  1. Nope...You're not missing anything. Just get the Armoring, mod and enhancement you want and put them into your current gear. It will scale up to that max level including the amount of armor. BioWare FAIL again!
  2. Ok...let me back up...LOL... My friend kept buying new orange quality gear sets every few levels and would put an armoring, mod and enhancement in it that was his level. I told him to stop wasting money on buying a new orange quality set every time because all he needed was the armoring, mod and enhancement that was you level even if the chest item or legs item was 20 levels lower...it would be the same. He didn't believe me at first so we experimented and made a level 11 orange quality chest item with level 50 armoring, mod and enhancement in it. It was the exact same stats as the level 50 orange quality item. So...what's the point of the various "Levels" of orange quality items?? Why does the game have a (in heavy aromor) level 11 chest item and a level 15 chest item and a level 19 chest item and a level 25 chest item... If they are all the same!?!?!?! People spend thousands of credits on all these upgrades and their isn't any stats benefit!! That's SO stupid!! You would think BioWare would have made each level that is higher have SOME SORT of benefit over the previous level...Buit there isn't one!
  3. I know I'm probably asking a loaded question (Because BioWare once again didn't think this through) but here I go anyway... Why are there different "Levels" of orange quality gear? As a level 25 or 45 (doesn't matter...Just pick a level)... I can equip a level 11 orange quality chest piece...put purple quality armoring, mod and enhamcement in it... And it's exactly the same stats as if I had a level 25 chest piece and put the exact same armoring, mod and enhancement in it. So why are there different "Levels" of orange quality gear??? There doesn't seem to be any benefit ay all. Someone please enlighten me as to what major benefit I'm missing here!?! Otherwise it seems that BioWare has once again been caught with their thumb up their read-end!!
  4. /signed Lame...Lame...Lame!!! BioWare is epically failing and doesn't seem to know it!! I really regret paying 6-months in advance for this game!
  5. I'm beginning to learn that BioWare really sucks at customer service and customer retention! If they're going to drop the price THAT much...those of us who have been paying to play this beta...I mean game...should have at least recieved an in-game something as a gesture. I am not married to the Star Wars universe at all...and the more BioWare continues to do things in a stupid manner...then more I'm looking forward to other games like: Diablo III Guild Wars 2 X-Com: Enemy Unknown Dear BioWare...allow me to give you a clue...You're not the only party on the block!!! Paying customers will go elsewhere!!!
  6. Dear Devs... If...upon any mission completion...I were to click that little "X" on the mission completed window instead of the "Accept" button...The mission reward window then pops into a "Pending" status in the upper-right of my screen. Please make this automatically happen for the following situations... When ANY window is open in the game (Like the following): Moving items between my inventory and cargo hold Checking my in-game mail Shopping on the Galactic Trade Network Typing out a very DETAILED, multiple paragraph bug report that I just took 10 minutes putting together When players are engaged in Combat! When players are harvesting a plant, crystal node or metal resource! Thank you in advance! (Love this game!!)
  7. "Black Market Trade"?? What game are you playing? J/K If you are going to do Cybertech...You want Scavenging and Underworld Trading!! You need both of these support skills to do Cybertech unless you plan on buying a bunch of materials off of the Trade Network (and if you do that...forget making any profit). Go to this reference website for a nice graphic that shows what support skills go with crafting skills... http://www.oldrepublic.net/258-crew-skills-map-force-non-force-classes-usage-dependencies.html
  8. I read through most of this thread (then it seemed to get way off topic somewhere) and didn't see what I was curious about. Anyone know if this new update is going to allow us to make PvP gear? Now that...would be Awesome!!
  9. Re-assemble my 486DX2/50 so I can play X-Wing Fighter and Dark Forces!
  10. @cujojax: Yeah...I know it should have made it to the bug forum...but after 10 minutes of searching for that forum...I gave up and posted here. LOL I kind of hoped someone who tell me where the bug forum is though! (Hint, Hint) Thanks for the response! ****************** @Blackavaar: I reported it in the game 1st...then came to the forums to post it again as a bug report. The reason I was redundant in my bug reporting is that in the past 3 weeks...I have submitted a few bug reports in-game...and all I seem to get is an automated response. It really have no idea if a "Real Live Human Being" is reading my bug reports. Posting it in the forum here also allows me to see if any other players are experiencing the same issue. The two items that did this to me were: http://www.torhead.com/schematic/86wQNUE/hardened-plastifold-chestguard And... http://www.torhead.com/schematic/aMesZl9/drelliad-jacket I'm not going to take any more chances until the Devs announce that this was fixed!! Thanks for the response!
  11. Are you dense or something?!?!? NO IT DIDN'T!!!! That's the bug I'm reporting genius!!! It didn't ask! (I know I can get the credits back easily...THAT isn't the issue!!!)
  12. @TylerGH: I never said that losing out on 5,000 credits is a really big deal...and I have chalked it up to a learning experience. That bigger problem IS that it did not ask me if I wanted to equip the item! It just did it without any pop-up box asking me the "Yes or No" question. I wrote that in my original post too! ******************************** @reaperkeepet: How exactly is it MY fault that the pop-up box asking if I wanted to equip the item didn't work on these two "orange quality" items?? There is a bug and I am reporting it!! If I had a box pop up...and I had selected yes...then I would understand how you could chalk it up to human error. That isn't the case! ******************************** @DarthKong: Same question!?! How is a bug on Bioware's part a human error on MY part? ******************************** @Resallaprov: Good for you! I'm guessing your not a level 12 like me (at the moment)?! So of course 5,000 credits is a few minutes for you. ******************************** @Selaik: So rather than having a stick-up-your-butt elitist attitude (since I did apologize ahead of time in case I was in the wrong forum)...How about being "Useful" and posting a link to the *Proper* thread?!?! ******************************** @Foofie: I did exactly what my original post said I did. I made the item http://www.torhead.com/schematic/86wQNUE/hardened-plastifold-chestguard...opened my inventory...opened the Galactic Trade Network window...clicked on the "Sell" tab at the bottom...Right-Clicked on the item to sell it...and it instantly equipped to me!! No pop-up box...no question asking me if I wanted to equip it...no warning!! ******************************** This is the BUG I'm reporting people!!! Not the fact that I'm also out 5,000 credits! I know I'll earn the credits back...but I thought maybe it would be worth posting this bug. I didn't realize what an unfriendly and unhelpful bunch many of the players are on this forum! Should I stop posting bugs? You think that you elitist jerks can handle everything yourself?!
  13. First off...please forgive me if this is not the right place to report bugs. I looked around and couldn't find a better spot to post this. Ok...on to the issue... I made two items with Armormech....Each of them being "Orange" quality and quite costly to make. When I went to list them on the Galactic Trade Network...I clicked on the "Sell" tab....then right clicked on the item to move it to the sell box (as I have always done for all other green and blue items). This time...it didn't put the item in the sell box...it simply BOUND the item to me!!! Now I can't sell either of them and I'm out at least 5,000 credits!!!! And neither of them popped up a box asking me if I was sure I wanted to equip this item (with a Yes and No button) before it equipped and/or bound the item to me!!! The first item actually equipped to me without me noticing the change. The second item...which I can't even equip...simply became BOUND to me all of a sudden. Please fix this asap!!!! Now I'd love to get my 5,000+ credit back...but I know I'm asking for a miracle there! lol
