  1. Going to throw my hat in the ring here and say I also had the advert in the launcher and did not receive the promised coins. My wife on the other hand has received hers, so there's that at least.
  2. Yep, exactly what I was going to use an example. In CoH You could use an NPC to set the base level of the mission so the mobs were between 1 and 3 levels higher than you and the size of the NPC spawns in the mission. Not sure if this is actually possible in the SWTOR engine as all missions tend to have preset level, rather than dynamically set the level based on when you got the mission and I don't think SWTOR has dynamically scaling spawn sizes based on party size. I've never noticed a difference in the amount of mobs when I've done missions solo or in a duo with my wife.
  3. You mispelled "5 minutes" as "5 minuets" in the post that was quoted. A minuet is a french social dance for two people, performed in 3/4 time.
  4. Bought a supercrate and debated selling the packs or opening them... Decided to open them myself and only ended up with chance cubes and jawa junk... Opened the chance cubes and the 2nd to last one had an Unstable Arbiter's Saber. As I'm not a fan, just waiting for the bind timer to expire before posting it.
  5. I think the OP might be referring to the level 8 comms vendor on fleet. IIRC there are no moddable shield generators available to any of the Tank specs from that particular vendor, which is actually quite annoying when you first try to gear up after reaching fleet, especially as the old orange shields don't seem to drop from Esseles/Black Talon anymore and the H2s on the capital world that used to give a moddable offhand now just give gear boxes.
  6. They do exist. There's the mission on Imp side Balmorra, "The Secret of Cave 52" where you have to investigate a cave containing secret cargo the Republic has under heavy guard.. So yes, there are places that weak force senistives can go to lead a non-jedi life at this point in the Old Republic.
  7. From reading the rest of your post, can I assume English isn't your first language? If so, then you are probably not aware that "knockers" can be a euphemism for "breasts" in English, hence the relevance of your name to the subject matter.
  8. There's actually a big in-game storyline reason for them to join the Empire if you play through the Imperial storyline on Belsavis. No spoilers, but after seeing that I have no problems with Imperial aligned Cathar.
  9. Just out of interest OP, have you had to dial back on the graphics settings recently? Low shader settings also stop the back mounted jetpack from animating.
  10. From the 1.4 Pacth Notes: "Several common NPC Boss encounters have had their loot adjusted to be more in line with their rarity" Basically all loot drops for common champion mobs were nerfed heavily. Other than the patch note no real explanation was given. At the time the thinking was that maybe it had something to do with the Cartel Market and F2P launching in the next patch, but this has never been confirmed.
  11. Your point, though cynical, is well made. Well, I guess a decent compromise would be the "sync to palette option" from earlier as a paid for unlock through the CM. At least that way it would be a one-time deal rather than a constant stream of coins to keep your stocks of dyes up. And now the cynic in me is saying "But you know the second option is far more attractive from a business standpoint..."
  12. Armor dyes... Oh, I can only wish. Would be great if the system allowed Synthweavers/Armormechs (possibly Biochem for those "natural" shades?) to craft the dyes as another consumable. Failing that, the system Sirius described upthread. What I don't want to see is a system where the "popular" dyes become just another way to milk everybody through Cartel Market exclusives.
  13. Yeah, the conversation kind of jumped ahead whilst I was writing my wall o' text, so I missed that part. Honestly, I'm with you, 16 slots, to cover all ACs is understandable. More than that I'm at a loss really, but hey, each to their own. Some people like repeating content and rolling a duplicate alt is the only way to do it in this game.
  14. I don't think the OP's point is that all 24 of the characters they have are "too important to delete" (although that might be the case) I think the whole point was a simple warning that you can buy more character slots than you can actually use and they wanted to make people aware of this, not realising a dev had already said it. Yesterday, when the patch went live Joveth made a post that lead some people, myself included, to the conclusion that that as long as your total account limit of 350 wasn't exceeded, you could have as many characters on one server as you wanted. I would assume the OP saw this, before the dev posted the correction, and then went and bought 13 new slots, 12 to "unlock" the characters they already had (because if there was an alternative to deleting them, hey why not?) and then one extra in preparation for the Cathar. Now the OP is in the position where they have to delete a character to make space (or roll on another server) and they still have three useless slots. I see the post as more of "don't make the same mistake I did" more than anything else. The problem is that within the first page the tone of the thread became decidedly argumentative and the OP is responding in kind, no matter how pertinent the question is. Although I would guess, if there was a maximum number of slots purchasable, it would be 20 to allow FTPers to get the maximum 22.
