Hey all, Title pretty much sums it all up. I was thinking that Kalyio in here heavy armour switching between DPS and tank mode might work well..... I have Treek but I'm not sure she can put out enough DPS. I guess the issue lies more around the fact that I'll be leveling a tank above her gear. Any suggestions or am I about there? Regards Lee

I use a G600 logitech mouse and a Razor Tartarus and love the combo. Not experienced any of the supposed issues around the Razor software. I got jack and the beanstalk hands and both pieces of kit fit nicely.

Some of my older characters have a decent amount of comms stacked up, so again, for clarity, my planetary comms will be usuable as the current basic comm for basic gear? Do you know if this will be L60 basic gear or the current L55 basic stuff? (not sure I know what I'm talking about to ask the right question, but i think that is there) Regards Lee

All, Once again, thank you for the fantastic responses.... and again, the detail. I've just run my first Makeb weekly. Apart from the time, it was really easy, which is great. Just wondering now if any of the other weeklies are as easy. Just landed in Oricon and am finding it tough. Though I am seriously undergeared. L49/50 green mods...... Though I just spent 300k on gear that should see me okay seeing as am barely just losing out. I've taken the advice and sent all my toons out to collect and will do so again until I run out of credits, which I think I have around 500k across my characters. Not sure this x12 XP is helping me much as I have no credits and no comms Again, thank you for the terrific response and I'll have to have a read through my own notes (taken from the advice here) again tomorrow.......... All, I really appreciate the feedback and the level of detail is.... wow.... Gonna have to digest all of this. Normally takes one of my threads a few weeks to generate this much information, so my head is about to explode with what has been delivered in one morning. I think there are two things I HAVE to do now. 1. Join a guild (Tomb of Freedon Nadd) 2. Continue to run dailies with the characters that can walk them easily enough. Thanks for all the detailed replies. I'm not entirely sure that I'm going to have the time to grind one characters worth of armour let alone the 4/5 L55's I have. I'm certainly interesting in getting one there though, I so I guess I'll have to pick soon. How do I get to a point where I can craft the higher level items. Are the green versions available on the vendors/trainers or do I need to purchase the blue/other colours from somewhere else? I use this regularly as I am leveling up some of my characters. The trouble, based on my interpretation, is that it doesn't really account for a casual solo player. Though, I'll happily stand corrected. I have done this a few times with success however the concern I have is not for me but whatever group I land with. Can you imagine how you'd feel if you have queued for 10 minutes only to have your tank leave 10 minutes in to change a nappy! (It's happened more than once ) This is correct. I am about to start re-leveling my Powertech and thought about switching him from Scavenging (310), Slicing (400) and Investigation(316), but those are fairly well advanced skills. I'm set up in the following fashion: Reggad. Assassin (55) Biochem 401 Bioanalysis 450 Diplomacy Draxar. Sorc (48) Main Biomaker Biochem 423 Bioanalysis 438 Diplomacy Ammir. Sniper (55) Armstech 410 Scavenging 400 Slicing 400 Snapster. Powertech (29) Scavenging 310 Slicing 400 Investigation 316 Bigbilly. Jugg (49) will likely take him to 55 this weekend. Cybertech 450 Scavenging 400 Underworld Trading 315 Ralusnoc. Sage (55) Biochem 405 Scavenging 450 UNderworld Trading 450 Hope that helps

thanks for the prompt reply. I was concerned that as a casual player it would be NEXT christmas that I might purchase something with daily comms. I do have some high level crafters (400 ish). I can make modifications (armour), barrells and biochem. Sadly I'm not rich either..... not going well this thread

Hi, I love the game but one key thing it requires I can not deliver which is grouping. Thus I find myself with a growing number of under geared L55 characters. I will solo queue for warzones and also run the dailies solo. I can not commit to groups due to family commitments (am likely to get called to change a nappy at any time). How can I gear my characters up? What sort of gear should I be looking for? Classic? Oberan etc etc? Do I need to dedicate some time to a single character and just grind him through dailies and warzones etc? Really need some help on this. Please remember, I very very rarely group. Hi. An older thread of mine but the question still stands. I have a few L55 characters now and either solo queue for PvP warzones or run the dailies. Assuming that I focus my time around one of the characters, what is the best way to get gear for PvP and, separately, PvE. Is it a case of just running daily after daily and running warzone after warzone or is there some 'art' to it? I really do not group (due to time and commitment issues - family are like to pull me away to change a nappy etc). Regards LAM

Thanks... was just there, so Ill head back. Does it come with an ability to 'transport' there? and are the character inventories linked ie... you dont have to stand in the stronghold. Regards Lee

Hi, I'm thinking about rolling one of the above and want to understand what some of the fundamental differences are. On the surface they appear somewhat the same..... sneak... attack... sneak off..... (though i appreciate that is from a person that has played neither. My 25% XP boost didnt work...... I got exactly what the mission said I would. A new missions has started whilst the boost is active so I'll see how this one works but the previous mission, which started before I took the boost, didnt work. LAM

I had posted a little to soon into the thread I seem to have three types of XP boost in my Inventory: Complimentary Major Complimentary Minor Major Am I right in thinking that only the Major would work? *edit* Assuming a certain user was a little 'tight' would useing the boost JUST before collecting the reward work or does it need to be for the duration of hte mssion?

Hi, I'm struggling to find any recent posts pertaining to the above. I have no idea how the above works and it if is worth investing any time in or not. To add to the confusion I have pre-purchased the new update and am running with 12x XP on class missions at the moment. So..... How does it work and then, should I bother? Regards LAM

It was my understanding that the XP boosts (25% ones) did not stack with the 12x boost. I have a good stack of those in my store and am not using because. Do they stack or not? Regards LAM

Interesting....... I've generaly use Treek on tank mode currently but a few of you mentioned putting her into heal mode..... If in battles I rarely have to worry about health, would it be beneficial keeping her in tank mode or switching to heal? Regards LAM *EDIT* Treek is much better in heal mode. Hi, I generally run with Treek on all my characters but am beginning to wonder (based on nothing) if she is still the best? In a DPS character I will normally set for tank role and tend to roll with Commando gear.

I'm trying to keep the community together. It's good to share and people feel empowered when they help people.......... or something like that. What I don't get is when people, who know the answer, write a longer message about not putting effort in when the answer was shorter........ Annoying.
