  1. I'm confused as to what the bug is... Oh I see now, my eyes are tired as well.
  2. "There was also an in-game secret in Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos where Arthas discovers a Pandaren Relaxation Area in Andorhal before finding King Terenas' remains." That is just an example I found quickly. I'm sure there are more. They have been in the "story" since the beginning, might not be in warcraft 1 but I believe they were. But then again WoW doesn't have a story does it? http://www.wowwiki.com/Pandaren
  3. Pandas have actually been in the warcraft series since the beginning but were not put in world of warcraft. the only reason they were added, was because everyone was asking for them to be added. Blizzard listened to their customers, and people who don't like wow choose this as their scapegoat to bash wow. i hope you enjoy kill this, loot this, activate this, listening to irrelevant sidequest dialogue, giving your irrelevant conversational choices that give you some numbers one way or the other, and your lack of features that make an MMO good.
  4. I cannot decide if this post is serious or full of sarcasm. in case it's serious, I hope you learn to think before posting. WoW encourages creativity and diversity through it's macros and addons, which is already way more creativity and diversity than swtor. WoW later began to develop more quests then just kill this, loot this, activate this. And that's all the quests are in swtor right now. you are not a "true MMO player" you are an ignorant troll who has no idea what they are talking about.
  5. This game needs addons and macros, customizing the interface is a good way to get a new feeling to the game and it does make it more enjoyable. Addons like recount help players to better themselves because without it there is no way to know what DPS you are really doing, especially in comparison to the rest of the group. Macros allow players who like to use a wide range of abilities fit all their abilities on their action bar, and help roleplayers do common expressions easily. If you don't like them, don't use them, end of story.
  6. I was told this game was WoW + better story + better crafting + no grinding. It is WoW - customization - end game - addons - good pvp - arena - LFD + space combat + voice overs + interactive story... That's all. So many negatives not enough positives. Looking forward to when this game gets better.
  7. It is just like wow, first of all that's a really stupid first reason, secondly wow has a story and the characters have depth.
  8. I am not seeing anyone complaining about the emphasis on story. I'm seeing you complain about other people's opinion, which is worse.

    I quit

This is WoW in space and WoW is SWTOR in fantasy land. Que thread close.
  10. They wont do it. Just don't read the quote threads if you don't like them, they get drowned out anyways and it would be bad if there was a whole section of people bashing the game.
  11. IMO, I feel like I'm leveling a character in WoW with some voice overs and that's it. Don't get me wrong I like WoW, but after a while I'm getting that grinding feeling and all the hype of this game led me to believe it would be so much different but it isn't. I'm glad you are having fun though! I'm still going to play because there are some points where I don't feel like I'm grinding.

    I quit

This post is full of win.
  13. Some people are posting to say they quit because they want to say why they are quitting. If you don't care that's your opinion but some people DO. Dev's will want to know why people are quitting, and if they make a post someone might even change their mind. You are just hardcore raging dude, did you miss nap time?
  14. I had high hopes for this game. I still do, but in it's current state it is just a WoW substitute. Not the same thing, but so close the only choice you have to make to decide which you want to play is sci-fi or fantasy. I am entertained by voice dialogue but once that's over I'm just grinding the same quest objectives over and over.
  15. I'm getting annoyed by this too. It was a very engaging game until everyone started telling me to kill this or activate this. Don't get me wrong there are a lot of other cool things, but too much of the same thing. I feel like I'm just going to start telling all these sidequests npcs to do it themselves but then I will be too low level to do the story.
