  1. Yeah, if you sign a two-year mobile contract.
  2. 4 hours? It's only been two. The servers went down at about 2 AM CST and it is now 4:08 AM CST.
  3. Nope, cancelled my DCUO subscription in February. Could always get back on now that it's F2P I suppose, but I have zero interest.
  4. Right. The launch was a "fail" because some people didn't get into early access from day 1? I've seen MMOs that launched where nobody could get in for close to three whole days and when the servers did come up were subject to massive lag spikes and random restarts. This was a pretty good launch considering.
  5. Oddly enough it is, you will eventually get to the point where you don't care about people's language and just answer his or her question. Bizzare, I know, but adults can get like that. To OP: Stephen Reid mentioned on his Twitter account the possibility of new servers tomorrow, so I'd say it is likely.
  6. They do exist. You can even get crossfired 6990s in laptops now. Make no mistake - these are BIG laptops. But they do indeed exist. http://www.dell.com/us/p/alienware-m18x/pd ^ Configurable with crossfired 6990s
  7. What keyboard layout do you have? Standard US Layout has \ on the right-hand side above the enter key. Don't know about others. edit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:KB_United_States-NoAltGr.svg
  8. It feels like a console port because there's one key you can't bind and you get bad FPS in caves? I wish this was the standard for a bad console port. We would be getting much, much better ports if that were the case. Also, I'm getting 35+ FPS in all areas on max settings with a three-year-old GPU.
  9. 3 is the correct answer. Source: playing the game.
  10. Played several MMOs myself. What 'better MMOs' have this feature?
  11. Your CPU might struggle playing it, but it isn't as important as your video card. It is a dual-core CPU, so it won't refuse to run as it would on a single-core CPU. Need to know your video card before making any kind of recommendation.
  12. Well, if you're not the best with computers, you would probably not necessarily know if you had a 'real' computer. There are still computers being sold with integrated graphics that won't run this game, and if I didn't know much about APUs I too would probably be concerned with whether or not that computer could run it as well.
  13. Your computer is fine. You won't get the best framerate and will probably have to keep your settings mostly on low. But other than that, you should be fine.
  14. The reasoning is perfectly sound. The number of people who signed up for a guild beforehand are a very small minority.
  15. Nope, not true. The early beta servers were all in Austin, but the servers now are located in Santa Clara, CA and Ashburn, VA. You will get very different latency connecting to east coast or west coast servers.
  16. Probably has something to do with these forums. If Shell or Chevron had forums with big, active communities, you can bet there would be similar styles of complaining found over there too.
  17. Makes me glad I've got push e-mail set up on my phone so I don't have to sit there clicking a button over and over again like some 19th century gent clacking away on the telegraph machine.
  18. What latency do you have in-game? You can see it by scrolling over the bars on the lower-left portion of the minimap. I've personally not had any problems. 80ms ping playing on a West Coast server from Central Texas.
  19. Yeah, I'm sure the University of Pennsylvania's website is a real danger zone...
  20. That would force BioWare into a preset early game access schedule that they cannot stray from.
  21. It really is a spectacle. When BioWare laid out their strategy in the dev post yesterday, it made sense to me. Reading that paper, it makes even more sense. The only thing BioWare failed at IMO is letting people who haven't gotten in yet post on the forums.
  22. ...and when they charge you for the game in a couple days, they will charge you $55 instead of $60.
  23. The pre-order program only started 5 months ago. But in case you meant that, your friends should check to see if they actually have access to the game instead of relying on an e-mail that could have been sent to a junk mail folder, accidentally looked over, lost in the void, etc.
  24. No. Like others have posted, your product code and your pre-order code are not the same thing. I pre-ordered the DDE off of Origin and got in on the very first wave.
  25. The game has plenty of water. You just can't swim in it.
