  1. I'd give it a whirl, I think I first dabbled with healing after I'd hit 50, but it might've been just before 50. I haven't tried a full healing spec (so no kolto cloud) , but something like this build is pretty good, in that you still get to dish out a reasonable amount of damage when you're not healing, and still kick out enough heals to be useful. (I'm not sure how accurate that is to my actual build, but you get the idea)
  2. Pretty similar to what I'm running, I think I've got element of surprise over browbeater though. Why the two in Holdout defense? Plugging them into stopping power (rooting the ball carrier if dirty kick/flashgrenade are on cooldown) or homegrown pharmacology (More healing on SRM is always good, EMP needs all the help it can get, especially as it's almost free) would be better, no?
  3. Yea, really missed this yesterday. Like a lot. Both as an "aaw, I liked that noise" and because I don't know if I've got upper hand any more, saw a lot of "requires the upper hand" while trying to spam EMP. Glad to say (pre 1.2) I did get to spend a good part of a voidstar stood next to Captain Obvi'usse (or similar), keeping our defenders up while we giggled to each other. It was lovely.
  4. Dunno, some of the actual jackets didn't look too bad, but the hats are dreadful. At the minute I turn "show head slot" on when I'm in the pvp gear, in the vain hope that no one recognises me in the stupid bloody cape.
  5. There's another thread on here to keep the giggle, I signed that too, because it is awesome
  6. +1 Keep it! As others have said, it lets you know that SRM just critted, and it's funny. Make it an option, yes, take it away, big no!
  7. Yea, if anything, you don't want to be attracting too much attention to yourself, you're pretty squishy. But, what I've been doing, is sneaking in, open with back blast, hit tab to target someone else, kick them in the balls. At this point you have two of the guys out of the fight for a few seconds, you have stun grenade if they get up too early, thermal grenade has knock back which can buy you a bit of time, but generally things die pretty quick. If there's a tough droid (or two), tell everyone to leave it, and you can incap that for a full minute, which is pretty useful at points on the esseles, and mando raiders.
  8. http://db.darthhater.com/skill_calc/smuggler/scoundrel/#::f2ef4ef11e3dece2d2e5fe4f10ef9: I know a million of these probably show up every day, but what do ya reckon? Is that little bit of sawbones worth it? Like is it going to save me when I'd otherwise be toast, or would I be better off ignoring it entirely and getting some dirty fighting? The bonus to cool head would be nice, it's basically more energy to play with, right? I've ignored the +endurance/damage reduction things, is that a mistake? I'm thinking that they'd make a squishy character slightly less squishy, but ya still gonna be pretty squishy, so might as well play to you strengths and kill things faster/sneakier. Cheers for any input
  9. I liked "Legality and me parted ways a long time ago" Or something along those lines
  10. I've seen bits, playing on Lord Calypho, only at level 14 so far. I'm sure once the rush is over and everyone gets a little bored of the actual content, it'll get a bit more widespread. I didn't play much SWG post-some upgrade or another, but I'm sure part of the reason that was so RP-heavy (at least on starsider) is that playing the actual game was a bit of a grind. I spose the ability to create a bunch of your own stuff helped too!
