  1. Yes please. I've just started to hit 70 with my characters so I've looked into legacy gear and without outfits for weapons there's a large hole in the system.
  2. Well I didn't believe that they'd take up my suggestion that we should be able to use any companion in any role, but... So clearly sometimes they listen.
  3. I went there with my level 47, but apparently since version 4.0 came out you now need to be level 51 to start the Makeb content.
  4. Double XP is a curse on anyone who actually likes the non-max-level-content and who doesn't want that content to become trivial. If you play during double XP you will out-level your missions very quickly. There is zero challenge to missions even when the same level as the mission. I have to be -2 to even notice that I'm being damaged, -3 for any sort of challenge and -4 for a real challenge, so basically if I play a character during double XP the character is ruined. The joke is also on the designers who went to such pains to balance the difficulty. They talked about it during the recent development blog (altering companions' effectiveness), but did they not know that someone else in the company was making all their work completely pointless by giving us no way to suppress double XP? I wonder if the person who makes the decision to use double XP to promote the game realises the damage it does. It's lazy (because the effort hasn't been put in to give us an option) and irresponsible (because the consequences haven't been thought through). Regarding the general XP acceleration, options for that would be good too. However, TBH I'd prefer to just be able to choose my level cap relative to whatever content I'm playing, whether it's loose mobs on Taris, a heroic or a class mission. I could use -4 for solo and once I'd found a suitable setting for heroics I'd be happy. Then I wouldn't care if I'm level 40 (or whatever) by the end of Nar Shaddaa, because the content would still be challenging. All the content would be open to me – I could play FP's with friends and even hit Social 2 without ruining my class missions.
  5. Is the situation the same, worse or better since version 4.0 please?
  6. If you want to show any leg you have to dress as a slave/exotic dancer. Other than that there are a very limited number of choices that go with no leggings, which leaves a big hole in your armour. There are other tops that can help us avoid feeling like prudes, but AFAIK there's nothing to go with them that shows any leg. Is an entire galaxy meant to have so little variety in its fashion? Please, Bioware, accept that women are three-dimensional characters who deserve a realistic range of choices about how they dress.
  7. This article includes major inaccuracies because of changes in version 4. Given the attention to detail I'd like to see it updated.
  8. A version of this page without the companions' names would be appreciated. I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd like to be able to plan ahead for my crew skills without spoilers. Thanks.
  9. I'm in the same position as everyone else here - I don't want to outlevel my missions, but I'm given little choice short of skipping some of them, which defeats the object of this story driven game. It's quite annoying tbh. I make sure I finish as few bonus missions as possible and I skip some of the optional missions, but on these double xp weekends I can't afford to play at all, which truly sucks as I was just getting back into ToR with a new character and now I can only play 4 nights a week after work (less than a third of my available free time).
  10. There's two reasons this would be a good idea. Firstly they (particularly the chunky belts) tend to conflict with the lightsaber which really looks odd. Secondly sometimes they just look poor, so it would be nice to just have them not show.
