  1. Baron Deathmark :"Oh, WOW, she just stabbed that guy right in the face! That's the most demented thing I've ever seen, and I've been to the undercity of Nar Shaddaa." Giradda the Hutt: <speaks in Huttese> Baron Deathmark: "No, he's definitely not getting up from that one!"
  2. I agree, but for a different reason. Namely that being free of canon allows TOR's writers a bit more freedom to do what they want.
  3. They're sticking with the name "Moraband" in the new canon, huh? Harumph.
  4. And I was pointing out that she's not actually part of the royal family. Thus, it may have nothing to do with that. Heck, we haven't even really seen any female Zakuulans beyond them. The only one I can think of that has a speaking role is in the Old World. Maybe the doohickies on their foreheads is part of the aristocracy in general, or something. Or maybe it's just a fashion statement that only some women adorn themselves with.
  5. I'm pretty sure that's a blessing. You FOOL!
  6. I think that may be the case, too. Although, I don't think Senya was ever actually queen. At most, she was princess consort.
  7. Tough one. Dark Honor Guard/Senate Commando classes, maybe. Or open space. Kath hound master race.
  8. I disagree. The timeline video made it seem to me that she was more into breaking the Mandalorian blockade for the money, not for allegiance to the Republic. And it's clear that she didn't want to be a hero, since she didn't attend the medal ceremony.
  9. These all seem possibilities for me, although there's a sliding scale of possibility. Commentary in blue. Another theory that I think is a possibility is the breaking-down of factional barriers. Not a strong one, but with the Alliance thing going on, I could see it.
  10. I'm glad we have another thread about this, it can go to the other two-dozen that have less than three pages.
  11. Sure is. But what would calling it the "Coalition" instead do? I mean, it kinda sounds cooler,
  12. Because all of your suggestions would imply there are member states of the organization, when the Alliance is comprised of a bunch of turncoats, mercenaries, and affiliates of major factions, but no actual representation of them. It has individuals part of other factions, such as the Republic, Empire, and Hutt Cartel, but those factions themselves are not members of the Alliance, nor is the Alliance a governing body.
  13. Hey, I'm excited about Chapter X. Because maybe it means I'll finally give Kaliyo the blaster bolt that's been waiting for her for about four years now.
  14. It wouldn't surprise me if we'll get a new round of companions with each chapter post-IX (one per specialist), and a few more will pop up along the core story itself (one is already confirmed through looking at the preview for Chapter X). I could see some being dropped completely, though, either due to wide disapproval by players (Skadge, for instance), or just for the sake of pruning some voice actors to conserve the budget.
  15. Pretty sure this is more the fault of the players thinking that they're supposed to rely solely on the kolto stations for healing than BioWare's. Healing specs exist for a reason.
  16. Yes, it is clearly that, out of all possible things.
  17. I third this. Hell, KotFE even draws parallels with the Original Trilogy, since we're essentially building our own Rebel Alliance. It's just not as blatant as, "Oh, hey, guys, this evil dude is wearing a rebreather and has a red lightsaber! He's like Vader, but not!" KotFE feels more like KotOR III than vanilla TOR ever did (granted, that's probably more to do with better writing and a greater presentation than theme), and definitely feels very Star Wars to me. It may help that the writing team seems to be much more focused on working together (as opposed to vanilla TOR, where a lot of the stories seem to ignore each other a bit, if not outright contradict each other), which, I think, is a benefit to the monostory, as opposed to multiple separate stories.
  18. THIS poster knows what I'm talkin' about! On a related subject, there needs to be a "double guns" emoji.
  19. Or Or Boy, will I do something!
  20. As an Operative, I like the laughter. And I was very disappointed when they took it away for a while and replaced it with the generic machine sound. It's not quite as frequent as it used to be, so be glad for that. I think the way they have it now is perfect.
  21. OR OR People can--- OR Hear me out, here. This is a controversial statement that may lead to some players threatening to cancel their seven subs to the game based on my suggestion alone. OR People can just not be jerks to newbies and, instead, give them pointers on how to play.
  22. Yeah, I can't stand Kira, either. Her witticisms never really tickled my fancy in the same way as Vette or Gault.
  23. You're not supposed to die, that's kinda the point.
