Thanks. I have been running Veteran Flashpoint. Is 270 enough for Master FP or Story Ops?

I've got an item rating of 270, but every piece of gear I get is the same. Where do I get the better gear?

Yeah, this sounds like it. I've been keeping to Veteran and Story so I can learn the mechanics of the boss fights. I'm glad to hear that I'll be more useful in Master.

I've always played tanks, but this is the first MMO where I really feel like maining a DPS. Maybe it's just Group Finder, but I am tired of DPS just running amuck, using knockbacks into additional mobs / Spamming AoE. Maintaining threat is hard-enough in this game on rotation, especially without me having to run around spamming my taunts and AOE's only to have you die first because it's just not quick enough. I'm getting tired of PvP too. I could get six-figure protection and max valor with a 10 to 1 K/D ratio on top of it, but if I didn't put out a lot of damage, I'm not getting MVP votes. Okay, my venting is over. This is just how it goes with PUG's I guess.

Here is the list of every MMO I've played: Ultima Online Everquest Anarchy Online Everquest 2 World of Warcraft Pirates of the Burning Sea EVE Online Star Wars Galaxies Lord of the Rings Online Runes of Magic Guild Wars SWTOR I've never made it to end game in ANY of these MMO's because I lost my patience quickly and got tired of the grind. I mastered a bunch of professions in Star Wars Galaxies, but that didn't have an end-game really, so I'm not counting that. SWTOR is the ONLY MMO I've actually stuck with until I reached end game, and I have the story-driven class quests to thank for that, because it held my attention until the very end, so massive kudos to Bioware. I think SWTOR will be successful for gamers, like me, who don't particularly enjoy MMO's or who have never played one before.

Huttball is so easy to win that I don't understand why people don't. Send all stealths to enemy zone. Grab the ball. Run down into pit. Pass to anyone in the opponent's endzone.

Looks like I'm just going to continue augmenting my War Hero and pull out a few mods from some EWH and allocate those.

Hello all, I took a hiatus from the game for a while and now I re-subbed. Since the server merge my guild got all split-up so I am without a guild unfortunately. I'm looking for a friendly, mature Ops guild who wouldn't mind showing me the ropes for the new content. No one seems to want to PUG with me on SM EC since I never ran it before. I'm full Columi with four Rakata and a Black Hole piece, Melee DPS.

I'm full War Hero right now, but it doesn't look like the stats for Elite are that much more impressive. The jump from Recruit to War Hero was noticable, but I'm wondering if it's even worth picking up the Elite War Hero or to keep augmenting my current set.

No way that four level 30 nobody scrubs would kill Revan. No way at all. He is definitely alive.

Tactics don't account for anything when Recruit armor is the most useless PvP armor in any MMO on the market.

What exactly am I suppossed to be doing in WZ's with this trash Recruit armor? It is completely useless. I understand this game is all about progression and you need to earn the better gear, but seriously, at least allow Recruit armor to keep you alive for more than five seconds so we don't feel like we're dragging our team down all the time.

There's really nothing I can do in WZ's with this abysmal trash Recruit armor other than stand at nodes in stealth and call out Incs.

Thanks a lot! I'm a bit impatient is all and want to try out the new Ops! I've been running a bunch of dailies since I came back and almost have enough Coms for a Black Hole piece, so maybe I can wait until then, or I find a new guild. Mine got scattered in the.server merge.

Hey everyone. I just renewed my subscription after a long hiatus. I see that there are two new Ops up and some new gear, which is awesome to see on my return. I'm still full Columi, with some Rakata mods mixed in. I'm curious as to what the next step for Ops is for me. I know logically I should be running HM EV and KP for Rakata, but what is EC story looking like for a full Columi these days?

I love my assassin. Deception Assassins are designed for lengthy battles. If you talent correctly, you become stronger the longer you fight thanks to all the insane stack buffs you get. Plus, they're great for burst damage once an enemy's health drops low. You really don't want to go toe to toe against most classes without stunning them for as long as possible. Assassin has a good toolset for this. Spike, Low Slash, Electrocute, Chain Shock, etc. Opening with a Spike, electrocute, discharge w/overcharged saber, low slash, maul and assassinate can really do some quick burst damage, thanks to good buffs to armor penetration and shock that the Deception tree provides.

It's just the one mod that's the problem. Good increase to my armor and endurance, but I'm losing Willpower with this switch.

Switching my Tionese to Columi results in a -8 to power and damage for an additional .60 crit? Is it really worth it to lose my bonus damage for that minimal crit increase? Switching the Columi mod out to the Tionese seems like it would solve the problem, but this just doesn't make any sense to me.

I play on Sith-Wyrm, and there aren't ever any schems on the GTN. Do they drop from trash mobs or the elite droids?

Are these things still dropping from Black Hole mobs? I must spend all of my playtime there and I still haven't gotten a schematic.

Was it really necessaryto perpetuate this myth about the "elusive gamer girl." I don't care if you're a girl and you play game. Honestly, it's not really an attractive quality to me anyway.

Not that they would have done much good anyway. Vader would have tossed them off of the railing too. Would have been a pointless scene.

Best thing you can do is upgrade your computer. You're lucky to be playing at all on a Turion.
