying! Even outside the instance: I just had repaired myself and got an insta kill in front the Republic Medical Service. At least seems these random kill does not affect repair bills.

Yes... And i'm really sad if is it true. Like the OP wrote, I also was glad about to still be able to customize our looks and stay viable in end-game. But with these bonus sets: this statement: "...we also made sure of dropping purple Armoring mods of equivalent power as Operation loot. This means that players going the mod route can still take their favorite orange armor and make it as good as a operation purple armor (with some temporary caveats)." From here http://www.swtor.com/blog/some-clarifications-item-modifications Seems null... Otherwise the OP gave a good idea if not implemented ingame yet: or is there a special mod which is buy-able (obviously not on the fleet since I've looked multiple times) with Operation commendations which grants the set bonuses to a piece of custom loot I complete this idea with: if a set bonus gear piece can be exchanged using comendations (PvP, etc.), THIS special mod item with the bonus could be exchanged using exactly the same comendations. What would be just an option for the player: to buy the gear piece or to buy the special item, in both cases the bonus would come! And if we have set bonus pieces dropping from bosses, etc... THIS special mod item should drop as well!
