  1. Yup. Exactly correct. When I read your post I was out of my mind on sleep fatigue (hence all the spelling and grammer errors). I thought you were one of those "Oh no! I cannot romance Ashara if I am DS5!" posters. What I want is either to continue using her to aquire more power... or to treat like every other person I've dealt with along the way: use, murder, move on.
  2. Cultural Artifacts and Weapons. In fact... those are the only two Gift types you'll ever need as a Sorceror: Khem Val: Cultural Artifacts Andronicus Revel: Weapons Talos Drellik: Cultural Artifacts Xalek: Weapons If you want to expand your Gifting parameters: Khem Val: Cultural Artifacts, Weapons, technology/trophy Andronicus Revel: Weapons, Underworld goods/Military Gear, luxury/trophy Talos Drellik: Cultural Artifacts, Imp-Rep Memorabilia/Luxury, tech Xalek: Weapons/Mil Gear, Trophy/Underworld goods, --
  3. Yeah, but they're blue. So... not sure what the point is in them. If I could get them in an ornage I'd want the set, I like the look.
  4. Sigh. Except you can be 100% Dark Side and still romance her if you buy her enough Republic Flags, Shoes, and Perfume. And there in lies most of the hate felt for this character by others. She will still eventually grow fond of you * regadless of your cruelty and merciless manner. * Fond enough to begin the romance option. There is where the second layer of hatred comes in. You have to act in a manner inconsistent with your everyday activities to romance her. And then put up with her "Jediness". F- that. Cultist chick is my girlfriend, she gets to have my evil spawn and raise them to worship me as the Cult does... which is largely pretend I don't exist, never tell me a thing, and hope I never return.
  5. F-ing no! That's where I get most of my Red Goo!
  6. Yes, I know. iwasn't talking about SWG when I said "technically those two were classless". I was discusing Ryzom and Fallen Earth. Ryzom is dead, Fallen Earth is now F2P. Not really. You have skills. You have to focus on having only so many skills if you want to be great at them, which of course limites your combat if you are focusing on Crafting. However in FE you have 4 areas you can "put skills into": Melee, Ranged, Crafting, and Psionics. Melee and Psionics go well together, as do Ranged and Crafting. Though I've seen Melee/Ranged/Psions... wierd skillsets though. And of course there are those that focus soley on one area and become the "best of the best of the best, sir!" in that skillset.
  7. Yeah, I don't have my BT notes right now, but I think the max is 460. I'll try to remember to post a walk-through for BT this week with the Affection gains for each dialogue.
  8. No. Of course not. You are railroaded into allowing her to join you whether you want her around or not. It's the same way for all classes and companions, the only choice you have is whom to use and whether to gain or lose affection with them.
  9. The way Crushing Darkness deals damages is thusly: It divides it's damage across the number of it's base "ticks". CD gets a number of "ticks" across it's base duration (I'm not sure of how many). Lingering Nightmares adds more duration, which also adds more ticks, these extra ticks get the same level of damage the previous ones did. CD does not "redivide" the damage for Lingering Nightmares, it just gets a few more ticks added.
  10. Yup. I've since learned this. Now I'm fiddling with learning where each one has the highest gains and losses through repeateables.
  11. Go try Fallen Earth. Best yet, Fallen Earth has switched to F2P. You should play more games... I can name two off the top of my head: Fallen Earth and Ryzom Though, technically, neither game has classes...
  12. Exactly. Take gathering skills only. I'd suggest Bioanalysis, Scavenging, and Slicing... then never run missions, just gather as you go.
  13. As far as I know crit bonuses only apply to Missions, you cannot crit on a node. I'm not sure if +skill affects nodes, but I strongly suspect it doesnot.
  14. Reuseables for everyone means someone buys something once, and then never agian. That means everytime you sell one of them, everytime any Biochemist sells one, every Biochemist has lost a customer for life. I wouldn't take long till only one or two resuseables were being sold per day, then per week... This simply put a bad idea.
  15. I don't. But I've never been into xenophilia.
  16. Khem gives +15, +30, +40, +45, +60... It just depends on the conversation and the choice. I've seen all of those individual Affection rewards for Khem. But mostly he gives +15, the other nmbers are rare occurances.
  17. I'm selling mats on the GTN for reasonable prices. Personally I hate price gougers and have been fighting a one man war on Diplomacy mats price gouging on my server. I've driven the prices on grades 1-4 commons down to slightly over the cost to aquire. I just started working on grade 5 and 6. Once those are set to reasonable levels I'll start on the purple mats... btu I seriously doubt I'll make any head way on purp mats.
  18. This "bug" only occurs when you critically fail a mission. It will not affect further missions, unless they too are critically failed. Eventually the pointes sort themselves out, there is no "lasting damage" to you LS/DS points.
  19. If so then the SW has the same problem. They too have the pointless travel to and fro missions between chapters.
  20. wait for Bioware to give her a skin texture. Until then put some decnt clothes on her!
  21. Exactly. Neither of the SI's "Apprentices" are actually apprentice material.
  22. SUMMON ANOTHER COMPANION. Extraneous non-caps words.
  23. Yup, because sarcasm comes across very poorly in plainly written form. Also it wouldn't be the first time I saw something that retarded in these forums.
