  1. I main a sorc heals. have since launch day. on BC. i fully support the fact that we are wayyy to OP at the current build. we do not need a nerf, we need an adjustment. what i believe would make pvp much more fun. - remove completely the +healing from expertise. - decrease sorc healing overall 1% - buff other 2 healing classes 2% i believe this will make the other healers a bit more competitive and healing all around less match breaking than it currently is. i write this because as a sorc being able to easily tank 1-3 people focusing me, between all my utility and ability to run around while channeling innervate with a decreased c/d is just sad. i swapped to dps, because it feels like cheating to heal as a sorc in this game currently.
  2. Good points! it does make sense that there may be no logical way to put the gear in there. but then again, even if it was cartel market exclusives. just for looks. it could work. i do not really care that there was any correlation between TFA and SWTOR. because i know there is a massive gap in time. however i do make the argument that even a scenic thing like the island they go to in the last scene of TFA, if it turned out to be say an old temple that is in SWTOR. that would be epic. to put that in context just think about the pyramids. they have been around a long time. from an old civilization. but my main point was that it saddens me they did not make any effort to entice all the people with "star wars fever" to get into this game, and possibly breathing some new life into it.
  3. Hi there! So TFA is out and making crazy amounts of money. and i have seen many post where people were upset there was not connection to the game or vice versa. but this is my observation on how Bioware could have used this box office behemoth to breath new life back into this game. ( however we all know they probably just want to move on, but some of us still love you! ) and now on to my point, I see a ton of new players flocking to the game because of the release of SW : TFA, and Bioware failed horribly. i did see an add prior to the movie about swtor. but why was there no enticement to join? all you had to do was offer a small deal or two like, - Brand new players get 1 month sub status ( minus free cartel coins ) - a combo bundle of all expansions for $10. ( lets be honest nobody really cares about the expansions that are history but you still need to buy) - some sort or gear that resembles some outfits in the movie. I would personally like to know everyone's opinion on the matter. any ideas you would have implemented prior to TFA or anything you would implement moving forward?
  4. my 2 cents are simply put. they should not differ PVP / PVE gear, except cosmetically. and it should be so that both have close or similar stats. and both pvp / pve should be cosmetic, 3 tiers almost mirrored, minus set bonuses which pvp gear may provide decreased Cd on break cc abils and stuff used more so in PVP. both sets should be Equally as painstaking to get tier 1/2/3 pvp takes almost just as long as 1/2/3 PVE so people place the same amount of time in, and there would be more of a player base for both types of game. if you feel like PVP'n you dont have to grind out a whole different set of armor just to stand a chance. ultimately it should boil down to skill. that is what makes both PVP and PVE the same damn thing. skill.
  5. good point, i am not enjoying it either, yesterday / 7/9 weekly and 1/3 daily, won 3 in a row, no credit. this morning, won 1, got credit, won 2 more, no credit...... it kinda just irritating
  6. i lol'd, you're funny OP. this game is going to have its hickups, just like they all do, but once the kinks are fixed, every QQ'r will be back in droves. btw, people are starting to report their valor being rolled back with warnings from BW, so justice has been served. PVP fixed. give it time. and you will be rewarded for your patience. if you're impatient then, nice knowing ya
  7. you sir get A *high Five* will edit if i can help ok, so i am running an I5 right now, and it's pretty flawless, dont have my specs on hand, at work right now so cant post them all. just know i have no complaints with the processor ok, also remembered i am running 8g ram, and dual 1G graphics cards, with the I5 processor, run the game on medium/max with no loss in FPS, unless its crazy crowded, but wz's dont lag at all for me
  8. i agree, nothing worse than loosing critical time trying to click off an ability which looks ready but is truly 4 secs away, when u could have done something else to increase performance.
  9. been waiting a long time, star wars + mmo + individual story lines = epicness the bugs will take time to work out. this game is so much fun, just gonna keep re rolling and trying the other class story lines till all the HM's and Ops are fixed and then will start the end game
  10. never fear! i am here to save thee thread! lol, i agree. personally, i expected a lot more problems with the game. compared to other launches this is excellent. its just imho, people have been babied to long, have had a perfected wow for years. the game is not perfect. but i can assure you that i will be the one a year from now who will still be playing at full strength, loving every single piece of this game. i believe people had to high of hopes for this game, and dont realize that its an ongoing thing to write all the wrongs. those that leave/complain for specifics, will be back when those things are fixed. albeit i really do enjoy reading all the posts on here they are very entertaining, and do offer a image of what some people are in fact taking away from this game. but i do know the vast majority of peeps are to busy playing the EPIC SAUCE
  11. i second this. would be amazing. just got my new Iphone, and was like that would be so awesome
