  1. My Xalek dueled a similiar geared tank companion and Xalek won. The stats work now.
  2. Powertechs are really good at killing Jedi Knights 1v1, so yes. However, 1v1 versus a Sorcerer is a more even matchup.
  3. Double dipping is fun, but you don't gain any damage. FL gets clipped when you double cast, so you only get 6 tics of damage in 3 seconds. If you fast cast FL just once, you get the normal 4x tics in 1.5 seconds, and then cast a normal 4x tic 3 second cast gives the same damage. I still double dip, but it is good to know you don't lose anything by missing the second cast.
  4. I sort of glad the matrix shards are gone (they will be back). I found that have 2x Power PvP relics (War Hero and Battlemaster) allows you to use each one 30 seconds later. Of course you can use 2x War hero relics (one Power and one Crit/surge), but the extra crit/surge gets mostly wasted due to DR.
  5. That is the classic 21/2/18. Note having 100 extra Force instead of 6% cheaper Force is better.
  6. I don't think double dip will ever be fixed, but since patch 1.2 you get 6 tics out of 2x FL. No one noticed until today though. You still get 4x tics if you only cast one hasted FL.
  7. Hybrid got nerfed, the damage difference used to be bigger . I personally don't need Effusion since we lost Chain Lightning, but it is nice to have.
  8. I use 14/27 (dropping 1 point in crit and 2/3 in the surge talent) because I really like Overload. This is more for PvP, for PvE Overload isn't so great.
  9. A good setup is three Oranges with Augments and then the 2 set PvP bonus (from any two pieces), this is assuming you are playing Madness or Hybrid. This allows more casts of Crushing Darkness. The 2 set PvP bonus is about 10 dps with is around the value of 2 augments (36 willpower).
  10. Yes, lag will reduce the number of double dips. Also you have to hit your keybind within the queueing window. I think the default is set to 0.5s, mine is set to 1 second to make it easy to hit FL twice.

  12. Note in patch 1.2 you can get orange bracers and belts for 100k from a vendor and it requires Legacy 10.
  13. To the OP, DI is base 3 sec cast, you need to talent it to get it to 2.5s. With around 250 alacrity it is 2.3s cast.

Regarding stacking of slows, the game takes the larger of the two, so say you had the RB slow, the FT slow would override.
  15. Is this for PvP? You need No Escape, rebraced armor is like 1% less damage, having FB give a 30% chance to get a free RP isn't that great.
  16. They will not refund gear choices. Note Champion gear in 1.2 will become Recruit's gear, buyable with credits.
  17. I agree that Parakeet with CGC is a viable choice for a PT in 1.2. Jet Charge is great. The other change is tank spec has Heat Blast off the GCD. Sure its damage is reduced, but off the GCD means you can use it everytime the cooldown is up.
  18. It is the same priority for all dps Powertechs. Aim > Power > Surge >= Crit > Tech Power > Accuracy
  19. Regarding fighting healers, you have the interrupt, then you can use Harpoon for another interrupt (you need to back up), and then the stun. Or just spec dps, then healers are easy.
  20. Ashara better stance is the armor pen stance, not bleed.
  21. Force Storm has no cap, sometimes the flyover text is incorrectly read. However, the spell over affects a certain area.
  22. Enforcer, it has around 34 power and 48 surge.
