  1. Everyone is when it comes to dragging items or abilities to your ability bar... Kind of impossible to not use your mouse when you want to do that.
  2. Are you running as a different user account because your account doesn't have admin privileges? If so, look in the admin account's user profile.
  3. Ranged tanks don't really exist in this game. Even Powertechs and Vanguards have to be within reasonable range for most of their important abilities. They are the closest thing to ranged tanks in this game, but I still don't know if I would call them that. As for sniper, that is a DPS-only AC.
  4. This, although I have seen key fobs for similar systems still working even though they were made way back in 1999. Battery life isn't going to be a concern for these things for a while at least.
  5. Pretty sure that they don't. At least, it's never happened to me and I've never seen it. The game probably removes the player's face like most games that have equippable helmets.
  6. I'm sure there are also plenty of people who say the opposite of that.
  7. Q6600 @ 2.4 GHz GTX 280 w/ 1GB VRAM 8GB RAM Can play on max settings. Average about 35 FPS.
  8. You got one. I don't get how people think a lack of free-roaming space options is uncharacteristic of BioWare. How many BioWare games have had free-roaming space combat? Now how many games have had space combat mini-games similar to this one? The answer to the former is zero, while both KoTOR and Jade Empire had on-rails shooting segments. In fact, space combat in this game is very similar to the airplane minigame in Jade Empire. EA bought BW over two years before Dragon Age came out. I will also point out that BioWare had stopped making PC games entirely and had outsourced all of their PC game ports from 2003 until just after they were bought out by EA. If anything, they have been more PC-friendly since being bought out.
  9. Well, obviously it would be easy for them to allow add-ons if they programmed the add-on framework into the game. Just like how it would be easy for them to release an expansion pack tomorrow if it has already been created. Point is, creating such a framework is an incredibly exhaustive process and also needs to stand up to a ridiculous number of security audits.
  10. I wouldn't. http://www.extremetech.com/computing/80294-gaming-performance-windows-vista-sp1-vs-xp-sp3/6
  11. 1 is probably intentional and not a bug. 2 has happened to me once before. 3 isn't a problem for me. 4 has happened to me about four or five times in the past.
  12. Pretty much 95% of the problems people ever had with Vista were solved by companies releasing better drivers and SP1 a year later. No reason to downgrade to XP from Vista IMO.
  13. If you press ESC 3 times, it will exit out of the window. You don't have to click to close it.
  14. Well, we usually get most of what's in the patch notes and it's probably the closest thing to what the OP was asking for.
  15. You mean the patch notes for the next patch? It's usually a sticky in the PTR forum. The one for the upcoming patch is here: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=260938
  16. Because of the insane amount of butt-in-chair time required for such a feat... I think you're OK, dude.
  17. I'd hope there would be something like that eventually. Not sure about sending companions out on missions, though. It would have to depend on the implementation. And there is no "Windows 7 Mobile." It's Windows Phone 7. Although it's usually just called Windows Phone since it's on 7.5 now. /nitpick
  18. I wasn't flaming at all. I was just making my own comment. I didn't quote anyone when I made that post, so I'm not sure how I was flaming anyone when I made it. But to be honest, I'm not sure if telling people not to discuss opinions with others on a discussion forum really works.
  19. YES. And if you made it to level 50 and still say no, I'd like to know how many other "bad" games you invest over 100 hours in.
  20. It's 1.1000000238419, not 1,1000000238419. Even then that number wouldn't be a million though.
  21. QFT. People compare this game's launch to WoW's launch. Then people say that you can't make such comparisons because SWTOR is competing with the WoW of now, not the WoW of the past. Well, duh. But the thing is, that isn't even the point. Back when WoW came out, there were plenty of well-established MMOs that WoW also had to compete with. It didn't seem to cause it any significant problems even though Everquest was way less buggy and had a ton more content than WoW did in November 2004. And as the OP pointed out, WoW had a much rockier launch period than SWTOR did.
  22. The first 3 months after any MMO launch are filled with a billion jillion bugfixes and additions. The MMOs that don't have this pretty much end up DOA.
