  1. Gotta tell you, I've played bf4 a lot, and wow, it's the same with WoW, just like in WoW, you can surely kill two to three of less skill, depending on your class. I see ops do it all the time, I've done it plenty on my Sniper.
  2. Ah, LoS, greatest rival of the Sniper/Slinger
  3. I find that hard to believe, I kill other snipers/ gunslingers without much effort, except for a choice few, and then it's always fun to see who gets the jump on the other. Same with Vanguard/PT. Skill has plenty to do with it, people who complain, I assume aren't as skilled as they thought they were? Who would know.
  4. I don't have too much trouble putting Operative healers into panic casting on my sniper. *shrug*
  5. Depressing when pvp'ers in your game don't want skill to be the main factor in pvp.
  6. I actually have to agree, this game has gotten excessively boring, and is down to dailies/weeklies. I consider Nightmare raids as a weekly. They're just so freakin easy. We've lost half our guild, replaced them, lost more, replaced them, it's getting tiring. Playing a game with no difficulty is pure boring. I can't understand why people love repitition so much, that it's come to this. I'll give 1.2 a shot, but if it's the same difficulty, I'll just have to just do rated bg's or quit if they don't bother balancing.
  7. First of all, it's a nerf for everyone, some more than others. Particularly those with talents for so. And didn't you know? This is a pvp only game. The pathetically easy ops should be an indicator.
  8. Go to General Forums, Suggestions sub forum.
  9. ^ took the words out of my mouth... or fingers whatever
  10. That is not even remotely close to what the tooltip says. It says reduces the defenses further, defense = dodge/parry = increases your chance to hit with normal attacks basically. It's pretty useless.
  11. http://sithwarrior.com/forums/Thread-SWTOR-formula-list?page=32 It is in fact a huge nerf. And we have to pretty much just take it. Since itemization is awful.
  12. Play a vanguard, then go play a powertech, then come talk to us.
  13. I am getting a little worried about bioware's consistent bad decisions as of late, but give it some time, they just need time to fire mythic and get the game on track ^^
  14. Bot gonna read the whole thing but a few notes, 90% of the people here wouldn't be here if it was a sandbox, secondly, the game just came out, no **** we ran out of content, it's either make people grind or make it consumer friendly, they went with the trusted true, make game for casuals, that Blizzard has turned WoW into. It has the same amount of instances as any MMO has ever had when they started, more actually. People need to be patient or step away from the game for an hour or 2. On that note, the only thing that would fix endgame is difficulty, simply put things are too easy, thus people are finishing the content well sooner than they'd want. But what can Bioware do really, they're in a complainer's market, and had to match the difficulty of WoW's current raid situation. If they didn't all you'd see is crying about how hard Ops are.
  15. Inc, people saying they want damage meters, and getting the, OH MY GOD WE DONT NEED THEM, IT'LL SHOW IM BAD AT MY CLASS AND DONT PULL MY WEIGHT! Sadly the not so good at mmo players are right, with this game so **** easy, we don't need them, but we sure want them! Us good players need to flaunt our superiority
  16. Well he clearly doesn't have a life, he asked a logical question, if he did he wouldn't have legacy 50, not to say it's a bad thing, plenty of MMO players don't, they just choose to pvp/level alts and the like as opposed to staring at your computer screen grinding 12 hours a day.
  17. It's probably because this game is easier than any other mmo, and requires no coordination, just a guess. You can take those same geniuses and do nightmare ops atm, with fairly little work.
  18. Tbh, I think they're just trying to get rid of their raider and pvp population, all changes I seem to see tend to point to that, a game for casuals is fine, just probably won't keep my sub if they continue with lame decisions. I'd honestly just be happy if they made content remotely hard
  19. This whole patch is just a joke tbh, but this change is the worst of them all, just awful
  20. We gave general numbers, mobs and ops bosses with which to test, council in particular, we have spreadsheets and simulators, all of which one common opinion among good players and theorycrafters, AP is inferior
  21. That is entirely untrue, my alt is a level 50 sorc healer, while they don't consistently kill me, I'm talented to protect myself, it's trying to keep people up who literally die in seconds, even with gear, unless their stun break is up. You can't have burst like that in pvp, end of story.
  22. Suggestion thread is above.
  23. Why would anyone care what a level 30 has to say on the matter? Both specs are fine for levelling, we're talking Op'ing viability and doing max damage in an OP environment. Posts like this are detrimental to the post, as it isn't useful and has no logical backing.
  24. Simply put, sorcs dot everyone and can sit back and push out consistent damage. Simply put, Ops did way too much burst if they were good and biochem. Killing healers every time if their stun break wasn't up. Damage =/= burst, simple as that. For pvp they needed a straight nerf no question. If you were complaining about getting screwed for pve, that's another story.
  25. AP is fine for levelling, and is extremely obvious what points to use. As to what you quoted, simply put, you play with unskilled dps, no reason a sorceror or marauder should be outdamaged by a AP BH, the math simply shows it's about 200dps less at least than pyro, and all of us who have tried both and are actually raiding nightmare etc, know from testing AP is inferior. AP is much more fun, but still, inferior.
