I got a [Prototype] TD-04A Informant Headgear (boe), I think from Trapjaw. It's a red, brown and black cap with chinguard, with purple 28 mods in it. Also a Synthmesh Battle Headgear (bop) which is the same design in blue and black, I think from the Black Box heroic on Tatooine.

Hopefully they'll be easy to identify. Maybe they'll be restricted to lame classes.

It might encourage some world pvp.

I'd probably start by checking the vendors on Dromund Kaas to see if there is something similar. Maybe heroics there or on Balmorra.

Someone said that Kaliyo and Corso used shotguns with defensive stats in some ancient beta. I've seen a few medium pieces with shield on them so i don't know if there was a tank tree somewhere or shields worked differently in the past.

Some dude on Ord Mantell promised my trooper a weeks pay for some mission. It was 50 credits or something. No wonder they're all corrupt.

The level 14 weapon is better than the level 16 orange weapons you can buy for 14 commendations on your capital planet. It's slightly worse than the Hammer Station drops. It's a lot better than what you would be using before 14, a moddable weapon from Black Talon/ Esseles or the end of your starter planet. So unless you are running Hammer Station several times or are crafting purple mods it could last you till nearly level 20.

You can sell them for 1 credit, which i did, and now it won't let me pick one up. Good job stopping that exploit, someone could make 20 credits a day.

If you do your dailies on Belsavis and Ilum you can get boe purple level 49 mods and armourings. Maybe some heroics on Corellia too. I think with free trial to 15 you might be able to gear up to all purples with a bit of crafting for not too much time and credits.

It would have some strange effects with people you killed in one class storyline being alive in another.

It's great when you see the purple beam of light and it's a stupid piece of legacy armour.

You might be able to transfer to a different server to free up a slot. That may be as bad as deleting it though.

There was one on Belsavis who didn't like the Republic. Mind you he had been in stasis for decades.

You can RE crafted battlemaster though.

It might have some interesting effects on pvp. I know someone will try to kit themselves out augmented gear and purples and try to make up for having hardly any abilities. It could provide a market for crafters making level 15 purples and people killing champion mobs on dromund kaas.
