They will restore your character if you put in an in game ticket. You will have to give the following information in the ticket.... Character name Character level Advance class of character What server was the character on when you deleted it It will also help if you put "Saturn" as the heading of the ticket. This will help the ticket get in the hands of the people that restore characters. The process can take over a week, but as little as a few days. I think restoring the character is quick, but it does take some time before your ticket is seen by someone that can restore your character.

I was in a Huttball match and saw a player pass to his teammate that was in stealth. It had to of been a glitch or hack. The stealth player was able to sit at our goal line undetected the whole game. His stealth was not broken until a full second after he had caught the ball. It sucks when it happens, but I have only seen stuff like this once or twice since the game came out.

I have a low lvl toon that is Synthweaver. I do not think the toon will be lvl 50 by the time 2.0 comes out. I already bought the schematics for some Elite War Hero gear, and I was wondering if the schematics will still be usable after 2.0?

When the game first came out CS would always answer my tickets within 24 hours. A year and some change down the road I will have to say that this game has the worst CS I have ever seen. If you call in then you will be on hold for an hour. The person you talk to is difficult to understand. The person seems to be reading for a quick fix bullet point, and they do not seem to have a full understanding of the game it self. Eventually you can talk with someone more knowledgeable, but that means you will have to go back on hold for another hour. If you put in a ticket now it could take a week for them to get back to you. The response now-a-days is almost always a prepackaged quick fix, and then you never hear from them again even if the problem is not fixed. This means you have to put in another ticket, and of course that means you have to wait another week for a response.

The OP has exaggerated quite a bit about Imp vs Pub in the lowbie bracket on Pot5. I have been leveling an Imp toon on that server. I have only been doing Class quests and PvPing. So needless to say I have to do a ton of PvP before I can move on to the next planet. I do agree a lot of the time its is Imp vs Imp, but when we do square off on the Pubs, we usually beat them. I will say that it seems later at night, around 10PM EST or so, I see a rise in the quality of Pub players and a drop in the quality of Imp players. I have lost my fair share of WZs to the Firestorm guys as well. Yet even with all that, the Imps still seem to crush the Pubs in lowbie PvP the majority of the time.

I hate when people say "But you can just rip the mods out" that is not the point. Why should I have to pay 100's of thousands in credits to rip mods out of end game gear? The point is that you should want to wear the endgame gear. I do not think the vast majority hate ALL over the top gear. I just think the vast majority hate over the top gear that does not fit the essence of the class. In WoW a Warrior will have massive shoulder pads, and rightfully so. The Warrior wears heavy plate armor. To me a Warrior having huge shoulder pads and a helm with big spikes fits the world and his role. Look at the Inquis moth helm and tell me how the hell that fits into any world except maybe Silent Hill or a Todd McFarlane comic. Lets look at the gear that people seem to love... Bounty Hunter (Not including new sets) what does most of the BH gear remind you of? Trooper (Even the new set minus the DirecTV dish the helm has lol) what does most of the trooper gear remind you of? Sith Warrior, what does most of those sets remind you of? BH = Boba Trooper = Clone Wars animated series Warrior = Vader (Vader was over the top, therefore, not many complain about over the top Warrior gear) If the fans of the game like the style of the OT, then give the fans the style of the OT. Bioware has said it publicly that they have heard the fans complaints about the gear, the near future sets (meaning the 2.0 sets) are already in place, but that future sets will be much different. There is no more need to defend the art designers. Bioware has already admitted they missed the mark with the Campaign and 2.0 gear.

The vast majority hate this type of over the top gear. These god awful sets were made along time ago by the same designers that made the god awful Campaign sets. Bioware has even acknowledged it and said changes are coming in the future sets. To be fair I do not think the sets are all bad. It is mostly the shoulder pads and helms. Its fine to have big shoulder pads if you wear heavy plate armor. Two of the more popular sets are the Rakata Trooper and the War Hero Bounty Hunter. Both sets have big shoulders, and they look great. Yet when you see an Assasin/Sorc wearing shoulder pads that are higher than their head, and said pads are made out of spiderwebs or huge blades, then you kind of scratch your head. I guess it is hard to make a good looking helm without going over the top. I loved the Campaign Warrior Devil Helms. They were over the top, but it seemed like a fit for that class. Now you look at the kitty cat and moth helms for the Inquis and you think "***" The helm that really makes me want to move to China is the Bounty Hunter mummy helm. Forget that it is over the top. Forget that it is ugly as all hell. The problem is that one of the eyes are covered up! And covered with an Ace bandage at that lol. Endgame gear is supposed to look bad ***. That BH helm makes it look like you are deformed cripple that lives off of an Imperial disability check.

I downloaded the new driver already. I also read a bunch of threads in the CS forum about low FPS issues. I tried all the fixes that CS recommended. Nothing has worked so far. After reading how many people have had this issue, and reading how nothing has worked for the vast majority of people, I am starting to think that a high end graphics card is needed to play this game on high settings. It is just odd that my GTX 550ti plays most games on high settings just fine, but not this one. Well, at least it has not been enough to play the game on high settings in the past two weeks. In the past I never had an FPS issue with SWTOR.

Yeah, even 30 is fine. Most console shooters run at 30. It still gets down to 10 when there are a ton of ppl around. I just do not understand why this is happening now, and not before.

So I said the hell with it and set everything to max settings.... and the FPS leveled out to 60 FPS in areas with a few a ppl, and 30 FPS in the PvP/GTN sections of the fleet. How in the hell is that possible? The FPS went up in the areas where it used to be terrible, and went down in the areas where it used be great.

The numbers were red... So it is a video card problem. But the numbers were red when it was in the 100s.

I was on the White Nova (No other players close to me) and it hovered around 105.0 (100.0) but when I was on the Viaken (In the GTN section) it was 15.5 (15.0)

I know very little about the inner workings of a computer and how it relates to on screen performance. Just recently I started to see some serious lag on the Fleet and in WZs. I then did a ton of google searches, read a bunch of forum posts, and tried many different things to fix the lag. After all that I still get a ton of lag when there are more than 8 players standing close to me. I was hoping maybe someone could give some feed back on what they think might be causing the lag. I will list some info below... I have a quad core processor Nvidia GTX 550ti graphics card (I think that card has 1GB dedicated) 8GB of Ram The server latency floats between 40ms and 75ms The lag only happens when 8 more people are standing near me The lag still happens with the graphics on the lowest possible settings This is the first time in 8 month of playing that lag has been an issue The lag is worse on the Prophecy of the Five server than it is on the Harbinger (and I live on the east coast) I have tired every troubleshooting idea that Bioware has ever suggested on this forum.

Most of that video was the guys opinions, very few facts. You say no flaming, but the video is full of the guy basically making fun of the game using hyperbole. I watched a few of his other "reviews" and they are just comedic bits in the form a review.

I stopped reading after you wrote "We are paying customers" Being a paying customer only entitles you to the content that Bioware has provided. In no way does it give you the right to any part of the development process. What if every iPhone customer called up Apple and said "Hey fellas, let me see what you have planed for the iPhone 6. Get out your notepad Mr. Apple-Nerd and take some of this golden feedback Ima bout to give ya" Its real simple, you are a video game player, and Bioware is a video game developer. If they develop a theme park MMO, and you do not like it, then you have the right not to buy it. Now if you would like to suggest changes then fine. That is why the forum is here. If you want to play the "I am a paying customer, therefore, I deserve to know everything" then you do not understand how the world works.

I was reading that you get one small or large box per piece. It said that a small box gives 75 comms, and the large box is still unknown.

I do not really use them, but I am just too lazy to rearrange my quick bar, let alone keybind the damn things. I have 27 useful abilities as is. I just cannot find room lol. With that said, I have no idea why they would take them out. Clearly people with better keybind management than me use them. Keeping them around would not hurt anyone. I even forgot they existed until I read the patch notes. I will say that trash mobs are easy in this game, and if you play your class right, you should mow down most mobs with ease and not need the ability. On the other hand I still see no reason to take them out of the game.

It would never happen. A lot of people spend way more than $66 to get that mask. If they sold it for 5000 CCs then they would be throwing money away. Plus it would make all the people with the mask pissed because it would no longer be super rare. I hope they discontinue the Mask after 2.0 and come out with another super rare item. It would be cool knowing that there are only a hundred or so of an item floating around on a server. I like seeing just one Revan mask on sale at the GTN for a silly amount of credits.
