  1. OP - Bads and those that only play FOTM will tell you the class is aload of crap now, and to reroll. The thing with rerolling is that in 3-6 months time the nerf bat WILL swing again, & the class you rerolled maybe the next in line... Then what will you do? QQ & scream out that your class is aload of crap now and reroll? Stick to the PT its more than viable... its still does great damage only time will tell if its is viable for RWZ's, but in all honesty the best will always have a spot in a RWZ team. Operatives/Scoundrels got a huge nerf over a year ago but the pro players adapted and stuck to their class.... the Good concealment Operatives/scrapper scoundrels do disgusting amounts of damage their opener is devastating!

  5. The Nerf isn't that bad.... still top the damage charts... it’s just harder to kill skilled healers. Once the QQ has died down the True Vanguards & Powertechs will remain and the mugs who only play FOTM classes will move on to Snipers/Gunslingers, then in 3-4 months when Snipers/Gunslingers get nerffed they will move again…. Such is the way of things. The best players adapt, they will either realise that we now have to assist DPS rather than being able to pull a healer, stun them dot em up and 1-2 shot them. (which was OP) I still love my Powertech and love the new AOE dot through flame sweep It’s still viable and like I said once everyone calms down abit they will realise that the nerf was needed. Although I admit it was slightly ‘overnerffed’ More of an irritant than a OMG my class is f**ked…!!!111!!! I QUIT If worst comes to worse everyone will just roll Advanced Prototype/Tactics

  7. I Read a few posts recently in the warriors section of the Forum regarding lightning based attacks and when/if the warrior will ever get them. Well I thought I would add my two cents but put it in the suggestions box as-well-as the warrior section. At the end of the Sith Warrior story line I’m supposed to be both feared and revered across the galaxy as the Emperors Wrath. A title bestowed by the bigman himself, I’m supposed to be one of the most powerful Sith in the galaxy in both Martial Prowess and my ability & command of the force. Yet I can’t blast my enemies with lightning, (the red lightning crackles on Smash do not count) I mean actually conjuring up a ball of lightning and shooting someone in the face with it. I’m not suggesting we get a new ability as I think it will be too late to rework it in for the expansion but maybe a change to an animation of an existing ability whether it be a damaging ability or a utility skill. For Example: Immortals 31 point skill Crushing Blow instead of hitting someone without light saber we could fire a short burst of lightning at the target(s) something akin the Assassins Discharge ability while Dark Charge is active The Vengeance 31pt skill Shatter instead of the acrobatic leap and then striking with our lightsaber how about we again fire a short burst of lightning at the target, and having the target crackle of lightning every time the bleed effect ticks. Rage’s 31pt skill crushing blow the animation of the hand reaching out at the target is already in place… how about we just add a little lightning to it, and then again like my suggestion for shatter have the target crackle with lightning every time the bleed effect ticks. My other suggestions would be that for our force taunts instead of the single target “beckoning” with our hand how about we fire a bolt of lightning at the target? And aoe lightning instead of an aoe shout? For Intimidating roar we fire AOE lightning that stuns our targets? I haven’t suggested we replace force scream for a lightning effect as I love the sound of the force augmented roar and I love the animation. As for Marauders how about instead of the dual saber throw (which I do love the animation for) we fire two bolts of lightning instead? Crippling throw again lightning instead of a sabre throw? Gore animation could be reworked so that instead of stabbing the target we melt their armour with lightning? For Annihilation bleeds effects on a target instead of the “smoke effect” maybe the target could crackle with lightning? Vicious throw again lightning instead of throwing the sabre? I’m not asking that every single one of these ideas are used…. Well actually I am but at least some of them would be nice. Anyway that’s my two cents would like to hear some other ideas maybe even a Dev’s response on whether we will ever get lightning based ability’s or if we are all just pee’ing up a rope asking for them?   9. Force Accuracy has a base 100% so u dont have to worry about that. melee accuracy wont drop past 90%.

  11. Maybe noones replying coz a good Marauder doesn't use EZ moder specs like Rage Tee Hee Nah im just messing each to their own and all that! But to answer ur Question most... not all .. will drop all accuracy and crit for power and surge do that and u'll have ur answer... I personally couldnt tell you what the stats look like as im Min/Maxed for Carnage & Annihilation.

  13. Alot of healers over heal and if they are unguarded by a tank will spend alot of the time running around in circles healing themselves due to the two Marauders up there ***. I vote for objectives... I vote for the poor guy who sacrificed his own enjoyment of the game to stand at a door or node for an entire game on his own while the rest of us wreck face... I vote for the person that contributed the most to the team... not the person who put up the highest numbers.

    It cant possibly go live...! Even if they are supposed to be "bolstered" to recruit gear stats its not enough I would feel a complete c*nt to come up against a lvl 30 in quest gear in a Warzone a have to then destroy him... it wouldnt be fun for either of us 30-49 need there own bracket.
  16. You use it to proc Rail Shot if u are Pyro spec.... other than that as people mentiond already you use it as bait for an interrupt. At lower lvls you use it as a filler in your rotation. These are the only 3 reasons i can think of anyways...

  18. Why would someone want to fit so many massacres into the Gore 'window' ? he should of been using ravage then a force scream or 3 massacres at most then a force scream. Or was he just trying to prove a point?
  19. Hey, Not sure if you managed to find the answer out already so...... PVP set bonuses are on the WH Armouring & the BM shell so the only way to get the Vindicators set bonus is through WH armouring. So what you will need to do is get yourself 4 pieces of the WH Vindicators set pull the armouring out & pop them into a moddable piece of gear. It doesn't matter which 4 pieces you choose but they will need to be 4 different pieces as Head piece armourings can only slotted in another moddable head piece etc.etc... BM gear will be obsolete after the next patch so save your comms until then. Hope that helps!
  20. You are quite right! Force Scream & Smash are also "Force" based abilities but should only be used as fillers in an Annihilation rotation. Annihilate and Ravage are Melee attacks and your bleeds will be critting alot anyways due to current crit rating + speccing into 'Juyo Mastery' & Berserk will make them Auto Crit! That being said its always going to boil down to what you prefer, and what makes you feel comfortable when playing. You have the right idea. and there are no such thing as "older" or "younger" gamers only good and bad ones

  22. The heals from Annihilation crits wern't enough to keep a full ops healed up even before there were nerffed... In LOTRO burglars could open up Fellowship moves or CJ's as there were also called and this could be used to fully heal a Group/Raid depending on the combo you hit. You could hit one to gain a huge burst healing or power restoration or a huge HoT... or a mixture of the two. I done a few 6 man instances of all burgs and another with all captains :-) was alot of fun but totally different mechanics to SWTOR

I only read the first page so forgive me if someone has already mentioned this: Assuming your of similar skill and gear as a marauder you bump into during a WZ all you need to do is pop a cd and kite or do what ever it is you normally do... keep an eye out for his undying rage buff and then cc him/her, take two steps back wait for his/her buff to drop then carry on till their dead... You'll only have problems if you panic and loose your sh*t altogether & spam all ur CC's in one go... Marauders are just as easy to kill as any other class..... Try and get the jump on them first usually the person who instgates the fight tends to win... assuming your skilled and geared ofc!
  24. Only thing that i can add to this thread is to spend your planetary comms at the equipment/modification vendor rhat way you can keep your gear on par with the content of each planet
  25. on a side note once you unlock deadly saber a simple rotation would be Force charge > deadly saber > battering assault > rupture > ravage or viscious slash if ravage is on cd. So to answer your original question you have the right idea and are making good with skills you have at your disposal.
