IIRC, the astromech droid has +5% crit.

I am a JK, and I send my astromech droid on low level rich missions for the added crit chance, then I send the other two companions on any rich missions that become available. I never touch the highest level missions as there is a chance to fail those. The point is to never send a companion out on anything but rich, and level 1, 2, and 3 rich missions have the same payout/cost ratio of the higher level ones, but can be done much faster. I forgot to mention that I have an inventory full of missions and cybertech patterns that can be sold when I get to a GTN.

I stood in the Tatooine cantina for three hours and went from 53k to 98k credits yesterday (duo leveling with my wife, and she was ill yesterday and couldn't play, so I couldn't do anything that would gain EXP). There is nothing wrong with slicing.

So... is just on Hyperspace Cannon, just me, or is anyone else having this issue?

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but over a long peroid of playing and doing group conversations, I start getting a window that pops up with several 'dead' conversation start boxes that you have to hit escape over and over to close. These stay up there before each conversation until I relog.

I kept wondering what was happening there, I almost thought I was developing some sort of dementia. I would keep thinking to myself “Didn’t I put my relics on my right side toolbar? I could have sworn I did, oh well, I’ll put them there now.”

That's not really a bug. It is more of a balancing issue than anything else.

I thought he was asking if he RE's purple items he crafted would he learn an orange version that had mod slots in it. In which case; No, you can't. Purple is the highest tier from discovered patterns you can learn.

Does anyone know if maybe they put in level 50 patterns that can only be obtained by killing operation bosses? That could explain why even at max crafting level you still can't make level 50 gear.

There's this weird stigma about people not involved in raiding getting gear just as good as those that do. Until the people who get the raiding gear stop caring that those that don't like raiding can still get the same stuff, you'll just have to use the stuff one tier down. Never mind the fact that gathering all the materials as you level, plus spending all the time and credits in order to obtain your 400 skill in crafting is probably comparable to the time it takes to just level to 50 and get in a guild to kill the 1st operation boss.
