  1. You’re somewhat missing my point. You enter LFG You get auto grouped I'm willing to tow the line. I know my class Member of the random group starts his anal probing Offers his opinion that I will be subpar because I have 42 points in a tree rather than 43.. Rest of the sheep follow his lead... The whole process isn’t fun, isn’t game play, isn’t wonderment in a fantasy world.. It's a mentality peddled by tunnel vision man children, who have somehow come to consider this to be the most important thing in their life bar none, and they expect every random grouping to product a tank/healer or dps class with exactly the same gear/build and attack rotation.. That’s fun for you? Happy days. I'm done.

  3. Here's why your cancelling. You blazed to endgame. You blazed through the endgame content. Your idea of content = better gear, and level progression. You haven't played all the classes, followed all the class stories, tried the 16 class specialisations, tried all the crew skills or just stopped to smell the roses on 17 planets because you don't consider this content. You’re stuck in the wow mentality, where the game starts at 85 and if there's no gear progression, that leaves only level 86 progression... In summary, you totally missed the point of TOR and virtual worlds in general.
  4. yup. met alot like you. don't tell me .. Content = better gear , and progression to lvl 51 .. am I close?
  5. It's a bad idea. Very bad idea. Players in WOW now are nothing but a number. I've been there .. it was boring. Having other players able to scrutinise your gear score , rotation and talent build = play the current 'hot forum way' or don’t play. Where’s the room for being a character in a game, playing your way, using the attacks you like, with the talent build you like, wearing the gear you like. Before some rabid fan boy man child suggest I mean player in grey gear turning up and doing F**k all, I don't mean that and you know it. I'm talking about not having someone else who supposedly 'plays a character in the game' ask you why you have 1 point out of place in your talent build, because every other tank has it... f**k that, that’s why I left games like wow I'm not a f**king number, and I don't play to a monthly changing cookie cutter template.
  6. SWG crafting was like nothing ever seen. Never mind cookie cutter templates. Never mind forced end game gear paths that involve raiding. It was you, your good relationship with suppliers of the best harvested materials (players that lived and died in the aim of resource excellence), your crafting station, time, effort, and perseverance.. You could become famous on your server for producing weapons like no other. Complete one offs Unique. Never mind walking around with a raid gained Lore named item (Thrall's left bollock) People were struting around with a weapon with your name on it. that only you could make.. People were examining you and going "omg dude, you have one of xyz's Punchers!" xyz was you!!! you called it Puncher and made it famous..! Though experimentation, the more effort you put in, the better the weapon was. Hard working crafter we able to produce weapons so powerful, the dev's had to admit, they had no idea such results were possible.. I'm sure other folks out there can cover resources in detail.. and detailed it was.... Resource shifts (spawns) tracking the perfect copper (from the 15 different types) for weeks across different worlds. Turning up at your gatherer and freaking because overnight a 1 in million chance had occurred. That perfect metal had resource shifted under your gathering spot. There's no comparison to WOW or TOR as far as crafting in SWG pre NGE.
