  1. This is sort of different that the last one I posted. But there's a guy on Kaas City Republic PVP I see a lot. His name is Tetsuo, like the lead antagonist in Akira. I always send him a tell that says, "KAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!"
  2. Ray Charles. Dark skinned Mirluka I saw running around Carrick.
  3. My guild and I are a bit confused at the moment. Most of us are level 50, and the majority of our 50s have at least done the Balmorra and Illum PVE daily quests to the point that our gear sets have all the purple mods you can get from the daily commendations. Not the best gear in the game, granted, but not the worst. We are a smallish guild, so we had 4 people on, and decided to try The Essles Flashpoint on hard mode. The mobs seemed to be pretty tame. But we got to that first boss and he was killing off our members in ONE SHOT. Is it completely impossible to do a Hardmode Flashpoint without first obtaining gear from either Tier 1 Endgame PVP Vendors, or Tier 1 Endgame PVE vendors? Would it be easier for us simply to look for other guilds to try and do Operations with before we try any more Hard Mode flashpoints? Thank you for your time and input.
  4. The "new" species are not "new". They are basically letting you unlock races and species that are unavailable for some classes. For example, letting you make a Sith Pureblood Jedi Knight, or a Mirialan Bounty Hunter. "NEW" races will not be added until a later date.
  5. What skill tree are you using for Sentinel? It's my opinion that the most effective tree for Sentinel to solo PVE, is Watchman. Read up on this skill tree, and use the "burn" damage over time attacks that you can stack on a target. My sentinel was useless until I respeced my points into watchman for burn down DOTs.
  6. I was under the impression that if you dropped the 1 million for the armband, you only got access to the lounge itself, and you were denied use of the VIP vendor.
  7. I don't think that there is one. There are GTNs on: Dromund Kaas Nar Shadda (Hutt Cartel trading network, not hooked up to all other GTNs) and The Imperial Fleet.
  8. While this is true, I personally did not like the look of the one my companion came with initially. I offered my other suggestions as a means to acquire some that look different from the starter modable. But your suggestion is very valid, and a good thing to note, because many mistakenly sell the first one when they find a green with better stats.
  9. If you need the actual WEAPON, there are a few ways to go about this. One fairly simple method, would be to do enough PVP warzones to get the warzone commendations required to get a basic orange double bladed lightsaber off the PVP Weapons vendor located in the Combat Training area of your factional fleet's space station. Right by the PVP mission drop box. These weapons have no class or alignment locks on them. You could also try farming for a weapon your companion could use by doing lower level flashpoints solo. For instance, if your on a Jedi Knight that's say level 25+, you could go back and keep running from boss to boss in Essles. That flashpoint will drop orange armor and lightsabers "Sort of" tailored to you or the companion your using. I'm FAIRLY sure these don't have class or alignment locks, but I could be wrong.
  10. I'd have to test this theory to confirm. But I'm fairly sure you could take out the key mods like the armoring, hilts, barrels, mods, or enhancements. I think the orange item ITSELF, and the COLOR CRYSTAL are the only two elements that are actually alignment locked. So for instance, in THEORY, you could take an alignment locked double bladed saber, crack that baby open, take out the hilt, the mod, and the enhancement, and slap them in the orange custom double blade you already have for your companion, to replace the lower stated ones already there. Then all you would need is the color crystal. But, this is all in theory, as I've never actually tried it. It's worth a shot.
  11. Please add a Mouse Sensitivity slider; instead of just the camera speed slider. Would help me out TONS.
  12. As of right now: No. In the future, the legacy system will allow you to unlock different things. For example in March they are adding the first use for legacy; which is the use of some playable races available to new factions/classes. Like Mirialan Sith Warrior, or Rattaki Trooper.
  13. On my machine, TOR seems to run heavier on my RAM than my processor, or my graphics accelerator.
  14. I think this may qualify as both best and worst. I saw a Jedi Consular (I think it was) on Kaas City server named: Tittysprinkes
  15. Green = Common Blue = Tier 1 rare Purple = Tier 2 rare Orange = Fully Customizable "Custom" gear. You can use mods on orange gear in order to improve it's stats most of the way through the game. Red = You lack proficiency, or the gear is restricted to a player class or force alignment that you are not. These rules apply to armor and weapons alike.
  16. Stuff like that is on the smiliey list. Stuff where people make they're own is just word art basically
  17. Corso Riggs. I constantly have him do the crew gathering missions I deem would be the least pleasant to attempt.
  18. I can't figure out how to open the Belsavis bonus series? Is it on the Republic/Imp Fleet? Or is it on the Belsavis Orbital? any help would be appreciated.
  19. Currently, at level cap, biochem is definitely the most viable. You can generate reusable level 50 stims etc. That being said, everything from level 1-49 has definite good purpose. Depending on what you want to make, and what kind of character you have, you should consider the following: Cybertech - Makes the Armoring MODS that determine the armor value of orange custom gear from level 1-49. These armoring mods can be used by ALL classes to increase armor value on orange armor gear. Artifice - Makes the HILTS that force users and other melee companions require to increase the DPS on lightsabers/vibroblades etc. Very useful for Force Users most especially. Also notable is the fact that Artifice makes many color crystals useful for ALL classes. Armstech - Makes BARRELS that determine the DPS of tech users guns. Useful to any shooter that doesn't use the force. Synthweaving - Makes armor for force users. Has some orange custom schematics available Amormech - Like Synthweaving, but for tech users. If you have any questions about the gathering or mission skills, I will help there as well.
  20. I don't really want to power level at all. I'm just concerned that if I get one or two too many levels ahead of a group of friends, I level myself into solo territory.
