  1. It would be nice if there was at least a confirmation window to help avoid typos since it's such a permanent solution. I was among the first batch of people to get to choose names and typed in Dragon just wondering if it was available and was shocked when it went through without a single prompt. Thank god that you can display as a title. "Dastion Dragon" sounds stupid, but "The Dragon Legacy" is bearable.
  2. Go for the Force Master pieces. Accuracy isn't worth it unless you have to worry about dodges and such.
  3. It looks horrible, but I'll still wear it. At least if it ever drops for me. The healing set bonuses are nice, though I think I'd rather run 2pc PvE and 2pc PvP. I rarely have Force management issues and being able to shield more often is pretty clutch.
  4. I just don't get how some people think. Do you seriously no see the problem with hitting 400 in a crafting skill giving you easy access to something better than, or even on par, with something accessible elsewhere? BoP perks should be utility items that aren't absolutely necessary. Right now Biochem is necessary. There is nothing you can get from other crafts that you can't get better versions of elsewhere while Biochem gives you easy access to unlimited consumables cheaply that are unavailable unless you are 400 Biochem. It needs to change. They need to be nice to have but still be outdone by a BoE craft.
  5. This is actually a horrible build. Sorry, I'm not trying to be mean but it is. You skip every single efficiency talent and don't even have Wrath. You have a significant investment in our two main spam skills (LS & FL), but no way to maintain it or really benefit from doing so. You should focus on one or the other, not both and as a primary PvE spec you shouldn't be skipping efficiency skills for the root or blind talents. Here is currently my favorite build for doing hard modes and pvp daily. With this build you actually gain Force while channeling FL and will never run low, meaning you can easily swap to spam healing when needed since you don't use Force to DPS. It's far from optimal pve damage, but gives you good damage and lots of control. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#201hZbsMMdRrZcMcRsMz.1 The points in Lightnig Spire and Lightning Storm can really go anywhere, but I find they help when I'm using Force Storm. Spammable FL, Wrath procs for Crushing Darkness & CL, Affliction procs for Lightnin Barrage, roots, blind, and a positive return on Force while DPSing (allowing you to easily off heal), I love this spec.
  6. If they want to do this fine, but they need to change Champion Gear like they did Battlemaster. Getting 6 pairs of gloves is rediculous, and lowering the rate will just exasperate the issue.
  7. Force Lift works, as stated previously. With the talent to make it instant and stun enemies if broken I find that the Sorc version is awesome for killing Huttball carriers as they run across the fire. CC them on the spot, and when the fire comes they are stunned in it for 2 seconds. Tumult is a big no. Everyone has these hard hitting PvE only skills, some classes even have two. Trust me, the last thing you want is for everyone to be able to release that sort of burst in PvP, if you thought Ops/Scoundrel burst was bad then just wait until 5 people use these skills on you during a stun. Detaunt I agree with. They used WAR as inspiration for Guard/Taunt pvp effects, they should use WAR's take on detaunts too. That being that those effected by it deal less damage to you, but if you hurt anyone effected by your detaunt it removes the effect.
  8. Salvation always had the initial HOT tick. The two spells were exactly alike as far as the HoT goes, 11 ticks(one instantly and each second thereafter). The Sage version just had an initial upfront heal, which matched the description. It's sad that Sorcs tried so hard to get our version fixed and they nerfed yours instead. Sorry guys.
  9. We don't need more burst in PvP. I know you'd love to kick people hard, but everyone has these skills and if everyone can suddenly bust out these moves on someone stunned then it would get rediculous. You think Ops are bad now, wait until everyone can stun burst you. Count ourselves lucky we only have 1 such skill unlike SW who get two Offensive Skills unusable in pvp. Though we do get our Detaunt, which does nothing. I wish they would have borrowed a bit more from WAR and made detaunts reduce the damage affected enemies do so long as you don't hit them.
  10. I notice that every pve 13/28 build I see has corrupted flesh listed. Is it really better than making your whirlwind double as an insta CC and stun?
  11. I was primarily trying to gauge the extremity of the issue. One more request, can you view what the Detaunt is for the jugg/guardian detaunt? I'm wondering if it is more in line with extricate.
  12. While on the subject of the 13/28 spec. Can someone tell me why everyone includes Corrupted Flesh in their builds? I haven't encountered any fights where the DOTs are a big deal. I tend to prefer Haunted Dreams for clutch CC when needed. I'm a support at heart, but we currently have a dedicated healer so I usually run this build for both PvP and Hardmode flashpoints (I'll have to change it for Ops). But for now I find that it offers me a ton of utility (Blind on shield, root, and insta whirlwind/stun), while having decent burst. What's more is that even hitting Chain Lightning at every opportunity I never get low on Force, not even remotely low even. It's so efficient that I'm able to easily backup heal in pve and pvp for tight situations and rarely run low. I could do a higher dps but less sustainable build, but for now I feel pretty unstoppable with this build. Granted, that utility shouldn't be needed for Ops since everyone has their dedicated roles, but I really suggest it for those of you still doing 4 man hard modes and daily pvp for your champ gear.
  13. It would help to compare it to other similar skills, such as the Merc version. Though it sounds very weak eitherway.
  14. That was probably just a forum moderator trying to limit the amount of threads on the same subject. Personally, I don't care how they fix it as long as they are responsible enough to make both spells do the same thing and correct the tooltip. I find the Sorc version very effective in helping me in many fights, but missing a significant chunk of it's healing, and t a large upfront portion at that, is a major bug.
  15. Be efficient. Mix in some health taps so your health is at 80-90%, if you do 1 tap every 30 seconds and just keep a shield up on yourself (not usually needed) you still net 18 force. Try to avoid casting Benevolence unmodified unless you absolutely have to. Better to start pre-casting a more efficient Deliverance. Use your shield, with talents it is hella efficient. While Force Bending + Deliverance is awesome for PvP and burst healing, it's more efficient to cast it with Benevolence. Try to avoid going above 2 stacks of your life tap debuff, at that point the gain is not worth the regen loss. Also, either do 2 taps in a row or spread them out so you don't stack the buff. You don't want to refresh the buff before it fades. The 9% cost reduction skill is awesome, definitely pick it up. Look at it this way. With just your +100 Force talent your Tap + HoT + Benevolence nets a 7 Force loss. With the talent it only costs you 2 Force. It gets easier once you get the free life tap on Healing Trance crits talent, and even moreso once you get your AoE heal. Just make sure you position yourself within the circle so you can get a few 'free' taps off during it.
