Was having the same issues earlier on my Commando. Elara wasn't giving me any affection points even when I was making light side choices. She always gives me points for those. Another guildie that was online at the same time was having no issues with his companions on several different characters. I switched characters and had the same thing with Vette not seeming to care one way or the other when I made dark side choices.

Maybe all of you should have put a little more thought into what you were naming your characters before you selected the name that you now are complaining that you can't change.

If it is a small cantina with lots of people around he won't talk to you. Find a larger cantina or talk to him on your ship if you have one

many people have expressed problems with Taris...I was fortunate and never had an issue with this world.

some of the companions will only talk to you in a larger cantina...for example the small one on coruscant that is by the senate building never works for me but I can go to one of the larger ones that you discover later in your quest line and it will work there...

They are optional. If you don't want to do it then delete it. Deleted several this morning that were now gray to me. Move on.

I have yet to buy any gear off the AH...got all of mine thru quests and commendations...sold plenty of mats from scavenging on the AH though...

Wasn't that big of a fan of SWG pre NGE...was just a grind to master anything...don't mind a grind but when it became mind numbing it just wasn't fun anymore. Checked out the EMU SWG for a bit and realized real quick why I totally hated the old SWG
