I am a returning player and so I tested the game out last night to make sure it would function well with my new PC. Everything worked well and so I just purchased a month of game time. Once I did that I tried to load the game. I get through the launcher just fine but when it attempts to load the game up it changes my resolution to some absurdly low number (800x600 maybe) and wont load the game. I see the icon on my taskbar and when i try to click it or alt+tab to open it it refuses to open. I have to Alt+F4 to close it which then reverts my resolution to the proper screen size. Any ideas?

Incoming but truthful rant: So you all knew this was written "weeks ago" but instead of giving a more accurate assessment of F2P you decide to rehash stuff that has been in the public purview for at least a month? It doesnt take long to write a half dozen paragraphs pointing out all the pros and cons of the system as it sits on the PTS right now and how you have made changes due to player feedback, or are you afraid to see that when it is all laid out everyone (who hasn't already realized) that your F2P and Preferred model is only a ploy to make people come back to boost your numbers for your 1 year mark? Those of us that have been watching the info and playing the PTS have seen that you wont bring back many people to the game that will become subscribers in the long run UNLESS YOU BRING OUT CONTENT REGULARLY. You have been saying 6-8 weeks for months and adding one or two Operation's in 6 months and only 1 new WZ is not really new content. neither is fixing bugs new content, or adding better shadows or better lighting through leaves. we have been hearing for months about Cathar as a new race, a new WZ, revamped open world PvP, a reworked/retooled Space combat (the one you have been teasing looks to still be on rails). Give us x-wing vs Tie PvP as space combat and I think most would be happy. Give us one new WZ and one new Op every other 6 weeks and we would be happy. KEEP THE OLD BUGS THAT HAVE BEEN FIXED OUT OF THE NEW CODE and we would be happy. As a whole we love the SW IP, we love the class dynamics we dont like waiting on content and waiting on bug fixes. dont wait until tuesday to put out bug patches, the engine was suppose to allow you to fix bugs and upload them to the live servers without to much trouble, why did that not happen? This is the true state of the game and everyone knows it.

You should be putting up patches whenever you are able to fix a bug, waiting around for 4 days after you announce the maintenance seems silly and get people pissed that the game is more broken than it ever has been. Hot-fixes FTW!

How about instead of meet and greets to get good publicity, you have those developers, I don't know, developing content? Producing good or even moderate content in a timely matter would give you better publicity and subscribers would flock back to SWTOR.

I noticed if you search for, and this is one example, Zal Alloy with the crafting materials pull down highlighted you dont get just Zal Alloy now you also get Dallarion Alloy in the search results too. I assume it is a conflict with the space being used during the search. If I just use Zal with the same quantifier it shows me only Zal Alloy, this was not the case before 1.4 and the broken GTN day.

I thought of another thing to add to my list. PLEASE put the drop info out there. It is so hard to find specific things in the game like lvl 50 Droid Motor and not knowing where they are. give the info to Torhead or put it on your own website please.

Disclaimer: I did not read all 31 pages to see if this is repeats or not. 5 things I see that are minor but breaking in a way... 1. Target Marks in PVP need to be removed upon death. 2. You should be able to see if you can learn anymore schematics from Reverse Engineering without having to make a new and wasting the mats. 3. The shield in Voidstar that blocks players from returning to defend takes to long on the last shield (zone). a few matches i played went like this... I died 2 secs after the 2nd door blew, and by the time the shield let me through to the last doors, they had already dropped the red shield and were 3 secs from capping the door when I was able to get to him. That is WAY to long to be in a shield. 4. Datacrons legacy wide. Make it an option in the cash shop when it goes live. 5. There is no lvl 50 Droid Motor schematic that I can learn from the Cybertech trainer. updated to include #5

Mark in PvP should be removed upon death. I dont mind being marked as a healer, adn dont mind marking as dps... but they should NOT persist through death. PLEASE BIOWARE!!!!

actually this is a bug me and my guildies are finding... even after turning in flashpoint quests we get 0 points, I have been this way for 2 weeks at MINIMUM.
