I looked on the forums to see if anyone else came up with this idea and couldn't find anything. - General Tactical usable at level 1 - Increases experience gained by 50% - Either gifted to those of us that have the Victorious Pioneer's armor set or bought with tech fragments from the tacticals vendor on the fleet. This would be a good way to maintain the same XP boost from the VP armor set after level 75. Could even replace the VP armor sets with the tactical.

  4. Same here. I have the same exact bug. My main is broken because of this. I put in a ticket for it recently and Bioware just deleted it with no explanation. They should've at least added this bug to their known issues list, but they haven't. I have very little confidence this will be fixed any time soon. After playing this game for 10 years, I feel like this is the final nail in the coffin for me...unless they actually fix it. Just unsubbed for this bug and for deleting my ticket. If they fix this bug, cool. I'll come back. Otherwise, I'm done. Good luck to you all. <3
  5. UPDATE 2/24/22: I'm officially done with this game. I submitted an updated ticket detailing the most of my characters have been fixed except for my main and tech support straight up DELETED my ticket. No warning. No explanation. No fix. They still haven't included this extremely game breaking bug to their list of known issues yet and I know they're still updating the list with other issues, so they haven't abandoned the thread. I can't use a second combat style with my main character even though I should be able to! This is an extreme deal breaker for me. I've been a loyal, longtime subscriber for 10 years and it's truly a shame this is how it ends for me. Good luck to any of you that still has this bug and want to continue playing. IF Bioware decides to fix this game breaking issue, that should have been addressed already, then I will consider coming back. For now, however, I'm very sad to say goodbye.
  6. Update: All of my characters that did not have a second combat style have been fixed. I can safely select a 2nd combat style with no issues. However, my main character is still bugged, which is the only one that had a 2nd combat style when the issue affected all of my characters. So still waiting on that.

  10. Yeah the same is happening for me for characters I haven't picked a 2nd combat style for. The 1st combat style is blank. No, I haven't used a Commander's Character Token on my characters. At least the ones I checked to see if they are bugged. I am using the regular SWTOR client.
  11. Yep, that is correct. All of my level 75 toons are bugged, but the new ones are not. Perhaps they did some sort of eligibility check in regard to subscribers. It is a really weird bug for sure. Seems very rare at that. Another possible explanation of the bug could be from this character: https://ibb.co/nn4qS8Q I made this toon many years ago back before we had to choose an advanced class from level 1. This was a level 1 Bounty Hunter. Not a Mercenary or Powertech. Just a base class Bounty Hunter. I never logged into this toon to pick an advanced class so it seems the 7.0 update had no advanced class to convert into a Combat Style and just broke. I tried logging into this toon and all I got was a black screen with the menu music. It might be possible that this toon is responsible for the rest of my characters being bugged. I'm not 100% sure, just grasping at straws. EDIT: I tried deleting this character, but it did not fix the rest of my characters.
  12. Thank you, that makes me feel a little better. I'm sorry you're having the same issue too. Yeah, it seems like Bioware isn't even aware of this. Seems to be extremely rare, which means it probably won't get addressed for a while.
  13. I resubbed a few days before 7.0 launched.
  14. I should also note that I am currently a subscriber and I have had Legendary Status for many years. I also have one toon that I made a few days before 7.0 that is level 2. The bug does NOT affect this toon or any brand new toons made after 7.0. The bug DOES affect all of my level 75 toons that I made long ago regardless of whether they finished Act 3 in their stories or not.

I'm experiencing a bug with all of my pre-existing characters where I can select a 2nd combat style, but when I go to the combat style tab in the character sheet, it says my 1st combat style is locked and it only shows the 2nd one. https://ibb.co/w4wgPTw As you can see on my main here (Which I finished Act 3 of my story YEARS ago), My original CS is Sentinel and I selected Sorcerer as my 2nd CS. However, the image shows that Sentinel is locked. I didn't switch yet because I've heard from one another person that is experiencing the same issue, that when they did switch, it changed their faction completely! Their character was teleported to the opposing faction's fleet and they were stuck there. The game apparently took their ship away. Please help, Bioware! P.S. When I create brand new characters, the bug does not affect them. It only applies to my pre-existing toons. *UPDATE: Any of my pre-existing toons that DID NOT have a 2nd combat style, have been fixed. They can now select a 2nd combat style with no issue. HOWEVER, my main character is still experiencing this bug. This is the only character that had a 2nd combat style.
