  1. In general, for any forum, making a petition thread, a /sign thread or a "bump" thread is frowned upon. If the developer is aware of a problem having people post on a thread isn't going to get it fixed any faster. The triage process for bug fixing usually doesn't use "post count" as one of the inputs when deciding severity (nor would I want it to). Any concerns over moderation - both positive and negative - should be emailed to bwacommunitysupport@bioware.com so your concerns can be addressed one-on-one.
  2. Well, you won't be able to get a substantial upgrade to your CPU without also upgrading your motherboard and RAM. So, go with your video card.

  6. That computer is about 8 years old. It won't run this game well.

  8. Bioware has stated that they aren't doing that for now because they don't have the manpower to moderate all of them.
  9. If it comes, it'll be much farther off than the time it will take you to level a new character to 24.
  10. They have temporarily disabled the search function.
  11. Todays date: Dec. 25th Release date: Dec. 20th That's some interesting math.
  12. DEP is a function built into Windows to prevent a program overflowing its memory and putting executable code into places where it's not supposed to be. It's not a matter of how much memory you have. Try turning it off for all programs and see what that does.
  13. It's not a matter of compatibility, it's just slow. It would probably load, but it wouldn't play at a performance level you'd be happy with.
  14. Yep, that's the downside to buying a slim or integrated PC like that. They tend not to be very upgradeable. That's why I've never suggested them for people who want to game.

  16. The motherboard in a slim case likely won't mount in a standard PC case. Sorry.
  17. Dear Lord I hope they don't choose how to allocate their development resources based on how many posts there are on the forums.
  18. How does creating a new post about a known issue help get it fixed faster? All it does is clutter up the forum.
  19. As long as the item isn't Bind on Pickup, you should be able to mail it to your other character.
  20. I'm not exactly sure what that means. See? Now this is the sort of system I would love to see. It would simply make the searching of players easier and cut down on the /1 spam. But, people skip past this as an option and say that because they don't like WoW's LFD system that no tool should ever be built.
  21. I wonder if maybe there isn't a bad sector on your SSD. If it's having trouble reading part of the game then it will take drastically longer to load.
