  1. Hello. Just wanted to add this post to say I agree with the points made in the first post on here about Chat bubbles. As an active RP'er i can vouch for how needed this really is. please bioware.
  2. did you even read the original post? he's asking for it to be able to mail a crystal
  3. Hello BioWare One of the things that i really miss, aside from hood toggle is a proper, totally standard JK Robe, just like the one seen in KOTOR 2. I would very much enjoy if you could add one set like the one Obi-Wan Kenobi wears in Star Wars Episode II & episode I. and possible also one like the one Qui-gon Jinn wears in Episode I. And try to avoid clipping between the lightsaber and the cape. they should be adaptive armors, so all Jedi can wear them. Thank you very much for your time.
  4. Hi everyone, i am one sad Dark Lord of the sith I am now level 48, And have since level 25 been using the Stalker armor set. I do Heavy RP so i like my Char to look stylish, and the equipment has to look good and have decent stats. So, i stumbled across the "Adept Sorcerer's Foundry Robe" set, and i think it looks amazing. the thing is, i have the upper part, and i've been almost grinding to get the lower part as well, with no luck though. The armor can be seen here http://www.torhead.com/item/5S4AHIw/adept-sorcerers-foundry-lower-robe#screenshots (This is also the part i just can't seem to get) Does any one have a clue as to what the drop rate is on this item, and if the inq item droprate increases when there are more people of that class in the instance? I've done foundry 9 times now, 6 of the times some stupid heavy armor helmet has been the last bosses drop... Im sick of this FP by now, but i still want this armor... so, my question is: any idea as to what the droprate is? and will it help to bring more inqs?
  5. theres an episode every now and then where you just think "why would i even watch this" because nothing happens. BUT, i think mst of the episodes by far are excellent. The language, and the plots aren't on the same level as that in the movies, but on the other hand, who would expect that. I like watching it, i think the characters are well expressed. I especially like Ahsoka, because shes one of the characters with the greatest developments throughout the series. Its also nice to see what other Jedi Masters can do, masters such as: Plo Koon, Kit Fisto, Ki-adi mundi etc.
  6. For my JK (level 50) i can say that Yesterday i started leveling a Sith inquisitor (level 11)
  7. Love the game. hate the bugs. Counting on BioWare to fix the bugs.
  8. Dragon Ball Z abridged style: Leia: "I dont like this plan" Sorry, too much TeamFourStar lately...
  9. haven't ever got an orange drop from treasure hunting.
  10. I am most definitely not a hater. I have waited so long for this game, and it broke all of my expectations, by being much better than i counted on. Now, before you start calling me a fanboy however, you should perhaps just hear me out. As stated in the first post of this thread, this game has some huge errors. Errors that tend to make me slam my fist into the table in pure nerdrage. Last night, i was helping a guy garther a random group for The Eternity Vault, due to us being unable to take on a HM FP. 20 minutes, and we had our group, and we set off. The first thing that happens when i land, is that i die. No explanation, no mob, no granades or shots, no nothing. i just die. The second thing that happens is we all wipe, because the first time i leap an enemy, my game crashes. and this happens two times. so 1:30 AM i log off to play some PS2. apparently the eternity vault isn't as easy as people say... but perhaps we just needed a more skilled group, no matter. I have encountered a lot of flaws like these (no, im not referring to getting wiped as a flaw, but rather game crashes, and sudden deaths), to me, however, that doesnt break the game. It's annoying, but thats about how bad it is. I've seen a lot of whiners on this forum, few people with genuine criticism of the game, who doesn't hate it, but just recognizes the flaws for what they are. It's amazing how annoying it can be to listen to some of these people acting like spoiled kids. BioWare is doing what they can to fix bugs, and in general give you a smooth experience. But a game like this takes time to fix, this many GB's of data aren't easy to change something in, i would know, im currently on a education for learning how to make video games and the likes. I see people stating that BioWare just wants to take your money without giving you what you're paying for, if you really believe thats the case, what then, is stopping you from just waling away? nobody is forcing you to play this game. Others keep whining about different parts of the game being broken, and i just wanna tell you: theres a difference to asking on the forums whether other people have noticed a specific flaw, or just flaming one of the crafting professions. If you really are that unsatisfied with this game, then stop playing for now and come back in a year or two when its been updated a lot. BioWare doesn't have any reason for not doing their best. This game has been a huge project, do you really think this is all only about money to them? This is also about reputation, and most likely even personal pride. I would be damn proud if i was a part of the team that made this game, and i would do everything i could to adress possible flaws. No, im not a fanboy because im defending BioWare, what i just want to tell you, is that there is no good reason for BioWare to not care about this game. And to do a lousy job. That would be shortsighted. I dont wanna be part of any of the flamewars on this forum. I want to have fun playing the game, and talking to nice people that has a brain between their ears instead of empty void. May the force be with you!
  11. "is the darker side stronger?" "No! faster only, and more seductive" -Luke & Yoda Another thing, Obi-Wan only came out on top because Anakin was blinded by his rage. he made an obvious mistake, which Obi-Wan used to his advantage. Never, ever underestimate your opponent.
  12. +1 on that. However: I miss the oppertunity to be able to talk to my companions whenever i want to, anyone else remember that from KOTOR I & II, NWN and so on? To day i logged in just to get a more "cloth-like" armor for my Jedi Guardian, then to travel to Tython, the republic fleet, Coruscant and so one, to walk around and catch some RP. I think this game is awesome. It can be insanely hard at points *cough*Hard-mode-FP's*cough-cough* But it is also beautiful, easy to use for RP, and perhaps best of all: it has just begun. I really look forward to see all the stuff that will happen to this game. Personally im hoping for bigger planet areas, with good SWG like possibilities of housing, and so on. Open space could be awesome. But lets see. Everyone one who just flames this game, stop playing, get off the forums and start playing WoW or whatever you did before. to everyone else: May the force be with you!
  13. Im playing a Guardian using the Defense talent tree. with the right companion, DPS or Healer. Im seriously kickass PVE. Im also quite good PVP, but not just as good. Guardian is a good class, but i would say that it takes some skill to play properly. I just reached 50 btw
  14. I beat him! I had help though. I couldn't beat him alone, so i invited a random sage, and we beat him. When he was at >10% and i was at 85% of my 13K HP He released his best Kamehameha wave at me, or what ever the something is was. I died. instantly. So this new pal of mine actually beat him for me. Pretty lame. But at least i moved on with the story mission. i don't have a problem with getting help, but according to BioWare self, this should be Solo quests. And I don't have a problem with a challenge. however, i don't like trying to go something impossible. It's just not any fun. This is the first really bad thing i've experienced in this game. Come on BioWare, fix this please. This is not a complaint about the difficulty of the game, for gods sake do not make the game any easier. But this one fight is just too insane. And what the hell is up with the clones being immune to Force Sweep?
  15. Infact, i read about the hutts "Ceremonial armors" some place, because; Hutts can actually fight. They can even move pretty fast on their bellies, but the armor makes them hover. Hutts just don't do their own dirty work. they're too rich to do that.
  16. Bioware, thank you for making some challenging instances and heroics. Thank you for overhearing cries about these bosses being too hard. Im not trying to imply that you should not make the game easier (sarcasm intended), but for once im so happy to actually have a challenge. People complaining about this being too hard, go play elsewhere. Im happy to face some challenges. I've played healer and DPS before, but this time i took up the role as tank. This is at some points insanely difficult, and i couldn't be happier about it. The fact that it really is a challenge makes the loot so much better. I have been in instances with some, lets say, "less gifted individuals" but thats part of assembling a team, that there a chance you'll end up with a dps who thinks it's okay if he keeps attacking the boss while everyone else are trying to take down the adds. Does the bosses last too long? well, i gues thats becaus they are BOSSES theyre supposed to be friggin hard. theyre supposed to deal tons of damage and have way too many hitpoints! i know the trend is that everything should be able to be killed with a single swing of a lightsaber, but wheres the challenge in that. I like the fact that sometimes i have to fight 20 weak mobs at a time, which is hard, and other times i have to kill one elite super mob. Bring on the challenges! May the force be with you BioWare!
  17. The esseles has a cool little story. personally i helped a friend through it when i was level 26. It was hilarious and easy
  18. Funny, i've had people whining ingame about the Guardian being too weak. I play guardian, and i've kicked the mobs backside so far. The only thing i can say is that i did just a little bit too little damage, but i hadn't been able to get my hands on a good lightsaber until last night just before i logged out. Seriously though; as to what i've seen so far i can say: All the classes seems good if you know how to play them. Focus on your strengths, and make sure no one can exploit your weaknesses. Have fun!
  19. Chest piece armors. Don't worry, they'll come
  20. I was 4 years old i think (1995), my father was watching Star Wars episode IV He didn't know that i was watching too. I knew that i wasn't allowed to watch that kind of stuff, and figured that my dad would be mad if i told him. But i couldn't keep quiet for long. I think it was a couple of days before i asked him if i could watch the movie with the white man that shot "light" at each other. I didn't understand English, i couldn't read subtitles. But i was mesmerized by the movie. I was allowed to watch it about a year later with my little brother who was four I Remember understanding the main plot easily, eventhough i didn't understand what they were saying, since then it has been my favorite movies. They still are the best movies. I've heard some people say that Harry Potter is the "Star Wars" of this generation. But no. Star Wars is the Star Wars of this generation and all generations. You may disagree, that's totally up to you. But no scene has ever had the same effect on me as when **Spoiler** Darth Vader says: "Luke I am your father" **spoiler** Im gonna show the Star Wars movies to my own kids as well, im thankful that i saw the first three Star Wars Movies in a relatively young age.
  21. they could have made it cooler, but im glad they DID make it
  22. My Guildmates can play all they want before i get in. That doesn't change a thing to me, hell, they can probably even help be a bit along the way. I HOPE to get in to day. I'm just as impatient as the rest of you, but i realize that they're doing this because it's what they deem best. Now, i realize a lot of you guys "knows" how this should be done, which i think is kind of funny; as far as i am concerned the ones doing this are PROFESSIONALS. Meaning they have expertise in doing this. seriously, everyone wants to play this game right now, but just chill'out you're just making it worse on yourselves.
