  1. Because the game is fine. 123 servers is not.
  2. I agree, frontal lekku would make the most sense. Btw, here's a screenshot of the old version: http://tor.zamimg.com/torhead/uploads/images/138.jpg Not the best angle or quality, but it's the only one that I could find.
  3. Sounds like fun! Wish that I could have been there.
  4. Especially considering that hoods were enabled for twi'leks during beta (the lekku simply stuck through them as if holes had been cut into the fabric) and it looked perfectly fine.
  5. Ignoring the fact why it shut down is reasonable? Especially considering that it was for another Star Wars game. And I wasn't addressing it going F2P, I was addressing you saying that it could "close completely". Which equals dying.
  6. Considering that the amount of subscribers that Galaxies had near the end of it's life was abysmally low and yet it continued to draw in money from people willing to pay to play the game until forcefully shut down for the launch of this one, you're wrong. But keep believing that Star Wars can die because you dislike the game, that's your opinion. Once again, you're wrong, but that's your opinion.
  7. Cute, somebody who isn't aware of how LucasArts works thinking that they know what they're talking about.
  8. Thank you for the thread Sang, subscribed and 5 star'd.
  9. Sounds good on paper. Much less enticing when you actually experience the massive zergfest which turns into a frustrating form of "Red Rover" in a sea of nameless faces and one second deaths. Over and over and over again.
  10. lol, damage done on voidstar Nice keybinds.
  11. Considering that (as I brought up earlier) we have an unnecessary 123 servers, yes.
  12. So the 1.3 million is split between multiple countries, what's the issue here?
  13. Clearly I should believe a few insignificant strangers on a forum compared to a statement released by EA to inform monetary investors and stockholders of the current situation regarding this game. lol
  14. You do realize that we have 123 servers and that the game exists outside of North America? I'm not a blind fanboy, I just read and comprehend the numbers given to us.
  15. I'm sure that monetary investors would appreciate "creative bookkeeping".
  16. If it was applied to all accounts, then the numbers would match the number of box sales. Ignoring that not every subscribed account met the criteria for the free month on top of the fact that people who despise this game most likely wouldn't even come back for the free month (maybe half and half), that's still an impressive number. How much leeway do you want? A hundred thousand? A few hundred thousand?
  17. Considering that it's illegal to lie about those numbers, yes.
  18. I don't see that happening with the amount of time and effort put into it from LucasArts/BioWare as well as the profits, but I've seen corporations do worst things. However, SWG was addled with problems from the start (some could argue that those were even worse than these) and that game brought in profit for years until it's successor was ready for the stage.
  19. No need to with 1.3 million fellow players, but I'll allow your angst for angst's sake. I will.
  20. I didn't quote you, brother. My reply was directed towards arcdaemon.
  21. You mean the game that turned into an abysmal mess that people still continued to pay to play (because it's Star Wars) enough to the point where it was able to be continued until forced to do otherwise by LucasArts themselves? So, no, SWG didn't die. SWG was intentionally put to sleep. FOR ANOTHER STAR WARS GAME.
