    It still is around strokerhontis, and im playing it more than this excuse for an mmo. this is more like a single player ,once you hit lv50 you either sit around waiting for an expansion or redo the whole lot with an alt. This is a star warsy version of wow at the moment and its not doing a brilliant job either.

    Ive just unsubbed for pretty much the same reasons as the op. Hopefully I will come back but in all honesty at the moment im just not enjoying the game as id thought. He has put up valid points and certain things do need addressing sooner than others as many people are not happy with certain aspects of the game

    ^^ rose tinted glasses? still got mine on then as im playing it still on emu. Im on the test server and have had more fun and interesting stuff in two hours than I have had on tor in days. Theres actually more activity and multiplayer than this single player game.

    The social aspect ,housing and items and crafting system of swg. More free roam access Better space combat so its not like some 80s spectrum game

    No, I hate it ...go into a warzone or huttball and basically get a few shots off before im stunned and stunned and then stunned more followed by death. I even made an alt as a sith warrior to have a go in pvp but I got bored of his storyline..

    Logged in..logged off. Doing some alts both reb and imp but now the wow factor has died down on the game its getting a bit repetative and dull. Reinstalled swg emu yesterday on my new laptop so think I will be spending more time on that. Will still come and get spanked on in warzones but thats about it im thinking, this feels more single player than an mmo

    Interesting... wonder why thats been done? I disagree with the last part though as im a diver. If any of my lot drown they dont get up in time for air!! if they do then theyre pretty knacked anyhoo as dcs will get them

    Was my first thought on this. If for some reason you get on a team with others who "pwn at pvp" and believe you are inferior and no good to them then you could be kicked and then unable to get back into a warzone for several minutes... could be used in bad ways if you ask me

    I have never left a wz due to the fact that theres no point, if you lose you lose. So what if youre teamates suck, you probably do too but are far too amazing a player to realise. I suck at it as im lv 50 and didnt (my fault) realise I needed to really play before 50 to get all the armour etc id need when going in. So now im pretty much getting spanked all over but hey ho its part of the fun

    I dont think Id class this game as having "crafting" you literally dont have to do anything really bar buy/scavenge/collect the stuff required. The rest is just a click and leave. You dont even get a choice (as far as I know) to try other ingredients to make a unique formula of something. It couldnt be any more basic than it is. As you can guess im not a fan of it at all

    Amazon still selling copies for £9.95. I got mine with loads of other star wars pc games for £5 off ebay last year (last feb to be exact). I have just reinstalled swg emu on my new laptop and just enjoyed a hour on it. I will be playing both games still but in all honesty....swg will be the favourable game to play.

    Spoff I feel the same. I miss swg so much and have tried to love TOR , problem is it doesnt feel as star warsy or near as good as swg was. I dont like the space missions as it doesnt give you much to do bar move left/right and shoot. The maps are too linear and no way open enough to free roam. I feel railroaded into having to go only one way. I also still miss the crafting massively

    Agree, and thanks for posting the link...awesome to watch again, I was actually playing the emu whilst on swg but stopped. I will get it all set up again and see you on there

    coffee by the gallon. on the sofa with the tv on. Always handy having those long waits for battlezones for a quick smoke/wee or drink making break!!

    I dropped a 400 skill to take up something new. Its good as its something extra now for me to do. The only thing is having to go back to the low level planets to gather the resources as they are way overpriced on the gtn

    Crafting in swg was the best in any mmo. It wasnt technical once you got the hang of it. I used to love being a chef in that game and having to get the resources then craft the schematic etc, Id like to see a more complex system introduced to this game. Even if it was in a new class such as merchant . Id definately have an alt in this class.

    I levelled with my dps mando (grinding pvp out now) and so started a few other "alts" ,one is a smuggler gunslinger and I have noticed that this is far more overpowered than the commando AND the companion I have is so amazingly good it puts all the ones commandos get to shame.
