  1. That's really great news! I assumed this was the cas when it was said "...regional servers...", however it is good to know this is true. Where exactly is the servers in Australia? Considering it is not just for Australia, however lower asia, and New zealand, i would assume it would be in a relatively central location, or a major hub, leaving me with 3 likely places. Sydney, Adelaide, or Darwin. Is it any of these?
  2. Personally, i believe that the way that the tanking works is very well made, except for the Shadow class, which i beleive lacks some mitigation, and im sure others agree.
  3. I would like to know about balance changes to the Kinetic Shadow. Firstly, basing a class, especially a tanking class, off RNG (Random number Generator) is not a good idea to start with, as it leads to being overpowerd 20% of the time, and the other 80%, underpowered. Then, we get nerfed, and a crucial 50% RNG, gets changed down to 30% (Particle Acceleration) Secondly, it has been mathematically proven, that Shadows have the least threat generation, compared to the other 2 tanking classes, for AoE situations. Thirdly, In PvP, it has also been mathematically proven that The Vanguard and Guardian tanks are both greater than Shadows, due to their greater passive, and active mitigations. If you want the proof, it is linked, at the end of my post, however long story short, Mitigation>defense/shielding for PvP. Vang/Guardian can survive in a pack of 6 enemies, with all of them being DPS specced, for at least 6 seconds. Shadows get mowed down in 2 seconds, due to their RNG system, and not having a high enough Mitigation. Overall, we are the worst class for tanking, and also, in the latest patch we have lost some damage capabilities.   6. Hello! I am wondering if living in the Oceanic region could be a reason for low FPS. On average, if no one else in my house is using the internet, i will get around 220ms, (never ever been better than 215) and on peak times, it's around about 235. My computer is overgeared for this game, with: Graphics - GTX 560 CPU - i7 2630QM 3GHTZ Ram - 16GB I'm running everything on max, except tree detail which is at 50% Anyway, i usually get around 30 FPS, and I'm fine with this, however sometimes it either for ~5 seconds, and other times much longer, it goes to under 15, and then rushes to around 5 or under which is near unplayable for that period. This is usually during combat, and especially within the first 15 minutes of logging in to the game. I'm wondering if this is because I live in the Oceanic region, or just a strange issue, which most likely isn't due to my computers specs. *My Drivers are fully updated* Thank you
  7. I actually play Kinetic Shadow. 27/0/14 For me it takes at least 4-5 attacks to break the shield, with those attacks doing rougly 1k DPS. So no, you are not trading 1GCD for 1GCD, and EVEN if you are correct, which I am 99% sure you are not, Also, trust me, there have been times where i have been 4 sec stunned, and in that time my opponent's health has gone from 20% to 100% Obviously one of these heals is a medpack, so if you take that away, it's about 20% to 70%.

This is not another QQ saying THIS CLASS OP, NERF IT, however more of a thought out, reason for why the 3 classes which are most commonly picked on, and why, and what can be done about it. Considering I Play Republic, I will list most things in Republic Class terminology **Please read the whole topic before commenting ** The following is what people see as overpowered about each class Sage This class has many things which can be considered strong. They have an extremely high potential for Damage, both Single target, and AoE (Especially Single Target with Balance), and a very good level of control around the battlefield. On top of this, they have heals, and a bubble, which mitigates an insane amount of damage, which can give them a chance to go from 10% Hp, bubble, and then reheal themselves up to full within 6-8 seconds. Also, they seem to have a never ending Force Pool. Lastly, they are ranged, which can give an edge, and they do not seem to have any drawbacks that rangeds usually have. Trooper Both Advanced classes have quite a strong potential to do what they wish. Firstly, their Spammable move Gravity round (Tracer missile) is the strongest spammable move in the game, regularly hitting for a bit more than 1.5k, as well as providing a large debuff, and proccing many other abilities which are stronger. On top of this, it has no cooldown, and not a huge resource cost (hence it being spammable). The Commando (Merc) also has heals, and is also wearing heavy armour, which means that they do not die quickly, and then can easily heal themselves back up, and Vanguards (Powertech) does not have the healing, however is EXTREMELY tanky. On top of all of this, they are ranged, with none of the usualy low hp/weak once melee get to them drawbacks. Lastly, both ACs in this class have quite a nice aray of CC Scrapper Scoundrel This spec is considered to be the most Overpowered by many, because they can kill people in under 5 seconds. They pull off a simple knockdown, stun and backstab combo, and kill, or almost kill people, even some reasonably well geared 50 tanks. On top of this, they have heals, however not as effective in PvP as the other classes which have them considering their squishy nature, they cannot necessarily outheal the damage that is being thrown at them. On top of this, they have quite a bit of CC Now, here is the possible reasons for why each class is like this Sage This class is intended to be a mobile nuker class, however many consider it to havetoo much utility, with quite a large amount of crowd control, and the ability to cast bubble on them selves. Trooper This class has many positives, however many negatives. This seems to be a class where to be beated, their weaknesses must be exploited. Their positives have already been mentioned, however not their weaknesses. They are the least mobile class in the game, and to be truly effective, a target has to be focused with debuffs for a bit. Scoundrel Scrapper This class is the burstiest class in the game, and after their initial burst, could possibly very quickly die, considering that they are quite squishy. Even still, these classes seem to be much stronger than the others. Here are some steps which could be taken. Something that 3/4 of these classes have in common is healing. As such, the Trauma defbuff, which reduces healing recieved within 15 seconds of leaving a PvP fight, should be increased in percentage, and a permanent PvP debuff to heals could take place, which would resolve many issues of outhealing DPS. Sage If the above step was taken, getting rid of their Shield would make this class a bit too squishy, and then underpowered, because considering the mobility of melee classes in this game, they would get focused to death Extremely fast, however maybe weakening their shield by 50% when cast on self, and keep it at the same when cast on others, as such to provide support as it is intended to. Either take away their Shield on themselves buff, or reduce healing substantially, or as i mentioned, a bit of both. Trooper As mentioned earlier, a big problem with this class is that they have a spammable which does too much damage, and also procs other abilities, aswell as debuffing the enemy. On top of this, they can also heal, or tank hard, as well as both having heavy armour. As such, if a healing defuff (as mentioned earlier) occurs, it would help the problem of commandos a bit, however, their spammable ability should either stop doing a high amount of damage, stop proccing as much (this would be a difficult change, would involve remaking a class, so not recommended) or nerfing the armour debuff, and just have it as an oh, yay, they have a bit less armour, rather than a key point of play. Scrapper Smuggler This classes only problem is that they have extreme bust damage, and they can 3 shot people in full tanking gear, however this is because MANY level 50 scrappers have 400 Biochem, and have all the buffs. CONSUMABLES IN PVP MUST BE NERFED, and then your problem with the Scrapper being extremely strong would be resolved, with all classes having the same drawbacks, and as such, there should be no one who will whine.   10. 2k People. FML. more than 6 hours queue. If any Bioware rep is allowed to say, what is the player cap atm, and what do you intend it to be?? Some people say atm its 1k, others say 5k. No way to really know except for you guys to tell us.
  11. Oh wow, i just waited for 55 minutes on a queue for 'The Swiftsure' and just as the queue went from 600 to 1st place in the queue, '404 connection error.' Need to restart queue. Soooooo lame, wouldn't there be some sort of recognition system?? I know for a fact my internet connection didn't drop aswell...
