My HK came with gear on him and it is all level 50 but since it is already on him will it just scale with me?

-Short and sweet, compared to Ashara how far behind is Xalek's dps?- So I'm on Voss now going to be getting the Xalek soon. I think he looks cool and I Want to use him but he is a tank companion and I don't exactly like that. I like having a dps companion. Again though, I want to use him just because I like him. I hear people say he does good damage for a tank but how good is that? Compared to Ashara how bad is his dps. I know Ashara is obviously better but how far behind is Xalek? I'm at the point where I either need to commit to Ashara as my companion or start getting gear for Xalek if I am going to use him.

On all my toons I have hold on to modable gear while leveling and pretty much only use the commendations from leveling to buy mods so it really doesn't cost me much. Also running FPs to find new orange gear and/or get a bunch of at level mods is helpful as well. They do need to fix the light armor social gear thing. All they really need to do is make every set come in light/medium and heavy armor types without changing their looks.

As a healer I use a dps companion and I can keep us both alive pretty easily although the fights are a lot slower than when I leveled a dps i think it is as it should be. However tank companions really are the worst. If you are a good dps then the only times they even have aggro are with their forced taunts. Tank companions are squishy as well; the speed at witch dps companions kills versus the amount of damage a tank companion can take before dropping means that a dps companion is effectively a better tank than a tank companion. Meaning the damage an enemy does exceeds your tanks hp before they would your dps companion's being virtue of them dying faster. I'd rather just kill enemies faster with a dps companion or have a healer and pretty much power through pulls with little to no rest.

The "there aren't any good hairstyles" is a good argument (especially in someones mentioned case of sith pureblood). But every other class deals with the same hairstyles and most of them still have hair.

Why are almost all warriors bald? Especially Juggs. Is it because Malgus is bald? Be honest, if you are a bald warrior and it was because of Malgus speak up. Are there people out there that made a warrior with hair just to go against the grain?

The question is why do people think WZ numbers mean anything?

Not everyone in the sw universe is the same, thinking of every npc/companion as a character class will only lead you to more questions. You are different in what you do just as all the npcs/companions are different in the things they do. The hard part is looking at the 1,000 other player sith warriors who have the same limitations and advantages as you do and thinking it must be norm. In the contex of thinking about yourself story wise you have to pretty much ignore 90% of the other players. Otherwise you could ask where is Malgus Jasea Willsaam companion?

As a tactics van trooper I have an ability that make me immune to any forced movement effect (hold the line), don't you think it is possible other classes get immune to CC abilities as well? I'm sure most savvy pvpers look for things like that to fit into their builds.

It is amazing how many people don't just read the sw every single day! Like who are these people with lives or jobs that don't let them do whatever they want on the interwebs. There is no search currently so of course you are going to get the same things in new threads because these are the issues people care enough about to post about.

If you play a pureblood sith with like the dropping face tentacles and you are a warrior with one of those face masks they get, the tentacles go through and past the mask and it looks pretty terrible.

BHs have the same type of advantages over Trooper. I don't even want to look into all the mirror classes because I'm scared what I might find.

Not all skill are good for all builds. You have to review and see which ones are the best bang for the buck and not even look at the other ones.

I'd rather see a class that focus on its pets, maybe a droid builder/tech that uses presence as a main stat.

Level 50 tactics vanguard. Once I got Dorne I barely had to rest at all, was usually toped off and with the tactics ammo and minimal ammo management I usually had close to or max ammo after every pull. I tried using other companion but they just didn't measure up.

I just hit 50 a little bit ago and it was easy. I don't space bar convos but I do happen to have a lot of free time so I play a LOT. I had fun getting 50 and I'm going to have fun doing stuff at 50.
