As arenas are a joke of a way to PvP none. What I think the best combo is ,,, 2-3 commandos crosshealing 3 works the best. 2 heal and one dps . If targets change dps turned to heals and the new target to dps . It's all but unstoppable.

3 mercs cross healing beats 3 sorcs all day long . Sorcs heal/madness or lightning/madness vs healing merc premade merc wins We have tested it and the premade we made to reroll on pub is a all commando group. It's all most unstoppable. And why is it that most of the QQers can't tell what a sorc is vs a assassin , and they are not QQing over the sage and? The lightning is why, they see that hitting around them. They take massive dmg and think it was the sorc. When it was one f tje other 8 guys hitting them they just forget about .

Willing to bet sorcs are one of the last classes to see a nerf as numbers don't bull **** like bad players.

No it don't have it all , most yes but you can't have it all , you can not have all the cc he's listing and be a healer . Me I think my build is better then the lightling/madness as I'm healer/madness. Lol iv got a merc , a sorc , a shadow , a gunslinger, and working on a jug now. The sorc is by far one of the better over all classes but not op. I do more dps then the sorc with my shadow, with my merc with my gunslinger . But I doe less on my sorc then all but my shadow. There are no op classes just under powered players ie bad .

All I see is read my bla Bla blaaaa , I got owned by a sorc, I'm bad so nerf them so a 2 year old can 3 shot em ops can. Sorcs can not in any build have all you listed. I'm surprised you didt add that they can stealth like 1/2 the other QQers try and say. They don't hit any place close to a ops , a marauder, a sniper, merc , a assassin, a power Tec, a jug . There is no other class that has a softer dps. What sorcs can do is cc better then you, and have very good survival skills if played good. The

None of the stuns by them them selfs are op . It's that soon as your out of the stun your restuned over and over. Remove the stun locking and its all moot

BW you need to give each AC its own icon so the bad players can tell a sorc/sage apart as they can not seam to under stand that they are not the same thing. Sorcs can not stealth. They do not use a double bladed lightsaber. They can't guard. Mercs are not power tecs. Power recs hit good can't heal, mercs spam one missle and heal Ops are not snipers ops are a good strong dps class snipers not so much. Jugs are not marauders jugs unkillable marauders hit like a truck with 2 lightsabers I think a lot of the op talk about classes are nubs not understanding what class killed them and lumping the act of a class into the bace class as a hole. As there are no over the top op classes in this game, just over the top bad players and trolls.

Lol sorcs and sages can not stealth , they never could. Shadows and assassins stealth. To tell a sorc/sage from a shadow/assassin look for the lightsaber its easy as a assassin and shadow have the only staff ie double bladed lightsabers in the game . Sages and sorcs can not use them .

As EA has a stake in DAoC fixing Illum is easy, go take a look at DAoC have the devs play DAoC they rip it off in all most every way. Do that and you have world PvP in the best way any one has done it. DAoC with a SWTOR theme is win with a GG

I'm not going to quit but the PvP as is sucks. I'm more of a DAoC PvP fan (DAoC is not a sandbox btw) All but a few of my guild has all ready desubed, wow same old wz just don't do it for us, and Illum/world PvP is lacking in a big way. My self ill play each of the 4 storys for imp and reb. After that if the world pvp is still in this bad of shape, ill move on. Most likely back to DAoC or uogamers. Just wish some one would make a dam MMO AAA grade for pvpers and see that most pvpers are not wow arena kiddys. Wow PvP sucked , rift PvP sucked and atm SWTOR PvP sucks. BW look at all the wow clones that fail. Don't be a full on wow clone, at least when it comes to PvP , its fail.

I can restart my DAoC account I have not logged into for 2 years and have instant invites for 8 mans . That's what matter to me. Your point of view on PvP just don't matter for me as i see you much more like a fps or pveraider. Just the way it is . Arena junkyarders can't think past there macroed skills. In this game nothing, in games like Shadowbane , UO and god of them all DAoC open world PvP beats any thing wow has tryed any day of the week. Arena and wz PvP are the same thing over and over. Arena you know what when and how the fights going to go each time every time before it even starts. Wz is not much better. Open world is a monster all of its own. It's never the same. You don't know when how where or how many you will run into. Called targets, ff'ing, changing tactics on the fly to out with a larger group. In 2 of the 3 games listed above siege PvP in taking out a defended city or keep 100vs100. Vent teams working together to keep 100+players on track working together for flanking and such. This game has no such critter. As DAoC is still a 14.99/m sub 12years after it came out it must be doing something right. If you won't to know about open world PvP is say go read about DAoC for a good understanding. Keep in mind that its 12ish years old and plays like its that old. But the way it was done is unmatched for pvp. Arena junkys. Like to think that's true PvP but they never would make it in a true open world pvp game as they cant think out side the box arena. Ya its a good idea , but a better idea is to have all PvP gear use the same token just cost more and have a valor rake before use or the best idea of all,,,,,,,no PvP stat at all , do away with PvP gear, and let players skill be what counts. Is be happy to demod my BM gear and use normal OJ stuff. But the wow kiddys will never go for it.

Other then tanks ,any class that can't beat 80% of the sorcs 1v1 should stop playing as you will never ne anything but fail. Give sorcs the dps of other dps classes. The armor of other dps classes. Lol ya the game is just the way it was I'm beta, betting you played one weekend and think you know it all. With full bm a sorc has at most 15k life . I'm full champ and setting just under 14k I would love the chance to change ac to assassin . I can't help that you can't play the game and a sorc . squshy low dps owns you. I do not think sorcs are under powered but they are not op. As a healer/madness hybrid I 1v1 light/madness all day. Ya they get some good cc. But its very short timers and if they fixed the resolve it would be nothing. Cc is not op resolve is broke. In the even full it gos away to fast. Ps , let's just take all the skills away from sorcs so they are free kills , better yet pets give all classes One skill it will be the same for all classes and do one dps. Just the one skill . Hmm as I thing you would still qq op it might not be a good idea to mess with the game for what bad players think is op.

Yes ill go for that but give us the same armor as a op or merc and the same life. As are 13kish health and light armor don't help us at all the ships is all we have to lower the massive dmg of all the other classes

See this is the problem with sorting wz, assassin and sorcs have the same tag. I'm a hybrid spec sorc heal/madness I on a normal wz get around 30 kills but all most none kill shots or solo kills might get 2 . I don't do the dmg other classes do. It's a grate class and is I'd say just about right for what it is. My 180k dmg is about norm. The sorcs hitting the 300+k dmg are using a aoe that crits for 400ish on stacks but they don't do **** to help the game. It's shield farming and worthless other then that. Now my Jedi shadow , same icon as a sage. I can get into the 250k-300k dmg, 15-20solo kills and all mist no deaths. Or I can farm shields by guarding and walk away with 10 shields and 100k dmg. Point is you can't use the wz dmg bords as a OP or not standard. It just don't work like that. As for my sorc i can beat some classes hands down Easter then others. Tanks for one are easy as I can heal past there dmg with cc timed right. Most mercs to as all they know is spam the same thing. On the other hand ops/scoundrels , sentinel/marauders and well played shadow/assassins **** me 50% of the time. Look its about what you play and how you play it. Some classes will do better vs another class but get **** stomped by another. It's allways bin thus way in mmos. There is no way to have all classes be =in all things short of only having one class. Rock paper scissors is better then bland one class sysyems.

So what part of a sorc is op? The 300 a tick force lightning? Up to 900 with relic and recklessness up? The 3k bubble that most classes pop in one shot? The 2 cc we get or 3 if spec for it? One busts with and dmg. The light armor? The 13k life? Might it be that ops can 4 shot us?
