  1. There's no achievements in SW:TOR ffs, don't think Codex entires are achievements, because they are not, heck, you can't even share them with anyone to show off or anything. Stop spelling it "SW:ToR", there should not BE a lowercase "o" as the word is not "of", it's "Old" !!! ...
  2. Same for me, I get dismounted and have no problem to get back out, EVER. Either the OP is a bit stupid, maybe stand around wondering *** happened, or he might have uber bad connection so the game doesn't know to throw him off the mount until he's WAY inside the evil area (don't think this is possible though).
  3. Nab, I sent my crew to do missions all the time, I never did a single one myself, I bought all skills... and still tons of credits left all the time.
  4. Naaabs! By the time I was level 40, I had all my crew skills maxed (sythweaving, underground and treasure), all maxed by sending out my companions on missions, I didn't do a single one of them myself (like gathering). I had speeder training + 2 mounts and all available abilities bought. When I hit 50 I had 1.5 million credits. All I did was doing WZs and some dailies. I never bought ANYTHING from the AH or whatever it's called in this game. I have full epic gear on both me and my companion and it cost me nothing. I have NOTHING to do with my credits, nothing to spend it on (except repairs, but small amount and very rarerly I need repairs), so it just keeps on pouring in Now after being 50 for some weeks, I have 5.3 million credits, doing the same things. ...
  5. That's the thing. Even if you buy a 2000$ beast, that could exceed the recommended stuff by 5 times, there's still no guarantee you could play the game above 10fps i WZ and on Ilum!
  6. I'm so annoyed with people saying this... seriously, F off! People have been playing on the lowest, done ALL tweaks mentioned like quitting unnecessary processes, running fraps in the back doing ram-drive thingy, tweaking the config file etc etc etc For some of us, this does NOTHING! And yet we can have super mega fast computers playing the latest games on MAX with top fps, EXCEPT swtor.
  7. Yeah, this is the most talked about issue. You can have the latest and fastest computer there is, yet only get like 10fps. Someone else can have a 4 year old laptop and get 30fps. Some people with new and fast computers can have no fps issues, while others with equally fast computers can't get over 5fps. It's the game that is TERRIBLY badly coded. You just need luck whether the game will like or HATE your computer. They say these people with fps problems are only about 5% of the total player base, that can't be true. It seems like most people with fps problems can play games like Battlefield 3 on MAX with awesome fps, but in this game they can't get over 10fps when doing WZs or fighting on Ilum. Personally, I can play BF 3, all on max and it's smooth. In this game I have 111fps on my ship and on the character screen, then 30 in the fleet and 1 on Ilum (when there's 30v30 or so players fighting), and about 5-13fps in WZs. I play all on max except shadows. Changing all to the lowest does next to no difference to my fps.
  8. My pure healing specced SEER solo EVERYTHING with ease. L2P, foo!
  9. Well, as I play a consular, I can only buy the cloth version, so I can only gear ONE of my companions (my other companions wear heavy or medium, so can't get this epic pvp gear for them). So, me and one of my companions are fully geared. I have all BM pieces on my character and full champion + some BM on my companion. I have as a jedi seer (healer tree) 16600 hp unbuffed. I've seen tanks with 22k+ edit, stopped pvping (doing wz and ilum) when I hit valor rank 65.. just wanted the awesome mount
  10. Typical answer. There's many people like me, that are pros at computers and we have tried everything and we DO have crazy fast and overclocked computers. We have all the latest drivers, even tried older ones. We have tried setting everything to the lowest, turning off shadows, even tried all the tips that has been given about having fraps on in the back, ramdrive etc etc. We have tried it all and it makes no difference on the fps. There's a lot of thread about the fps issue. It's simply a GPU problem, the game stops using your GPU when too many players are around. I urge all people with low fps in wz and on ilum, but not anywhere else to have a look at your GPU usage, it should be next to nothing in usage, hence the low fps. But in all other places it's used to max and the fps is 100+.
  11. But this is not how it is. Some people can have tons better computer than yours and get 1-5 fps. Annoying how people with good fps thinks those with lower fps have crap computers or havn't tried lowering everything, BAH!
  12. If you are a regular to this forum or even did a google search, you would find this has been discussed a million times before. Too lazy to explain Ye, I'm angry. But other people have already explained so, good.
  13. Not another thread. Like 90% of the people that have fps issues has it because their GPU isn't even trying. I have 3 computers, all got low fps, like 1-3 on ilum during fights, but 111 on my ship and character screen. The problem is the players, the more players on the screen, the less the GPU is used. When I'm fighting on Ilum or in WZs, my GPU is using like 4%, while I'm in my ship or at the character screen it uses everything. So, it's like this for most of us... the reason for low fps is the game doesn't like our graphics cards..... we do have the latest driver, we can even have everytging set to the lowest and do ALL tweaks and suggestions like lower the viewing distance, having fraps on in the back etc etc.... most of us have tried it all... STILL, the problem is the GPU goes to deeper and deeper sleep the more players that are around. I just went out to nowhere, lots of trees, ALL on max, 80fps, gpu load at max.... then went to the fleet and got 20fps, gpu load at 12%, then to wz, gpu load at 5%, then to ilum and joined a group, about 30 imps and 30 rebels and the gpu was at 1% and I had 1 fps. it's just that the game doesn't like our gfx cards... some people could have 10 times faster machine than mine and still get the same crappy fps... while some with 3 times slower than my machine can get 3 times more fps than me. I can play battlefield 3 all on max and get 30fps. ....
  14. Yeah, this is annoying. Seems like movement is the only thing that resets the AFK timer. I've been kicked many times because I've been crafting, sending out companions on missions, browsing the GTM etc. When I think about it, I'll try to move now and again, but forget sometimes, so when I come back, I have to open the windows again + all text in the chat windows are wiped, which is not fun as I was discussing stuff, linking items etc.
