Mostly cosmetic. There are a crap load of Legacy Titles and a bunch of armor, mounts, pets, and weapons with this event. Gree does have a bunch of Bind to Legacy Weapons, which currently only come from the Gree, BBA, or Rakghoul event with the exception of a vibrosword with CZ-198. It is the only source of Bind to Legacy Off Hands. The World Bosses give Black Market, Arcanian, and Underworld gear, while the various missions give PvP or Basic comms. In my opinion, you shouldn't be treating anything in this game like a "grind." Instead, treat this event as a chance to do something different that doesn't come around as much. Also, it is the only source of encouraged Open World PvP besides a few achievements: 2 missions are structured to promote players to attack each other.

If you are the same level as them, it is similar to fighting a [Heroic 4] group of enemies, since all 4 Elites will attack you at once. For the Gree Event, most of them can be soloed by level 50-55 players. Only 1 group on a level 40ish planet gives some trouble and might need 2 people.

Yes, you get the Nar Shaddaa Palace if you are a sub anytime between August 19 and September 15. However, you only get the starting room. No extra rooms unless you were a sub in July or May.

Nope, you will still get the Nar Shadaa Palace with 3 rooms in September when Preferred players have access.

The game runs on Windows 8.1 fine. Just make sure that your graphics driver and sound driver are up-to-date and Windows 8.1 compatible and install the game and run it. I'm running the game on Windows 8.1 with no problems.

Most non-boss enemy abilities are the same as players' abilities. These can be found by searching Torhead.com. In fact, most enemy abilities are found on Torhead.com, but it is difficult to search for them and many are not attached to the enemy that uses them. That being said, these non-healing abilities are typical abilities you should interrupt: Terminate Spinning Strikes Project Storm Anything with the term "Unlimited" in it Heat Beam Master Strike (Player version is uninterruptable) Ravage (Player version is uninterruptable) Orbital or Artillery or Air or Alpha Strike Grav Round or Tracer Missile if you have less than 5 stacks of the debuff. Its for level 50-55 toons only. Level 50 characters are boosted using Bolster to level 55 status, but their companions are not. Anybody level 49 and under cannot participate.

Note that the Sabotage Probe only prevents turning for 3 seconds, but does damage for 6 seconds. It also does not prevent boosting or slowing down, which the Bomber intelligently does a lot when you hit him with it. With the exception of the one time you hit a Gunship around 0:35, it looks like the Sabotage Probe is working as intended and preventing turning, but not maneuvering in other ways, for 3 seconds. (Note: the 4th tier upgrade only prevents the number 3 ability [missile lock breaker for most] from being used. It does not prevent boosting.)

The prices will go up after the packs are embargoed until they are brought back. Some items that nobody wants and are common won't go up very much, while others can double or triple in value. Its kind of the same with any collectors item that you buy: it will likely increase somewhat, but you have no clue how much it will increase by.

Currently, these 2 packs are embargoed. They may come back as a special though. You current options for non-black core Green crystals are to buy them from the GTN or use the Green / Yellow-Green default ones you can get as loot. You will need to join the guild on that new character. Guild membership is character based, not Legacy or Account based.

The whole PvP part of it only works because it is an event, which increase the population doing the missions. If it was around all the time, we would have less people participating in it and the PvP missions would not work. The PvP missions are based around limited PvE resources for too many people trying to complete the mission. This leads to player attacks. If you have less people, then you have enough that people don't have to compete for resources.

Its working as intended. It was explained in a post a long time back around the middle of Season 1 that the system tries to make a perfect match at first. If it cannot after a while, it will broaden its range. If it cannot at the new range after a few minutes, it will broaden it again. Repeat until you have a rating 800 vs rating 2000 because they are the only ones on. This is to allow people to play Ranked when there are not enough people in Ranked queue to make even teams. Its either that or not play Ranked at all when the teams cannot be even rating. Solution is to play at some other time when more people are in Ranked queue.

You need to do a few other missions first. You probably skip a very large amount of them. I tend to be way overleveled as a non-sub until level 40ish. Look for people with triangles over their heads and talk to them.

Control Button and the Mouse Wheel will do the same. It only affects pictures and text within the browser, not the browser itself.

If you can't feed the Taun Taun babies, it is on cooldown. If you can feed them, they are not. Also, the cooldown is on each Taun Taun baby, not the entire nest.
