  1. Wow....just wow. You care to back up how I misunderstand given it is a known issues with SWTOR.
  2. well just to follow up and close this thread. The latest patch did solved my problem. As I requested before but I guess it took time to implement, they sent me another "combat style quest". Now my old toons are got their original combat style back. Just took them 45 days to fix.
  3. Oh wow...thanks for posting this. Even though I have ticket them about 10 times, I'm sure they will just forget about me if I didn't ticket them again.
  4. Sorry about the delay. https://ibb.co/Rc8jVC4 As you can see, I completed all the class missions. But as ghost said, the developers knows about it. Hopefully not a year from now but soon.
  5. Thanks for sharing this Ghost. Means a lot that I am not the only one, but of course, sorry you are going through this as well. I getting tired of companies trying to hide away from admitting faults they have actually caused. I honestly don't wish this on anyone, but it nice to know that it not just mean. And you are right, we are going thru exactly that same problem. I picked the assassin for situational events like PVP or getting around enemies. The assassin was never meant to be my main choice of combat style. Thus why I feel this character is useless to me at the current moment. Not saying assassin is bad class, just not my playstyle long term. But like you said, we are just gonna have to hold tight and suck it up until then. @ronin chi lao I'll see if I can find that on the legacy sheet. I tried looking for that again, but have no idea where exactly it located. Only thing I can prove is that I have all of the special legacy abilities, legacy portrait, and all that. But if there is a specific achievement to look up, then I don't know where that is located exactly. I'll get the loadout screen coming up, and Pricia, you are right about being able to send screen shots to support. But like Ghost_Spectre said, they know it is a bug. Just odd that this recent customer service person says "The game is working as intended" nonsense. I wonder if they even get debrief on what is going on. What are major current bugs needing to be fixed or not.
  6. Picture time: First picture is when I was completed the combat style quest. I was assassin, but still had my Sorc discipline. https://ibb.co/3fmy7GR Second one is when after clicking on Assassin. You can see, but the 2nd combat style is saying I "need to finish the 3rd act". Well I did, I finish the Inquisitor storyline. I even finished it again just recently thinking that would fix it, but it did not. https://ibb.co/f8cC7gF Hopes this helps.
  7. Well I am or was a LS Sorc, and then a choose Assassin. This is also when I was level 75, and finished story. And no I was not inferring I could play both at the same time. I'm not that naïve. But you don't make any sense about "picking sage as my first combat style". I was given the choice of choosing my 2nd combat style. Could you explain this more please?
  8. I don't think you understand what the problem is. This is not something you can change in the preference menu.
  9. I'm not able to get into the game, but believe me I know what I am talking about. I'm not talking about hybrid setups. If I created a new toon, the dual combat style works with no problem. I can change between either two class styles. Instead what happen is Quest erased me ever being a Sorc and made me an Assassin only. It no long shows I was ever a Sorc. Simply put it erase my primary CS and I only have on combat style and that is Assassin. Hope that makes sense.
  10. I took the Combat Style quest, and instead of adding a second combat style it replaced my first one. And yes I was subbed. This is a bug and a horrible one. Nowhere in the quest or prompt message said it would *replace* my previous combat style. Instead it says over and over that it will be "adding" a combat style to your toon. Please fix the problem urgently for all the players who fell for this trap. I know not everyone has this problem, newer toons seem to be alright, but older toons that are made around 2012-2013 seemed to be having this problem alot. I have two characters are pretty much butchered because of this bug.
  11. Oh wow, they would banned you? That's ridiculous! I guess I should be considering myself lucky then. I am sorry that had happen to you. I know that feeling when work for something only to get it discredited, when you did nothing to cause it in the first place. I had something similar happen to me as well with Khem Val. My character does save him from Vash, but the game acts like I didn't. Sent in a ticket, got closed in 5 days with no response. Given the bigger issue with my Sorc, I am going to leave it alone. But it just pathetic they treat player like this. I wish there was a supervisor you could contact, but I can't imagine anyone wanting that position.
  12. Don't get what you mean by "mirror one". I guess I can keep on sending tickets, but at some point, it just hitting your head against a brick wall.
  13. So this has been going on since 7.0 dropped. I am and was a subscriber though all of this. When 7.0 launched, I couldn't wait to add a 2nd combat style to my toons, and that is what I tried to do. Logged on to my Sorc, and wanted her to become a part assassin. So I can change between sorc and assassin, easy enough request right? Little did I realize it didn't add a 2nd combat style, but it REPLACED my combat style. So now I am only assassin. Thinking I must of misread adding a 2nd combat style quest, I tried it again on another toon, and never did the prompted message says "replacing" or "changing out". It only says along the lines of ADDING another combat style. So the game prompted message is inadvertently doing something it said it wasn't suppose to do. Cause honestly, how is a player suppose to know otherwise? So I message Customer Service, and now for a month, and their response either one of three response, 1) Not my problem, 2) Are bots (because of their copy paste response that doesn't address anything that was mention in the ticket), 3) says "working as intended", or a mixture of all 3 mention above After a month with dealing this, I am so disgusted with EA/Bioware employees (assuming they weren't bots). I wish there was a number I can call or live chat and report this and hopefully they would be actually listening for once. Again I am so disgusted with them, I would say "shame on them", but that would imply that they have some small amount common decency. For someone that is trying to restore something that the game has caused shouldn't be punish to this degree. I just want my Sorc back, and no I don't want to re-roll a character I have spent 8 years working on her, I just don't want to start again. I love SWTOR, but honestly now I don't want to play anymore because how this game is being handle by employees that could care less. Even asking to speak to someone for 1-2 minutes is TOO MUCH commitment to give to a player.
