It did not. But I quit at WoD because it was so terrible, so haven't really kept up with WoW much. But I do know that it WAS removed and it never will return.

This is the exact reason I ask. Yeah theoretically I could just go to a dummy but I haven't done that quite yet. Wanted to get some opinions on here as well. So you're basically saying the dots are dynamic. (yay) BUT you are saying the dots will tick faster but not MORE ticks. Does this mean that the dots will end quicker then? Maybe I misread or maybe I didn't, but the way you're describing it an 18 second dot would end on 16 seconds instead of 18 seconds.

If you don't know what snapshotting is it's basically that the dots you apply to a target are applied as the stats you have when the dot is cast. If you get a trinket proc or use an alacrity enhancing ability, your dots will not be updated with that increased alacrity until you re-apply said dots. So my question is basically are dots dynamic in this game? Like for example, as a madness sorc can I dot 1 add, spread the dots with death field, and then hit polarity shift. Will these dots have my base stats or will they be dynamic and become my alacrity buffed dots on all targets without re-applying them. Thanks in advance!

Wow I didn't expect the post to take off the way it did. Thanks for the replys guys. I've currently swapped to madness to level, to get a feel of the rotation. That was I can be familiar with both specs at 65. I've ran a couple warzones as madness aswell and it really feels fluid. Haven't decided yet however! May still end up healing, but at 65 I have to say I'm leaning more towards Madness/Corruption

Currently leveling a Lightning sorc, with the intent on swapping it to corruption at 65. However I've done some low level pvp ( I know it is waaaaayyy out of balance) and I have had an absolute blast. Insane damage and all around survivability compared to other classes I have played. So my main question is, is lightning good at 65? Or should I roll madness if I'm planning to dps. And if all else fails should I just stick with my additional plan to heal at 65. Thanks in advance!

Hey guys, I'm new to Marauder and I was wondering what spec is the most fun for just doing Solo que unranked warzones. I will say I have always had a lot of natural skill and quick thinking when it comes to PvP, especially on Melee classes. So I'm really enjoying Marauder so far. Unfortunately I tend to roll with the crowd as far as what people are playing. (I hate myself for this). So when looking around at the other Marauders I cannot really get an accurate depiction as to what people are playing. I did level as carnage and I really liked it. I've done a couple Warzones and was near the top. However I find the Gore window to be frustrating especially when I get cc'd during it. Sorry for writing a book for just a simple question, but I'm honestly just curious on what you guy's opinions are and why. I heard Fury can put out some great numbers while Annhi can aswell. I'm not really looking for the spec that's the "Best," just looking for the one that is fun and can consistently put out some good numbers in a solo environment. Also please give a brief preview on what Implant/earpieces to get aswell! Thanks for the read and thanks in advance!

So I flirted with every option I had, made sure she approved of most things.... Talked to her after every mission when available. Yet, chapter 3 has ended for me to where we *get down to business* and she says "I'm okay" Seriously, what did I do wrong? I realize I probably won't be able to go back but darn. I don't feel like I did anything wrong, yet It looks like it clearly failed/bugged. Anyone know of any fixes/workarounds? Or a possible reason on why this failed?

I know this seems like a stupid question, but when I join warzones I seem to get bolstered anyways. Does actually having a set of the Cynosure or exemplar's set actually increase your performance ( Not counting the set bonus .) I'm just curious. I would imagine it would make a difference.

I don't really know if I'm doing something wrong or not. I have Ashara and I'm currently about to land on Belsavis. However, she won't talk to me onboard the ship. She only has one time and she never has again. I feel like there should be more dialogue options by now. I recently got Talos and he's already spoken to me 3+ times. Could it have anything to do with my alignment? I'm currently Dark II. Please help guys, never had an issue to where my companions wont have dialogue for me. EDIT: I fixed it. Thread can be closed.
