It's a daily occurrence now. Here is one of several incidents from a guild event last night. This was people accepting a summons from one planet to Makeb. On the flip side, people have mentioned to me that it's been weeks since they had the crash to desktop problem while using the server select screen. That's one which keeps coming and going with different patches.

During last week's server event we had numerous people crashing to desktop throughout the night. I had a crash myself which rarely happens. Didn't seem to be any pattern to it. Crashes happened to people while we were loading into planets and while we were just standing there after a kill waiting for the next summon. We haven't seen this happen during our weekly event series in the months prior to the patch-patch-patch. We only started seeing crashes on this scale after one of the v7 patches.

The events page says that 7 days is multiple weeks and it still mentions renown which was removed from game.

24 suicides with no shots fired, objectives or medals. When you are in a match and watch the suicide text over and over again you know full well that this is someone intentionally ruining it. You already publicly admitted that you yourself suicide to reset the timer. It was the same post where you claimed it's not possible to get into combat before the AFK timer kicks in: I then explained how that was incorrect since you can get there slowest ship in under 2 minutes. I also spent time writing a guide for you explaining the things you said were causing you problems so you could avoid suiciding 20+ times in matches. Your reply speaks for itself: You are the one who keeps trying to twist the topic by claiming "toxic elitists" are trying to ruin the game for inexperienced pilots when you know full well that is not what we mean. People who intentionally spoil matches should be dealt with. End of story. You are the one who is taking that idea as an attack on your person

Any progress on this? It's taken over 5 months to update a single equation. The simplest solution is to stop increasing the points required for the next level once a guild reaches level 64. There are no rewards for guilds past that level anyway. I provided several other possible solutions in the first post.

We get medals by participating in the match but I understand how their suggestion would be considered gating rewards behind skill level. Nobody in this thread has asked for rewards to be gated behind skill level. We've asked the devs to handle people who intentionally spoil matches by going AFK and suiciding. In that context what you call "l33t d00d PvPers" actually means "everybody that is not AFKing and suiciding" which is funny because when you swap the text it matches the twisted logic the match spoilers keep posting here There are plenty of people that enjoy GSF. I had no problems getting pops in between seasons on DM at peak hours. You are literally posting in a thread where people who enjoy GSF are asking the devs to help stop people from spoiling it. We have a small group of players who are intentionally spoiling a game mode which other players enjoy. There is no way to kick them as they reset the AFK timer so the vote button is removed. Ignoring somebody has no impact on who you get queued with for GSF. The match spoilers posting in this thread have openly admitted they don't care if they regularly ruin the game for everyone else as long as they get the loot they want. Your logic is that supporting those people is a positive thing and those of us that actually enjoy the game are driving people away

The most you can group with for GSF is 4 so you have no control over the other 8 spots on the team. The thing we want from GSF is fun matches that are not ruined by people intentionally going AFK and suiciding. That's the same thing most people want from the various forms of content the game offers. Yes it does seem threads asking for help with problem players attracts people who rant a lot with no meaningful substance. Maybe one day science will invent a way for those people to stop themselves reading and writing in threads they don't want to It's no surprise that the people intentionally ruining matches would try to defend their actions. It's amusing and sad watching them blame other people for their own decisions.

Yes. You say they can't stop counting suicides as a kill because people will abuse it and crash to deny a point to the enemy team. My suggestion handles that. Maybe it is you who should read it all

There are ways to handle AFKers and suiciders including what to do with people who intentionally crash to avoid giving the enemy team a point: GSF Suggestion: Stop counting suicides as a kill. I updated the first post there a few times while the thread was active to incorporate ideas that evolved due to the comments. There will always be ways for these selfish people to spoil the game for other players but the devs should not make it so easy for them. What's the point of trying to encourage more people to join GSF if new pilots are greeted with a ruined match as someone on their team does 30+ suicides or 1/4 of the team are ignoring control points and either sitting on the base ship or flying in a straight line at default speed until they crash or get killed. The current dev solution of "nerf the points" does not work. Even if it's only a tiny amount of points, these game spoilers will try to milk it the fastest and laziest way they can regardless of how it affects people on both teams. The good thing about this one that keeps posting in the GSF threads to brag about how they intentionally spoil the games is that it shows the devs the kind of mentality we have to deal with.

Nobody is complaining about sharing. The complaints are about selfish players intentionally spoiling the game for others. Yet another post in yet another thread where you keep blaming other people for your own decisions. Nobody is forcing you to do anything and there is no need to rush to get the gear. The funny thing about these people who intentionally spoil the game for other players so they can get gear faster is that they probably still need to be carried through raids. I wouldn't want one of them on a raid I'm leading as you know they will be that annoying group member who keeps trying to blame others for their own mistakes while continuously nagging everyone about loot.

If you picked a second class that was on the other faction then you could be suffering from the bug that a lot of other people had where it flipped them to the opposite faction but not fully. Hi, we ran our weekly world boss server event last night and noticed that while most of them were fine there is a problem with Dreadtooth 5 and 10 stacks since the patch 7 changes. During the fight, random people in the group get the blue debuff. While this can be cleansed we found that very often it was quickly followed by the attack which sends the entire group up into the air. The combo of the two insta-kills group members. We can brute force through the fight but this insta-kill combo definitely feels like an unintended consequence.
