  1. I don't see the point of it, it's not like BW are getting credits from us. All it really does is limit people from switching between clothing that they like. I have a whole storage container full of orange gear that I want to wear but won't because I don't want to pay the 60k+ to rip my high-end mods out of my current gear. I suppose if the aim is to bully people into getting more mods/armor/enhancements it kinda works but not really as alot of people just end up sticking with one main set of clothing, or two, a PvE set and a PvP set. If it was free to move mods around then you could change what you wear on a daily basis depending on your mood
  2. There are quite a few items that I think could be moved to the Mission tab of our inventories. It's already used for at least one non-mission based item, the VIP room bracelet. Items that I think are suitable are: MGGS Hydro-thinner Rhythm Augmentation Droid Holo-dancer CE Flare Gun Camera Training Droid Social Token Those are just the things off the top of my head but you can get the general idea. The reason I suggest this is because I carry all of the ones I listed in my inventory. What would be extra nice would be if you could assign short-cut keys to the items directly in your inventory so you don't have to assign them to quickslots. That leaves more quickslots free for other things.
  3. So at the moment you have to stop running to mount your speeder, bit annoying and I see no reason you couldn't mount it on the move. Also, mounting speeder whilst stealthed. Should simply auto-break stealth as casting an effect normally does and then mount the speeder. Seem like 2 very normal and expected things.
  4. This would be a simple log where we could make notes to ourselves. Like at the moment I have a little notebook next to my keyboard that I make notes in for example: "Got way to much crit, need to even it out with more power." "Farm some red goo." I know using a notepad on my desk is easy but it would be nice to have it ingame. I would use an in-game email if there was some way of doing "save as draft" so it never got sent to anyone.
  5. Do you plan on extending the class stories? That includes companion and romance plot lines.
  6. So this is probably a huge change but I would like to see users, like myself, being given moderator powers on each server just like on a forum. These few users would be able to handle the in-game chat and deal with general nuisance players. There should be several on each server to help get a better mix of timezones covered. At its simplest the idea could be that certain users get a few extra chat commands that let them warn users for their chat behaviour or possibly issue temp bans for repeated violations. There could be a seperate moderators channel so that the moderators on that particular server can discuss things in private like "what do you think we should do about player x?". There could be a seperate moderators channel or /moderator kind of thing for users to report stuff to. So say Bob, who is not a moderator, is on Hoth and somebody there is causing trouble in chat. Bob could do "/moderator Can someone come to Hoth and look at what McEvil is saying?" There would have to be a strict set of rules they stick to, unlike that in-game service rep that was throwing ban warnings about. In fact, that is a perfect example of why they need strict rules. Hopefully having a group of moderators on each server would limit this happening as they would be able to keep a check on each other. Tasks they could be responsible for: Warn users for saying bad things. Temp ban users for repeated violations, ignoring previous warnings. Direct people to use the Trade channel instead of General for sales. Direct people to use LFG tool if they are spamming general chat. On Role Playing servers they could enforce the role playing rules. Advise fellow players on general queries i.e. be a good player. Maybe that last point should be taken off the list as it means they could easily become unpaid customer service reps. The other things make sense because they are little things that occur throughout the day and can be handled quickly, ingame to make the experience more enjoyable for all players. Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
  7. I like your way of selling and I do tend to sell most of what I'm selling but not instantly. Alot of it is quite good stuff. When I do a class quest or a Flashpoint I try and kill everything in that level which means I end up with a lot of stuff in a short amount of time and it just seems like a waste to vendor it. I guess it depends on your particular play style
  8. The "Max Deployable" option of 5 should be 6 when you are level 50. Why do I say this? Well, if you playing PvE and want your companion with you then you will have 5 deployed on crew skill missions. So no different than now. It should be up to the user to decide whether they would rather have a companion assisting them or out on a crew skill mission. That way it acts more as a negative consequence rather than a cap. For 50s like me it means I can run around with my favorite companion all day, then at night send them off on a skill mission for a single little boost in the morning. It would also let me put a little extra juice into farming when I realise I've run out of a particular ingredient.
  9. Oh, and increase the speed of speeders. 110% seems fast when you first get it but after a while it feels sooooo slow! It makes sense when you are still exploring worlds, helps pace the story line. Afterwards when you are doing boring things like griding daily missions, well it would help get through the boring bits much quicker!
  10. Also, please raise the limit on the number of Warzone Commendations you can have. Setting it at 2000 and not telling us that is a maximum sucks. I only noticed after a week that I had not been getting more commendations. It was caching my daily in tonight when I noticed it. Why have that capped at 2000 if Ranked Warzone Commendations can go above that?
  11. Hi, I was hoping you might sneak these in with 1.3, 25 missions in the log is just not enough once you reach the higher levels. Once you have all the weeklies, dailies, achievements and other misc type missions you just run out of room. I have some Heroic 4 missions left in there from a couple of worlds, ones I have been unable to solo and it means I can't have all the dailies from Domination on Belsavis logged at the same time! I've dropped a bunch of the weeklies for Flashpoints and Ops but then it means I have to make a choice later on about whether to keep the weekly and try and finish it or whether to do the dailies including the PvP one. 50-100 log entries would be nice As for the GTN, again, it's just not enough items. I'm not logged in atm but I think the limit is 50 or 60 items. I probably get more items than that in a few hours from questing and sending companions off on skill missions. I have the maximum inventory storage and the maximum storage locker space. I've started having to sell things to the vendors just to make room. This has a direct impact on the number of low-mid level items I sell as I figure I might as well vendor those to make room for high end items. This may sound like a crazy number, but 500 would be sweet! Edit: While I'm at it, how about increasing the GTN sale time maximum from 2 days to 7
  12. That's quite unfortunate if you are on an empty server like Hex Droid. I went to the GTN on NS hoping to find some of the crafting mats I can't get on the imperial GTN and it was pretty much empty. I went through each category from top to bottom and found 3 items for sale
  13. Thanks for the list, I wish I'd seen it ages ago! Totally bookmarked now. I'm a lvl50 Sith Assassin and I managed to solo 1-7 in normal mode with no problems with Khem Val as my sidekick. Couldn't solo Colicoid Wargame as you need multiple people for the turrets at the start and the shield section later on. Tried to do Red Reaper but got my *** kicked from the start. Could probably get further with stealth and brute force but I thought that would take the fun out of it. Going to do Red Reaper and the rest of the list as a group. Thanks again, very useful post
  14. Part of the reason was because "Implants" and "Earpieces" appeared to be empty unless you picked a rarity. This was only introduced in 1.2 or one of the patches since then. Basically, the default rarity option "Any" no longer worked. It could of been for more categories but these are the two I noticed since I am an implant crafter. Instead of fixing the few broken categories it clearly seemed like a better idea to make all the other ones work the same way What the powers that be do not seem to realise is that vast numbers of players do not come and read the forum every day or trawl through the change list for each patch. This has led to lots of people just assuming the entire GTN is broken or that there are no items for sale in the few categories they have checked. Having to educate our customers on how to buy the items we have for sale indicates that it is not intuitive. I've stopped crafting for now as (1) it's no longer possible to purchase the crafting materials I need on the GTN since the sellers have stopped adding material items and (2) people no longer understand how to buy my items. I'm assuming the material sellers have stopped adding items since they were not selling and it does get annoying when you login and get 30+ in-game emails stating that those items have failed to sell, I know that's what I've been getting
  15. Don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet but the "Cheap" rarity seems to do what the old "Any" type did. It seems to work like "Any" for all the categories I tested it in. The GTN on Hex Droid is almost dead, today there has been less than 1 full page of diplomatic crafting materials, there are several pages of bioanalysis materials but that's because a few jokers have listed about 20 single items over and over again.
  16. Do you have any plans on adding more galactic trade terminals throughout the galaxy and linking them all together? At the moment there are only a few and they are usually in out of the way locations so that people don't know they are there. For example the ones on Nar Shaddaa and Tatooine are almost unpopulated. I think this would help boost GTN trading as people wouldn't have to wait until they return to fleet.
  17. ah, I found this post (in this thread) so it looks like I can leave Quesh after all, phew! Maybe you already had some from Corellia or maybe it's bugged in more ways than one.
  18. Hi, did you ever work out where you got your 4th or where the 5th one was? I just nailed all of Quesh in a single day and was about to leave happy with my 3 after following the swtor-spy guide when I realised there are actually 5 listed in the codex. I found your thread and have decided to take up the challenge. I can't find anywhere with any information on 4 & 5 except your post. I'm not leaving Quesh until I've found them both!
