  1. It has been said that legacy will allow the purchase of perks to customize your leveling experience. Will these perks take from the entire legacy pool on a particular character, or will they be unique to each character, allowing you to customize each characters leveling experience they way you wish?
  2. I do not share my personal information. I do not need people bothering me about it. Even if I only claimed, I could easily link video's to a random fighter.
  3. As a professional MMA fighter, I can tell you that you are entirely wrong. MMA fights are akin to this exact conversation. Style vs Style. When GSP first started, he was primarily a striker. He did not have a wrestling background, in fact, he had not wrestled before starting MMA training once in his life. His focus was karate. Going against Matt Hughes, a very well known Wrestler, he lost. GSP then beat BJ Penn 2 years later, a relatively long time in training where his style focused more on Wrestling ( a weakness he fixed ). He only won by split decision. BJ Penn is widely considered the most complete fighter in all of MMA. Id also like to point out that Matt Hughes beat BJ Penn in 2006, another flaw in your analogy. As for how this equates the OP, Obi Wan was widely considered the most complete Jedi. The perfect embodiment of the Jedi Order, some would say. This allows him to have advantages over opponents, such as Mastafar Anakin, as Anakin was far from complete. He had incredible power, which will beat some opponents. I believe Dooku is the wrong analogy as well, Cin Drallig is a better one. Cin Drallig was a FAR better lightsaber duelist then Dooku was.

  5. Oh Ken, What are your thoughts on Secondary stats. Pretty sure we both know accuracy to 100%, but after? Id venture to say Crit PvE, given the refund for gunnery. Alacrity looks appealing for PvP, Given that cast time skills do not have a GCD. Meaning if you were to reduce Grav Round to 1s, you could cast 3 Grav rounds in 3 seconds. There's a rumor that Alacrity also speeds up DoT times, though I do not know that for sure. And it may be me being extremely tired, but I was thinking of messing hybrid Gunnery, just for stupidly high HIB damage. Thoughts?
  6. Plasma grenade + Tech Override? Point is, most of our damage comes from abilities that ignore line of sight. If we can hit the button while your in LoS, our ability goes off. However, when you hit Grav Round, I have a good 1.5 seconds where I can LoS you, and negate your damage. All while your taking "insignificant" damage from my dots. I was legitimately going to answer the remaining quotes, but its 4am and im tired. Tommorow though.
  7. One of the best guilds in the game, Condemned, with just about every world first to date, has a tank with 6500 armor, and 22k hp. 6500 armor = 27% reduction IIRC. The best tank in the world doesn't have 30%, so we can't really use 30% as our baseline average, can we? Math Requests: Do the math for how often DoT effects pushback abilities of healers, or damage dealers such as gunnery commandos, or sage's. (Survivability/Death Blows?) Do the math for how often gunnery will be in position to use knockbacks offensively during WZ's (Teamwork?) Do the math on how often your target will LoS you, causing you to lose tons of damage. There are a lot more reasons why overall, AS will always beat Gunnery. Most notably, good players, will NEVER let a gunnery Commando free cast. Which brings me back to my original post, ignoring the baddie effect.
  8. Except your forgetting all the other variables. Increased Crit chance from AS, 9% damage boost, the higher crit rate the more effect crit damage has, the 15% boost from 4 piece pvp, etc. You get onto me for math every time I post, but when you post, it's always incomplete math that favors Gunnery. Do the full math if you wanna prove a point.
  9. The split up damage DOES add more chances for procs. In the same way that the split up damage of Full Auto can proc the 1 Ammo return on crit, in the Gunnery tree. We went over this. Hammer Shot = 41% chance to proc Plasma Cell. Why do people who have never played AS keep commenting. Im sick of this. AS Has higher burst. Higher sustained damage. Higher survivability. Assault Plastique does more damage then any skill Gunnery has. AS HIB does more damage then any gunnery skill. ( Herp 60% critical with 240% crit damage ). The best burst Gunnery can do is Sticky -> Grav -> Demo. The best burst AS can do is Assault Plastique ( more then sticky herp ) -> Charged bolts ( More then Grav HERP ) -> HIB ( More then Demo HERP DERP ). Dots will always provide better sustain. Ionic Acceleration does not have a Cooldown. Curtain of Fire does for you pve nerds out there. It also naturally has a higher chance to proc. More movement = More Survivability. Don't sit here and try to math me on this. It's pretty blatantly obvious.
  10. Im saying that healers get a bonus, while every other classes bonus is mitigated. Herp.
  11. Thats not the point. The point is, in the end, DPS and Tanks have no benefit to getting Expertise capped. Zero None. Zip. They need to do something with expertise that makes it a stat that benefits DPS/Tanks in pvp. It doesn't have to be a full 10% bonus like healers are getting, but it should be something higher then 0%. Im not sure why YOU don't get that, though.
  12. Neandramathal has discovered wisdom datacron. +50 Wisdom for being the first people to understand what expertise really does.
  13. My logic isn't flawed. 0% difference unless your a healer. They get a bonus, where as everyone else gets nothing. They could have took Expertise out of the game entirely, and reduced the heal penalty to 20%, and it would have amounted to the exact same thing, except it wouldnt take people forever to achieve. Resilience works in a different way then resolve. It's a damage decrease. That's it. So your always going to benefit from 10% reduction. If you have 2 commando's shooting at eachother with 10% increase and decrease, it amounts to the exact same thing it would be if they had NO expertise at all.
  14. thats because your not going against people with the same gear.
  15. Team of 8 people, all with full pvp gear get: 10% damage 10% damage reduction 10% heal bonus. So when going against people with the same gear, the damage bonus and damage reduction, are entirely mitigated. The only thing that's left is Heal. So for us damage dealers/tanks, Getting PvP Gear is just a grind that will eventually mean NOTHING. Where as healers will get a actual bonus. Needs to be changed to grant a benefit endgame to everyone else. Something like -10% Critical Damage instead of -10% pure damage.
