  1. Except that the Trailblazer armour was not changed to match any advertising. (Only the Phantom and Spymaster were) It was just changed for no apparent reason. I don't like it, and I would like it changed back to the look it had when it was purchased. Here's a much simpler analogy. Suppose you bought an armour from the Cartel market that you liked and for no reason BioWare changed it to a model you didn't like. Would you want them to change it back? Or would you be comforted in the knowledge that some people like the change?
  2. How nice for you. I don't and it's not the one I purchased. If they wanted to introduce a new look, the one you like, they should have put a new armour set in the game that you could have purchased. Instead they changed a set that people had already paid for. I would have not purchased this set if it looked like this originally. Please change the Trailblazer Chest Piece back to what it was.
  3. The thread you are referring to covers two armours changed to match advertising. (I know it has wandered) I would like to know why this set was changed as it didn't appear in any advertising. I purchased this armour specifically for the way it used to look. (I hate the shoulder bit and the random patches on the back.) I like simple clean armours of the kind you see characters wearing in the movies. I would like it changed back.
  4. This is not the same as the Phantom and Spymaster chest pieces which you changed so they would match the advertised pictures. The Trailblazer armour never appeared in an ad. I liked the way it looked before the change that's why I bought it from someone who was selling it on the GTN. I would have never purchased it with this current design. Please remove the shoulder pad and the pointless patches on the back. Please change it back.
  5. Didn't work before but works now. 2500 Cartel Coins -- would be nice if you could use them to buy legacy perks instead of credits.
  6. Same here. I've had repeated 6 month subscriptions since launch. I'm a Collector's Edition owner. My Cartel coins page says Subscribe Now. Sigh.
  7. The Male Formal Outfit, Adaptive Armor, also gives my Jedi a big butt -- Body size 2.
  8. Is my subscription cost actually going to go up with Free to play? I buy a 6 month subscription so I pay 12.99 a month -- is this option still going to be available or will I be charged more in the Free to Play model?
  9. Twi'leks in the Live game have the hoods disappear on their armour. It's actually why I am currently playing a Twi'lek guardian on the live servers. I hate the hoods. Alodar
  10. There is an age old question for Hybrid Guardians: "Which mitigates more damage: Commanding Awe or Blade Barrier?" They keep changing so we still get to discuss it. Patch 1.3 changed Blade Barrier so that "The amount absorbed by Blade Barrier now scales properly based on character stats." Commanding Awe when fully specced absorbs 4% of all damage plus an additional 15% of (all?) damage when Focused Defence is active. (Does this still work if you don't have the focus to maintain the healing effect?) My question for the fine BioWare folks who are reading this thread: Could you please fully explain the mechanics of Blade Barrier and Commanding Awe and its Focused Defense bonus under 1.3 so I can make an educated decision on how to spend the last 2 points for my hybrid Guardian? Still having a blast with this game, Alodar
  11. Unfortunately, in this weeks Q&A someone else is answering the questions Georg usually answers. If he has left SWTOR it is a huge loss. Georg is an incredibly talented and elegant designer who I've followed since his work on NeverWinter Nights. Good Luck Georg! You will be missed. Alodar
  12. My suggestion would be the option to forgo other rewards for a larger credit payoff. At the end of a Warzone you could choose to receive 0 valor, 0 PVP Commendations and instead receive a larger credit reward. It's not fair if PVPers get to double dip, but if they could choose to get either valor and commendations or a larger credit payout, I think that would be fair to everyone. Alodar
  13. That's nice to hear Stephen but what is the point of testing and reporting this on the PTS if you don't take action until it's reported on live. This was reported both via /bug in game and I created a post detailing the results of 100 slicing missions in the PTS forums. Testing is only of value if you act on the feedback. Alodar
  14. That's just not true. People have been holding aggro for quite a while with the hybrid build. 1.2 didn't change that. That you have difficulty with it doesn't mean that it doesn't work. Master Strike has always been good. Now it's awesome. Agreed. I run a similar build as the OP except I took Force Rush instead of Commanding Awe. I don't have Focus issues. It's not bad at all. It's just not the one you use. Lot's of folks have had success with the hybrid and although it's different with 1.2 it is still viable IMHO. Also Unremitting and Defiance certainly aren't mutually exclusive. Unless you can convince your opposition to only stun, sleep, or knock you back during the first 4 seconds after you leap and not use any of those tactics during the other 11 seconds of cooldown, then Defiance is very useful. Defiance is essential if you go the Commanding Awe route which makes Focused Defense free when stunned. Tanks can use DPS moves in this game as that creates threat. If you can get things to attack you, ignore others and survive , protect your healer, and interrupt others-- you are a tank. There is more than one way to accomplish those goals in this game. Alodar
  15. Unfortunately Grey Gear didn't make the cut for 1.2 However, there is a Mission Support Vendor in the new Black Hole area on Corellia in Sentinel Station that is selling Relics for 200 daily commendations and the relics don't appear to have light side or dark side restrictions. Alodar
  16. Yes. Play a Twil'lek Jedi. You can wear any heavy armour you want and the hood disappears as to not interfere with your Lekku. I'm currently playing a hoodless Twil'lek Guardian and it's wonderful. Alodar
  17. All this being said I was making a bunch of money last night sending my companions on moderate missions. Returns average at about 47% over what the mission cost. I got lots of criticals for lower level missions and had a steady stream of income when I was doing my dailies on Corellia. Alodar
  18. You are incorrect. Please read this thread for the returns you will see since 1.2. Rich and Bountiful missions are huge losses if you don't crit. Alodar
  19. This mirrors what I saw on the PTS. After running 100 missions on the Test server I had the below results. (Due to limited time I only was able to test up to Moderate level 5 missions) Bountiful missions lose approximately 464 credits on average. Rich missions lose about 296 credits on average. If you wish to make money slicing you'll need to run Moderate or Abundant missions. Moderate missions average approximately 138 credits per mission Abundant missions average 53 credits per mission. The above figures don't include crits, but even if you include them Moderate > Abundant > Rich > Bountiful I was running a bunch of Moderate missions on live and getting positive returns last night that were in line with what I was seeing on the PTS. 20. The PTS is currently closed. When there is a new Patch to test you don't have to sign up for it. All you have to do is: Log in to the Star Wars: The Old Republic launcher using your username and password. Click the Settings button (gear) in the bottom left corner of the launcher Under “Enable Public Test Server Access”, select “Yes” Click “Save” Now the bottom left corner will have two buttons: select the new button next to settings Under "Pick an Environment" select "Public Test" Click "Next" and you will begin patching on the Public Test Server* Click "Play" The first time you do this it will be a largish download as you are downloading the Beta client. Most patches after that are small. Until BioWare gets the character transfer mechanics down, playing on the PTS means you have to create a new character. The good news is so far the characters haven't been wiped, so for the next patch instead of starting from scratch I will start testing with a 23rd level Guardian. Alodar
  21. Unfortunately I never got to test affection. I did most of my leveling in War Zones and Space Combat so my affection with my companions was nominal. Alodar
  22. You are being reasonable. Please stop. That kind of behaviour is discouraged in these parts. Alodar
  23. No love for Canadians? It's just as well I suppose. I don't think I'm persuasive enough to convince my wife to add a 7 foot Darth Malgus statue to our decor. Alodar
  24. I had to practically search the planet but I found them. If you are standing in front of the door to the Senate Tower, turn left and walk for a few seconds, they and they are tucked away behind a pillar and half wall. Alodar
